oxygyne: Thank you so much for your kind words. Exactly, I kept kicking myself for not doing priority and we could afford it too but I thought it would be enough time. Awww, Congratulations on your wedding. I’m not looking forward to the next application but at least I’ll be doing that within the UK. I’m just focusing on my recovery for now. |

Hello everyone, I found out this thread a few days after my application but still read every single page. Type : settlement fiancé visa Priority : No Date of application : 17/03/2018 Biometrics : 21/03/2018 Documents sent : 31/03/2018 Documents received email: 13/04/2018 Application not straightforward : 14/06/2018 Email requesting payment of IHS Fee : 25/06/2018 (payment done immediately) Escalation by MP : 18/07/2018 Escalation by email 1 : 19/07/2018 Escalation by phone call : 25/07/2018 Escalation by email 2 : 09/08/2018 Escalation by email 3 : 17/08/2018 MP reply confirming visa approved : 21/08/2018 Decision made : 23/08/2018 Ready for collection : 24/08/2018 Passport picked : 03/09/2018 Visa dated from : 21/08/2018 - 21/02/2019 A few things to note, 1. I applied for a fiancé visa for my wedding on 01/09/2018. I didn’t have to pay for the IHS as this visa is only for 6 months and I would have switched to a spouse visa after marriage. We had put down wedding deposits for a venue, caterer, etc. Due to the delay, we lost almost £6k in deposits because our wedding insurance couldn’t cover everything. 2. We did our traditional wedding in June in Lagos and My greatest regret was not just going to the registry and going for full spouse visa but I thought it was the most straightforward application. 3. 4 different guests who used our wedding IV cards for their visa application as proof of purpose of visits all had their visas way before mine. 4. A few hours after the email to collect my passport, I fainted and needed emergency surgery as I had a ruptured appendix that previously gave no symptoms. My husband had to come 2 days after and he’s still with me. 5. I’ll end up going back to the UK at the end of the month or whenever I’m stronger. 1 Like |

JMAN05: You're just grasping at the straws now and its so disappointing but I'm not surprised. Like I said, I asked you a question on the 3rd of November and I'm going to ask you the question again for the umpteenth time, I'll even quote how I wrote it more than a week ago "The bible said do not eat blood. The same leviticus speculates death for adultery, so why don't you kill your members that commit adultery? So now bible laws is not black and white anymore, it's now principles? So answer this please, what principle said you can take blood fractions?" It's been 11 days since I asked you that question and you haven't given me an answer but you come back days later asking me about indian hemp. Why can't you answer the question? How hard is it? are you not a fraud for trying to deflect the question? After all, it's something your church said you can do. So why can't you defend your beliefs? Why can't you explain a simple question about your doctrines? You think by asking a question without answering the one posed to you, your ignorance isn't visible? I can only imagine how hard it must be for you, for not being able to answer a simple question knowing you'll contradict your church's teachings. So you scurry away for a few days and come back with a random question and side track what I asked. It's pathetic at this point, give up already. |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 12:24am On Nov 13, 2017 |
JMAN05: Madam, you're just exposing your hypocrisy by this continued display of ignorance. You call yourself a bible teacher and bla bla but simple questions, you refuse to answer because you know the answer doesn't correspond with what they teach you. I said it was removed, you asked for proof and I gave you. Now you want to see where it was, I've told you where to search but you don't want to, so you keep shut because you have nothing tangible to defend |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 9:35pm On Nov 09, 2017 |
Peacefullove: Well, you should be asking the Jehovahs witnesses that question because they said they abstain from blood, but still take blood fractions transfusion |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 9:14pm On Nov 08, 2017 |
Peacefullove: Mate, wtf does that have to do with me. I showed you how sexual intercourse includes other forms of sex from the dictionary but you said it's secondary . So if you want to believe that anal or MouthAction is not fornication, good on you. 1 corinthians 6:9-11 says "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men" By your definition, men can't have sexual intercourse with each other because one doesn't have a vagina. Does that make the slightest of sense to you? 1 Like |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 10:15am On Nov 08, 2017 |
Peacefullove: Lmao, I should grow up but you're arguing with a dictionary definition? It's clear your reason is flawed. The bible isn't a dictionary to tell you the meaning of words, so don't be silly. |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 7:04pm On Nov 06, 2017 |
1stflight: They won't answer you oh, Any one I ask this question will either run away or try to ask a question to deflect from it. They've not told them in their church how to answer it yet and they don't want to accept their hypocrisy and double standards |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 7:01pm On Nov 06, 2017 |
Peacefullove: Meriam Webster Dictionary Definition of sexual intercourse 1 :heterosexual intercourse involving penetration of the vagina by the penis :coitus 2 :intercourse (such as anal or oral intercourse) that does not involve penetration of the vagina by the penis |

