Must you insult other people's Faith to air your views? Better repent and seek for God's forgiveness. If not, sooner or later you will regret the consequences of your statement. Just an advice.
jeejo:
I don't like the way NOUN is making it compulsory for all graduating students to journey to Abuja ooo

Why can't NOUN send certificates to each of the state study centres for disbursement to graduating students?

Why put the lives of over 20, 000 graduating students at the mercy of Fulani bandits and Islamic terrorists littering all the highways in Nigeria today, all because these graduants have to make a compulsory journey to Abuja for their certificates?

Is it that the state study centres that were entrusted with conducting exams for these students amongst other functions, are not considered worthy of issuing certificates to the same student upon their graduation?

Giving the present insecurity and unreported daily kidnappings and killings of Christians on the Kogi Abuja highway (talk less of the other highways connecting Abuja to Northern Nigeria), why can't NOUN protect the lives of its graduating students by allowing their respective study centres issue them certificates?

Does NOUN think it is all the graduating students that can afford return flight tickets to Abuja?

I understand that some students are super excited of wearing the convocation gown in Abuja during the forthcoming convocation. Some people may even attack me for raising the above concerns. But trust me, if you are a frequent traveler to Abuja through land as of recent, you will understand that forcing over 20,000 graduating students to ply those dangerous highways leading into Abuja just to attend their convocation and collect their certificates is a sign that NOUN cares less about the lives of its students.

I feel sorry for those about to fall victims of the high insecurity in our Nigerian highways. Imagine spending over 4 years working hard to complete your degree program only to get kidnapped, beheaded by boko haram or shot dead on your way to collecting your certificate.

Given the present insecurity in the Nigerian highways, NOUN should please review this compulsory journey of graduating student to Abuja.

Hello, please are you saying we should register the project as exams?

Samisha500:
QUICK REMINDER ON REGISTRATION

Do not forget to register the following on or before the closure date;

A. All carry over courses

B. Seminar

C. Research Project

D. Field Course

Most importantly, please note that each of the listed courses would cost you a thousand or Two thousand (N1,000 UNDERGRADUATE) & (N2,000 POSTGRADUATE) to register any of them as exam.

Also, TMA is coming soon and business plan booking is on-going...

Thank you

This information actually gladdens my heart. I was wondering how can someone complete the required course, passed all his results, just for the school to decide not to include you in the graduation list for no fault of yours. Making you to spend at least an additional year before graduation. Not knowing that, one can get a notification. It's just the certificate and the ceremony that is actually postponed.
My question now is when and how do we make request for the notification?

If you read what he wrote, he means to say there are no other lists to be expected. The updated list, I think, is the combination of all the lists ever released since August 2019 to the newest list in February.

Any other list would be released after the Convocation day, and it would be for those who are to graduate next year, 2021. However, such people can make a request for their notification of results and use that in the Labour market. [/quote]

Good morning house. Last semester I only registered Teaching practice as a course. I didn't do exams registration for it. Could this be the reason why the result is not released? That's the only course I have left in my PGDE

These Orange drugs wahala is three much. Imagine write 2 tests ,3 interviews to secure a job of 55k. There strategy is a failure, they seek to attract leaving the most important elements of motivation and retention to the garbage. Any one who scale through this process is bound to get a better offer else where and leave.

@op whats secret about this recruitment? You think Firs management are as foolish as that? These are applicants who applied during the 2016 recruitment. Every one you see there has his/her application number. If you are not selected in this one, why not wait for your turn instead of raising false alarm.

Going by what is going on pertaining this recruitment exercise, I am inclined to believe that, the actual list of successful candidates for APL is not exactly the same with those who have received text for the documentation. For the simple reason that the text did not specifically mention that and this documentation before APL contrasts with the usual sequence of activities in FCSC recruitment. it took so long to send the message to applicants concerned per state this is probably due to applicants being evaluated based on grade and ministry applied for which will either necessitate the SMS or not. Also, admission to the premises was strictly by showing your SMS. There is a state that only 11applicants were sent texts, which are too few in compliance with Federal character commission .

If you haven't received SMS,don't despair but keep praying.

My opinion anyway.

As sad as my own info might seem, I was equally at the FCSC today from about 8:00am to about 6:00pm when I rounded up and left. Reliably I was told that all shortlisted candidates have been send SMS. If by now u haven't gotten, then it's over. SE, SW, SS, NE, NW and NC all have been invited. I saw guys from all states. Funny enough most of those guys I sensed don't do Nairaland and a few do but don't make comments on the forum. However some who couldn't get the text manage to enter and get a form and filled out and got FC numbers. But don't celebrate yet until u see Appointment Letters cos ur wish might just be a dream. All forms dully filled and submitted must be crosschecked and name match on the list before a letter will be typed for such a fellow.

A Federal Commissioner told me that the highest slot a state can get for a vacancy is 3. One from each Senatorial District. However, that some Commissioners erroneously shortlisted candidates for Ministry's or Parastatals that slot weren't allocated to their respective states and there is nothing they can do about it than to discard such results. So sorry about that.

Hope is not all lost. Strong underground runs is underway shortlisting and compiling names to add to the already invited ones. But the Commissioner emphatically stressed that the slots have not been approved yet. So you may need to get a God Father to step in this matter if not, this recruitment is history now. Good luck and see u guys in the next world. Good night

All you have said can never be the truth. I will substantiate my assertion next week by the grace of God. I have gone through all your posts on this forum and did not see any reason for you to claim that you were at Fcsc 8 to 6, If that's the case, then you must have written this trash out of frustration and disappointment, which is wrong to be vented here killing people's hope. we shall see by next week God willing

I cannot imagine, in this era of ICT advancemet, it is taking the FCSC days just to send an Sms to chosen candidates. This is shameful disgrace to the commission and we can now undrrstand why the civil service has remain inefficient. May God save our young graduates going into the system from contacting this attitude, amin

Guys, if really the text message is true, then the recruitment must have been officially concluded. Your fate as destned by God Almighty is lying in the hands of the commissioner. I think it will be a good idea for the expecting candidates to visit the commisioners house during this sallah break to check your names. Good luck to you all
