Now this I how I want the whole farm to look.. pre emergent perfectly applied and crops doing well with weed far away Op .. great job....but 1..that your farm seems to be water-logged.... planting cassava in such a place might not be the best.The tubers may start to rot by 9months especially if is TME419 2..The cassava stems are best planted horizontally so each node produces.There is nothing like wind direction in cassava farming.I will strongly advice you consult more for advice. 3..Your maize are overpopulated...trim them. Again how much are we looking at and for what duration?Your office address in Ibadan How do you intend mitigating the risks associated with farming, ranging from climate change (absence of rain when it ought to, excessive rainfall culminating in flooding) herders farmers clash, pests such as grass cutters, monkeys, squirrels, man invasion, inability of getting labourers /workers when need be as you run after them with a general knowledge that those unskilled labourers disappoint when you need them most. We are in Ojoo,Ibadan....kindly pc me for my factory address Sir. I have been there for 4 years now and have not had any issue with theft,not heard of Fulani/herdsmen clashes....yet to even see a cattle grazing around that place.I have Nairalanders here too that are farming there. As regards flooding,no case like such and there will be none in Jesus name. |

And for your garri processing factory, hope marketing the end produce isn't and won't be a problem.
If I'm coming in as an investor, what's your own equity contribution? What's the value of your counterpart funding?
2. If it's a case of coming in as an angel investor, regularizing terms and conditions. Can we seal deal legally? I started the garri factory on the 14th, November,2018 and my Garri has not spent 48hours in the factory. Apart from having ready wholesalers/retailers of my products,my wife has an outlet where I sell off my products at #15 discount from the current market price.This does not actually mean I am volunteering to sell your Garri for the project please.We need to have an agreement. I am not interested in any equity contribution.I am doing 25acres there myself for next year.If anyone is coming in,you come in to farm yourself and if you need me to monitor and manage it for you,then there is a need for a solid agreement. The reason I put it out is incase anyone is interested and to let such person know that you can farm cassava with reasonable profit as I have never and will never encourage farming without value addition as it is not too profitable. |