JMAN05: Lmao, I asked you a question on the 3rd of November and you don't answer and you come on the 5th of November and ask me a question and yet I'm the one running away? Be identified as a fraud? what the hell? What do they even teach you in your church? I said it's in your own bible, what will it take to open your bible and check? I'm not your governing body to spoon feed you every information you need that you should have. So since you refused to answer my question for how many days now, are you a fraud? |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 11:01pm On Nov 05, 2017 |
JMAN05: I should answer the question but the one I asked you 2 days ago, no response. I asked you "Why are you allowed to take blood fractions if you're asked to abstain from blood?". You asked where the word pollute was in reference to blood and I showed you, after you insinuated that I was lying, no response on that too. So your next line of action is to jump and ask more questions while ignoring the ones that you can't defend. Using your analogy, I shouldn't take a fraction of indian hemp, right? And by the way its your "proofs". Go and find the old version of your bible and check, I can't do your research for you. |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 7:30pm On Nov 05, 2017 |

Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 9:20am On Nov 05, 2017 |
lovingJehovah: Ahh you're still here? The picture of the watch you said I was lying about, you jumped and passed? Lmaooo. Since God says abstain from blood, why are fractions allowed in your religion? Or will you dodge this question too? |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 9:09am On Nov 05, 2017 |
Peacefullove: Are you being ridiculous on purpose? Where did the bible specify which sex falls under fornication. So since abstain means keep away from blood totally, why does your religion allow blood fractions to be taken? |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 10:16am On Nov 03, 2017 |
JMAN05: 1) Your New world translation had been in print for 52 years with those scriptures inside before they took it out. 2) The bible said do not eat blood. The same leviticus speculates death for adultery, so why don't you kill your members that commit adultery? So now bible laws is not black and white anymore, it's now principles? So answer this please, what principle said you can take blood fractions? 3) I had said before it was in the 2nd to the last paragraph of this link https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200000774 We abstain on that account from things strangled or that die of themselves, that we may not in any way be polluted by blood, even if it is buried in the meat |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 10:09pm On Nov 01, 2017 |
lovingJehovah: lmaoooooooo! what the entire hell? Are you deranged? Did I really hurt you that much, by asking questions or are you just insane? You've just proved my point that everything isn't alright with you at all. So I tell you I don't practice a religion but you're insisting I'm denying my God? If there is one thing I will leave for you is to go and think why a religion you follow permits you to say all those things you've said. About the wristwatch, it was in your jw broadcast of February 2015. Try not to lie and allow emotions to cloud your judgement

