world1: Good news for livestock farmers.
New Hope Liuhe Company Limited (NHLCL), an agribusiness company from China, has expressed its desire to invest in the sector’s development in Nigeria
Dang ZhiMin, vice president at NHLCL, led the company delegation to Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja. ZhiMin made assurances to invest in various sectors like manufacturing, processing and selling of animal feed, raw material additives, dairy products and more. He said that the company’s investment in its selected areas of interest would also help the local economy and provide employment.
The Chinese delegation was accompanied by a representative from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Zhao Xin, general manager of investment and development at NHLCL, said that the company, in collaboration with the foundation, is ready to invest in Nigeria. Describing the country as one of the biggest markets in the continent, he asked the government to support their plans.
The executive secretary of NIPC, Uju Hassan-Baba assured the potential investors of government assistance and an investment environment conducive to their investment, saying, “Those who are investing in the agricultural sector in Nigeria, especially a company like yours, is assured of abundant resources and huge fortunes.”
Hassan-Baba said that encouragement, promotion and coordination of investments in Nigeria were part of the commission’s mandate. She told the delegation members that Nigeria offered a ready-made market for products, with more than 170mn consumers in the country and also served as a gateway to other markets in West Africa. How can one get the contact of this company? |

The quality of the Nigerian opposition is just shocking.
The author of this piece is comparing a Buhari government who has just taken over the government of Nigeria from the PDP to the UK's Prime Minister who has just been re-elected after being in power for the last 5 years.

If he is going for a Bsc in Nursing which takes about 3-3.5 yrs, he cant get PR until he is done studying. 18months or 2 yrs diploma in nursing should giv him PR faster expecially if he study in Regional Areas of Australia.
Be sure u know d drift. @ mrnilobrawn and Bossladymo can he get his PR once he graduates and is registered with AHRPA even before he starts working? Abeg u guys are too much ur ideas are coming in good |

There is no Advance diploma in Nursing program for international Students in any school in OZ, and probably diploma in nursing wont qualify him for SVP. He weighed the options but found out its not on Svp. It's all about the PR my people. I work in the Bank but I want to reall spend time with my children. If he gets the PR I will resign and join him.I plan to rest for atleast 2 yrs just to be with my cuties. |

He is a man...he will adjust. I came here with my husband and 2 young kids...didn't know anybody. ..relying on google...and we are settling in fine. So don't worry your head...![smiley](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/smiley.png) Tnks BossladyMo are you in Melbourne too? Heard it's quite expensive. |

bossladyMo:
What is TPP?
Well...if the rules still remain the same, he can qualify for a 189/190 after his degree. Especially as his completion of a nursing degree will enable him register with Ahpra, and wont need to assess his degree, as it is an Australian one. It would have been better if he was in the regional area, I mean schoolig in a regional area. Cos you get extra 5pts for that and you are almost guaranteed a job. TPP is Tertiary Preparation Programme like a Pathway to the Nursing Program. |

He has to finish schooling, coz he wil need his result/certificates to file for PR. Unless ofcourse he already hav a degree and relevant working experince then he can start his PR as soon as he gets to Australia Tnk you@ Mrnilobrawn. My hubby doesn't know anyone in Aussie how well do you think he can adjust in terms of accommodation and working to pay his fees. I hear Nursing is demanding too! |
