Yes, the truth is Nigeria itself under the current British creation presents a problem to development. Different nations in this country can't just develop in their own direction all because of "one Nigeria" dragging everyone back. Even some of our problems like electricity would have been solved to some extent a long time ago, if states were allowed to generate their own electricity, crime rate may have been reduced drastically, if states were allowed to run their own police force, some states may have chosen to learn in their native language, if this was a confederation. E.T.C. So, yes, Nigeria itself is a problem.

But, the problem of what to adopt as a common language, if we were to begin learning in our native languages today shouldn't even arise. Education can still occur in our various native languages even in present Nigeria. The curriculum may remain the same nationwide, but the actual knowledge acquisition would happen in our various native languages. So, if you're Igbo, you'll learn and write your exams in Igbo. If you're Yoruba, you learn and write your exams in Yoruba. E.T.C. Remember, this does not mean our schools would stop teaching English. English would still remain simply as a subject in school just like every other subject, and not a way of life as is today.

White people themselves understands the need for using our native languages in passing message, and you see this whenever there's a global disease scare and the world health organization (WHO) wants to send information worldwide. Their policy includes making sure such information is sent in almost all languages worldwide to carry everybody along. Its clear our indoctrinated state of mind is what's preventing us from appreciating our native languages and using it for knowledge acquisition.

In fact, Jehovah's witnesses are already doing so, and I snapped the below pictures from their stand sometime as as a proof. They publish their watchtower and awake magazines in various languages, but all of them are saying exactly the same thing, while the knowledge acquisition itself happen in the languages of the readers. Education acquired in mother's tongue is the true meaning of education.

The black race is a lost cause.

NYSC / Re: Nigeria Depends On You – Osinbajo Tells NYSC Corps Members by NightKing21: 8:03am On May 27, 2017
Big lie being told over and over again.

Yarnvibes:
Nigeria’s Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has said that the country depends on the labour of members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who are deployed to various states across the country for national assignments.

Osinbajo said this in his goodwill message to ‘Batch A’ corps members at their swearing-in ceremony at the temporary orientation camp at the College of Education in Awi, Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State, read by the state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Ambekemo Eniola.

He said, as published by Punch, “Since its establishment 43 years ago, the NYSC has recorded much success in the sustenance of our national unity, integration and the economic development of our country.

This nation depends largely on your labour, in no small way; it is a great responsibility that you all bear.

“The role of corps members is a significant task that impacts on aspects of our national life, including the conduct of elections and census, national health and campaigns.

You must therefore uphold the ideals of the scheme and remain conscientious in the discharge of your duties.”

A man was caught on camera embarrassing himself publicly in broad daylight. While waiting on a queue for a bus in Lagos, the man decided to move closer to the lady in his front, "ensuring" that his manh00d touched its target (which was the lady's backside)...

Even as the lady who appeared to have noticed what was going on moved forward -the man still moved closer while being erect as a huge bulge was visibly seen in his trousers.. such an embarrassment.

The video which was shared on Facebook yesterday has raked over 160,000 views and thousands of shares as online users have blasted the man for the shameless act.

Thank you for recommending this thread.

I was once at a point in my life where I was also pondering on everything the author was pondering about. And, I have long answered that question, the solution is contained on the part 1 and part 2 of the link on my signature. The answer is EDUCATION- the right type of education, not what is obtainable today. Until we get education right to reset our mindsets back to our natural selves before slavery and colonialism, nothing would work in Africa. Or, we would have to wait millions of years and literally begin to think like white people. For now, the identity issue hasn't been resolved. The question remains; do we want to be white people or Africans? This is an important question any thinking person involved in managing education in Africa must answer immediately for us to proceed.

Countries; like, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei, even Japan, once upon a time in their national lives came to a point where they had to decide whether they wanted to forever adopt the cultures of their colonizers or be just Asians. Fortunately, they made the right decision, they all discarded the system of education given them by their colonial masters and started acquiring knowledge in their native language.

Our major problem is the system of education white people left us with. Its that education that creates the mindset that have us consider white people as the reference for excellence. We cannot be better than white people as long as we continue to acquire knowledge under a system of indoctrination they gave us. We can't even act right as the author wondered.