lovingJehovah: " My dear, is everything well at home? Because this your write up indicates something deeper is wrong oh. "You're not our toys", "you're not disturbed by what we say", "I have never like you and I probably but at the same time must have made posts disparaging you." Re-read your post and tell me if a sane person will type all of that because I talked about your doctrines that were false and you couldn't even defend. I've had arguments with a catholic friend about some of their doctrines and not once did he make it as an attack on their church and their person. Why does your religion like to act like you're persecuted? You want to know my religion and consider my doctrines to deflect from your own? Lmao, I don't have any religion, oya consider my doctrine. |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 3:53pm On Nov 01, 2017 |
JMAN05: 1) So why were they in your previous bible editions for 52 years and you magically figure out that it wasn't in the old manuscript? So which manuscript did you originally use? And are your religion not guilty of Deut 4:2, 12:32? 2) You don't see my point or you don't want to see my point? I simplified my question as best as I could and even added an illustration. So what part don't you get? How am I attacking God's command? It says do not eat blood. Eating blood and blood transfusion are totally different things. 3) It's in the 2nd to the last paragraph, read it again. I'm sorry but even you know death doesn't equal disfellowshipment. They are 2 totally separate things. so if a person who was disfellowshipped comes back and becomes one of your members, is he now resurrected? In regards to blood representing life, here are links from your own website https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/bible-study/respect-gods-gift-of-life-blood/ In paragraph 10, the first sentenced clearly states Blood is holy to Jehovah because blood represents life https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2004444 It states in in paragraph 4,6 and 10 https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/bible-about-blood-transfusion/ It states this in the last paragraph |

lovingJehovah: wow! What a christian you are. I can bet money that no sane human being on this earth is threatened by the presence of Jehovahs witnesses. People look at you lot, as a cult full of brain washed people with un-Christian flip-flopping doctrines. Or they are just irritated by people who knock on their doors preaching a message they can't successfully defend. |

TheControversy: thank you my dear, I guess when someone is brainwashed, you can't ever make them see it till they decide for themselves. I bet none of them know about Beth-sarim (the mansion that was supposed to house Abraham, Moses, David etc when they resurrected from the dead) where their president used to live while driving a cadilac but they'll look down on other pastors doing the same thing. |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 8:32pm On Oct 31, 2017 |
JMAN05: But many religions do not equal 4,200 religions so till you've compared and contrasted all of them, you can't know for sure if they are wrong or right. In reply to your other points 1) Matthew 23:14 Mark 7:16 Mark 9:44 Mark 9:46 Mark 11:26 Mark 15:28 Mark 16:9-20 Luke 17:36 Luke 23:17 John 5:4 John 7:53 Acts 8:37 Acts 15:34 Acts 24:7 Acts 28:29 Matthew 17:21 Matthew 18:11 John 7:53 - John 8:11 (a whole 12 verses missing) Romans 16:24 2) Okay, your religion says you don't take blood because God said not to and also because blood represents life. If someone needs a blood transfusion to live, you don't take it because of that reason. So you're putting the value of blood above the person's life. If blood represents life, why sacrifice the person's life to respect the blood? It's like me saying an expensive doll represents my child and I have warned everyone not to destroy the doll. My sister then finds out the doll is made of poisonous material and instead of immediately throwing it away to preserve my child's life, she said because I had said no one should touch the doll, she'll let my child potentially die from the effects of the doll. 3) I got it from your own website https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200000774 In lev. 20:10, it says you should kill anyone who commits adultery, do you do that in your church? 1 Like |

saintmark88: haha! Tell me about it, for people that claim to be bible teachers, it's so easy for them to run away from simple questions that make them use their brains. They just rely on what the elders tell them and believe blindly |
Religion / Re: Five Things You Never Knew About Jehovah's Witnesses. by nkembaby008: 8:21pm On Oct 30, 2017 |
atoleybaba: of course, end the conversation and run away. You said it's mandatory for a JW to get the card and yet you say a witness is not forced. It's like saying as a student, it's mandatory you pay school fees but you're not forced. Does that make sense? The fact that the school cannot forcefully collect the school fees doesn't mean it's not compulsory. I should listen to them when I have asked almost 4 of you questions and you all run away? That's the difference between you and I. You've been taught to hate the world and the things in it, to the point that having a normal argument has made you think I hate you and your members. Do better please. 1 Like |
