A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers.
It's a big let down after all the 'critical acclaim'. The dude is just rambling for the better part of the book.

The Diamond of Darkhold  by Jeanne Duprau.

Last book in the Ember series.

I had to clear my schedule somewhat to read it, and it doesnt disappoint, imo.

the author tries to wrap up the story of Ember (a bit too finally, though), though there's still a lot of material and story angles to use if she'd wanted to write some more sequels.

I'd originally thought the second book would end the entire series, so I must say, the author's a great storyteller and very imaginative. Funny too, in some parts of the book.

She started slow, then picked up speed , and reworked some of the old material. The exact ending was rather strange though.

Who Moved My Cheese

I strongly recommend everyone read this book (short, sweet and easy to read) I read it and put myself in the 4 different characters. The book deal with changes. I learned that in life I'm going to have to make hard decisions and it's going to be up to me to make the right one. I also learn that in life sometimes change can be good. Change often helps people become better people in life.

I am reading Conspiracy of Lagos, the latest novel of Bisi Daniels, the # 1 Nigerian writer of thrillers.
I recommend this novel to any filmmaker, because it reads like a screenplay and very graphic.
Desmond Elliot is on the cover.