The problem of elitism in Africa that the author observed is real and I've observed that in my personal research. Its a direct legacy of the colonial past. The colonialists lived like kings and when they were leaving their colonies they created elites given a system of education with that mindset. This was done to keep the elites comfortable enough to maintain the exploitation of Africa using the same elites as conduits. Therefore, an educated African in government becomes someone who's supposed to live large like a colonial master. For example; this's why you would hear someone like Emir Sanusi spending a whooping N4 Billion of Kano state's funds and justifying it. So, Northern Nigeria isn't immune to the malaise as suggested by the author.

This problem of elitism would easily be solved once we begin using our native language to acquire knowledge. The gap between the elites and every other person would close to a large extent. You can imagine; for instance, an Igbo man or Yoruba woman or Zulu man, e.t.c sitting in a court room where legal and court deliberation is served in their native language, and everybody would be carried along. The elite then would no longer be one who could speak better English or French- the language of elites installed by white people. You would then have peasants, market women, agberos, everybody having an opinion on court cases and all sorts of subjects in the polity because they actually understand what's going on in the country, not just so called educated people.

The benefits are many. A Yoruba man tutored in Yoruba culture and system of education would never steal money belonging to his people and run to Switzerland to keep it. And Igbo man tutored on Igbo system of learning would not steal money belonging to Igbo people. They would be educated enough about their tradition, themselves, their people, so much that they would find corruption and stealing of public funds unattractive. They would be educated enough to understand there would be consequences for their action in the wider society; like, rise in armed robbery, kidnapping, suicide, e.t.c.

No matter how I check it, education stands at the root of having the very capacity to arrive at the right conclusion whether as an individual or a nation. If Nigeria needs to confederate or split from the British contraption as the author put it, only the right type of education would let us know what's best for us. The right type of education would remove ethnicity and have us think straight.

Only education based on African mindset would solve our problem. I' am talking about a system of education based on African philosophy, not on white man's theories and language. Again, details on the link on my signature.

042report:
Muamar Gaddafi's Prophecies:

"I will not go into exile to any foreign country. I was born here in Libya, and I will die here. This country was a dessert, and I turned it into a forest, where everything can grow.

No one Love this land more more than its citizens. If Europe and America tells you that they love you, be careful. They love the wealth of your land. The oil and not the people. They are helping you to fight against me but, it will be more wise for you to fight against them because they are fighting against your future and progress.

My message to you the people of Libya is, they are helping you to kill me but you will pay the price because you will suffer. And my message to you America and Europe is, you will kill me, but be ready to fight a never ending TERRORISM.
Before you realise your ignorance, terrorists will be hitting you at your doorstep."

GADDAFI only erred in my opinion when he once told the Nigerian and British governments to divide Nigeria into two, so that the Hausa/Fulani (Moslems), Yoruba (Christians) and Biafrans/Igbo, can live as neighbouring countries.

It's good we look at these 16 REAL REASONS WHY COL. GADDAFI WAS KILLED:

1. There is no electricity bill in Libya, electricity is free for all its citizens.
2. There is no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens are at a 0% interest by law.
3. Home is considered a human right in Libya. Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home.
4. All newlyweds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinars (US$50,000) from the government to buy their first apartment.
5. Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi, only 25% of Libyans were literates. Today, the figure stands at 83%.
6. Libyans taking up farming as a career, they received farm land, a farming house, equipment, seeds and livestock to kick- start their farms – all for free.
7. If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they needed in Libya, the government funded them to go abroad for it.
8. In Gaddafi's Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price.
9. The price of petrol in Libya is $0. 14 per liter.
10. Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally.
11. If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation, the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found.
12. A portion of Libyan oil sale is credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.
13. A mother who gave birth to a child under Gaddafi, received US $5,000 as child benefit upfront.
14. 40 loaves of bread in Libya costs $ 0.15 Cents.
15. 25% of Libyans have a university degree.
16. Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River Project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country.
If this is called "Dictatorship", I wonder what type of Leadership Democrats have!!

IpobExposed:
Liepods Liepods how many times I call una.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said the international community and other foreign observers have been delegated to monitor the May 30 sit-at-home order it declared in honour of fallen heroes of Biafra during the civil war between 1967 and 1970.
The group noted that there would be no movement of any kind because the international community and foreign observers will be in Biafraland with their media team to ascertain if the people of Biafra were ready for the upcoming referendum for Biafra sovereignty.

The Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Mr. Emma Powerful in a statement said IPOB, under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu remained a peaceful and non-violent organisation in the history of freedom fighting across the globe. This will continue, following the rules provided by the United Nations Charter for the rights of the indigenous people.
“We are advising Biafrans, both home and abroad to observe the remembrance day celebration of our fallen heroes and heroines who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our people to live today in Nigeria. The May 30 sit-at-home and remembrance day celebration will be a remarkable event in the history of Biafra.
“We are going to maintain the peaceful approach in pursuit of our freedom from Nigeria. The Biafra liberation movement is sacrosanct and we are waxing stronger both at home and diaspora and will not go back in the quest for the restoration of Biafra.
“Anybody who is thinking to sabotage the struggle is doing that at his or her own detriment, the conditional bail attached to our leader was to cage him and to dampen the high spirits of IPOB family members worldwide,” Powerful stated.

The group, however, condemned the continued detention of Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawuisi, Bright Chimezie, George Onyeibe and other members in different Nigeria prisons in Igweocha in River State, Delta State, Anambra State, Akwa Ibom State, Abia State and Abuja.
“We blame the judicial commission and Attorney General of the Federation for allowing Justice Binta Nyako to continue messing up the judicial system in Nigeria.
The Attorney General of the Federation should have dropped all the concocted and fabricated charges preferred against our leader, Nnamdi Kanu and others remanded in prison to save their image in the face of the international community.
“It is very appalling that a well trained judge like Justice Binta Nyako would allow herself and the court to be used to bar Kanu from exercising his fundamental human rights.
“However, the continued detention of these people in different prisons and DSS secret cells across the country remained the weakness on the side of the Judicial Commission and Attorney General of the Federation.
“It is very abnormal that the Judicial Service Commission and judiciary in Nigeria that suppose to be the last hope for the common man would turn themselves to be problem for the masses. With the judgment on April 25, 2017 banning our leader from speaking to the press and staying with more than 10 persons, proves to the world that the judiciary in Nigeria is where truth can never prevail.
“According to the information reaching us, those our members detained in different prisons and secret cells across the country are no more safe, almost all of them are sick without proper medical attention, especially those in Kuje prison. We are calling for their immediate release to enable them take proper medical treatment because we will not take it easy with anybody if anything happens to any of our members in detention anywhere in the country.
“We are calling on men and women of good conscience across the globe, Amnesty International and relevant human rights organisations to prevail on the Attorney General of the Federation and the Judicial Service Commission to drop the concocted and fabricated charges preferred against our leader
Nnamdi Kanu and others detained illegally alongside him in Kuje Prison because they committed no offence against anybody or Nigeria.
The injustice against the people of Biafra in Nigeria are numerous to mention, IPOB, under the leadership of Kanu have decided to fight it to a standstill. Of course, many are aware that this is a project of God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama) which IPOB embarked upon to liberate our people from the shackles of bondage,’ Powerful declared.

Toke Makinwa was present in court today over her divorce case with estranged husband, Maje Ayida. According to a witness who was in court;..

The matter was slated for her cross examination by counsel representing her estranged husband. After she got into the witness box, however, counsel representing her husband stated that her husband wasn't interested in joining issues with her because they had enjoyed a long term relationship and he was now ready to move on. But the lawyer representing her chose to re-examine his client and presented certain documents which were admitted as evidence by the court. The matter was adjourned for adoption of final written address.
At the close of trial, various law students currently undergoing internship at the court took pictures with Toke whom they described as their "celebrity crush". She was both warm and receptive!

Here are photos from the raid carried out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on the farmland belonging to former Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Chief Marshal, Alex Badeh, in Kugwuru village, Karu, Nasarawa state. It was gathered that operatives of the anti-graft agency, following a tip-off, broke into Badeh’s room, ransacked the ceiling of the farmhouse and even went into underground septic tanks in search of money they claimed he had hidden on the farm.

It was also gathered that in the process of the raid, an operatives got stuck in the septic tank but was rescued by the former CDS’ domestic staff.

Photos of the raid which was carried out on April 6th and 9th 2017 at about 9pm to 1am respectively, show that the operatives destroyed some of Badeh’s properties during the exercise.
