Religion / Finding A Church With No Membership By Tithing? by nwatch: 4:51am On Oct 01, 2015
Hi guys,

I have been told that if i want to network i have to go back to church as the church is the only place where most Nigerians gather.

But the problem is I don't want a church where tithing is the only way to membership or something like that. And where I will not be reminded 24/7 that if I rob god I will be screwed.

Any recommendation will be appreciated. I am looking at Lagos,PH and Abuja.
Education / Re: My Accent Is Affecting Me Acedemically, pls Help!!! by nwatch: 2:39am On Sep 27, 2015
If you are truly worried about your ascent then you have to take serious oral English classes or ascent neutralization course(something like that).I don't know where the later is offered in Nigeria but in most developed countries there are places where you can learn any language including the associated ascents.

The most important advise I will give you is to accept your ascent. I have an ascent as well and I'm working in an office dominated by foreigners and they don't have problem with it. The most important thing is your skill and the idea you are trying to communicate.

Speak slowly if you are speaking to non-Nigerians, context is very important to help your audience. Don't fight what you have, there are many Chinese in Google who still call RICE LICE and LICE RICE....Just like Anambra people...and boy they are well paid. make I no even talk Indians, those ones... you need special amplifier to understand them..but yet they are well paid overseas.

Everyone has an ascent, but we have been indoctrinated to think that na only oyinbo ascent is acceptable.Trust me there are some white chicks who'd date you just because of that.

Stay positive and f**k shyness.
Religion / Re: As A Devoted Christian Should She Study Islamic Studies In The University? by nwatch: 1:28pm On Sep 13, 2015
I have attended an Islamic class while studying overseas and it was mostly about the history of Islam and the Quran. There were other Christians in the class and we were open to share our views. Some of the Muslims classmates were really sensitive and others were really cool- I was mostly impressed by 2 brothers from Yemen who were the most open minded Muslims I have come in contact with.

We did a project on the contribution of Islam in the science world, Abortion in Islam and the racism against Muslims propagated by the media.

I will encourage any devoted Christian to take an Islamic study course, you will learn alot about them and you will appreciate a Muslim after interacting with them with an open mind. You have no right to judge and it will do you good to be open minded.

If you have a problem exchanging ideas with people of other cultures and religion, then you have no business going to school. If you can not question what you believe then you are not really a Christian and you have not experience Christ-most Nigerian Christians fall into this category like the person posting this.

If you convert to Islam after attending a Islamic study class, it shows you are human indeed and you are an independent thinker-your pastor or society cannot control you. A christian who can not stand the opinions of others is no christian at all or you are an immature spiritual retard.

I will do business with a Muslim any day than a Nigerian christian.Don't take it personal, I am writing from my experience growing up in the church.

Please take the class and you will not regret it. Hopefully, the lecturer is well rounded and not the stupid, egotist average Nigerian lecturer.

Politics / Re: ''This May Be Why Jonathan Couldn’t End Boko Haram Insurgency'' by nwatch: 11:50am On Sep 07, 2015
Chinese investment in Nigeria During GEJ time was the sole reason the west turned its back. Now we go back to them for help and we no longer hear news of China in Nigeria.

Well Buhari is wise, but Nigeria is too divided to go anywhere.
Religion / Re: Anambra Pastor Burns The Ukolo Uga Shrine... (Photo) by nwatch: 2:38am On Aug 14, 2015

All those posters above me condemning d man no get common sense...the man is saving a lot of people from ancestral demonic holds

from ancestral demonic hold to white-man demonic hold. Which one is worse. IF that shrine is more than 50 years old then this is a stupid thing to do.

These are things people pay to see in Asia and most tourist dependent countries. Don't try this where i come from because i will take the pastor to court for destroying history and a potential income source.

Again our problem is not ancestral curses because they don't exist, but wickedness, ignorance and greed.

Even if we start sacrificing 100 humans per day in the next 200 years we will never reach the number of crimes and brutality committed by the west in Africa alone. Are they cursed or blessed?

We give testimonies in church for getting a 2 weeks visa to visit america a country built on slavery and wickedness. And yet when we come back home we still talk about generational curses. generational curses for wetin we do?

Don't get me wrong, identify with all the western countries who god will never punish for their sins-Na only africa god see to punish..stuupid religious idiots everywhere in nigeria.

Religion / Re: Prayers That Break Curses And Destroys Ancestral Spirits. by nwatch: 11:47am On Jul 26, 2015
Atlantian:
Please dont destroy our ancestral spirits. Christianity is imported religion. I prefer our ancestral spirits to these foreign spirits.

Nobody can destroy our ancestral spirits-you cannot even kill a spirit in the first place not even demons.

No amount of prayer can save cursed souls full of shi*ts and epitomes of ignorance like Nigerian Christians. We have been binding devil since 1900 and yet look at Nigeria. We do land cleansing and poverty is everywhere in the land and while we pray our politicians are sapping us dry and we are always quick to sell our future to vote for stupid leaders.

And don't say we are suffering because of our sins! The world most developed minds are not Christians and they don't believe God for healing from Malaria because it doesn't exist where they live.

Any day you wake and typhoid and Malaria are considered rare disease in Nigeria then i will start praying for my own deliverance-stupid and cursed Nigerian Christians.

Man's worst curse is ignorance!

Politics / Re: America Has Refused To Sell Weapons To Buhari by nwatch: 11:55am On Jul 23, 2015
And they don't apply this rule to ISRAEL. The Leahy law is weak and it is only used as stupid diplomatic weapon on countries like nigeria.

We can form other allies-America borrows from China and yet we always run to America for help. Ask for help from other developing country who once had issues like these-Singapore,China,Malaysia,Thailand and other quiet Eastern European countries.

I am yet to benefit or see what American has done on nigerian soil.
