You're Absolutely correct..I unknowingly ran into a bump around College road which affected either the radiator/or plastic beside(Civic). On getting to stadium(Teslim Balogun) car started over heating, surprisingly a guy parked and asked if I needed water. After 5mins another guys parked and asked if the water is enough (he eventually dropped his bootle water)..

I was astonished

Wow
I am happy to hear this.
Some people would have asked for birth certificate, drivers license, proof of ownership,
Police report,etc. grin

Gazzuz, blackbishop, radautoworks and all the gurus in da house. I drive Chevrolet optra 07, the car has started cutting timing belt. And whenever that happens, it bends some of the valves and that's expensive so repair. The thing is frustrating that I'm considering selling the car. As a matter of fact, it's cut trice for the past one month. Just yesterday, I opened the compartment that houses the timing belt, only to discover that the belt is turn already and about to snap. Help!

The engine/ compressor or whatever that houses the belt is unstable.
You might need to re-thread or something.

My thoughts.

Moove or no Moove its still a welcome development to all drivers.

Uber still far better than Bolt.

Cancellation fee, and their
N11/min

Haven't you realised that Uber is gradually having more riders since Moove came onboard? Let's stop the hating. These are people that see prospect in the business so weather they like let them roll out 2020 cars for transport its nobody's business provided they didn't complain to anyone.

You must not talk on every topic. Having more riders bawo

That owner is very greedy. He can't demand 1m outright

If Driver has actually paid up to 3 fifth of the payment, he cannot just retrieve the car, he need to visit the court.

HP has a law in Nigeria guiding HP transactions.

Just as lagos state house rent law, you must draft an agreement with what the law stipulates.

I can assist you in 2 ways.

Option 1:

Send a copy of the hp agreement.

I will reach out to my lawyer for briefing. If lawyer says we have a chance in court, then we go court, if you win, you refund me the legal fee.

Option 2:

Pay the 2 months money, you're owning, then you refund me 10k weekly.

Thumbs up for you @jpworld.
This is the kind of input I like and want from you.
Thank you. grin

Please i need everyone's opinion on this issue; a friend brought it to me and i need your help please.

A friend of mine is on HP, 2007 Corolla for 2.5 million naira for 2 years. Car was naija used, but very clean, just about 4 month registered.

14 month gone and he has paid about 1.3 million; he had an accident two month ago with the car.

Fortunately, the car was comprehensively insured by the driver (Please note that it was a 3rd party that was done by owner) but the driver insisted that comprehensive is best for HP, so the driver used his own personal money to fully insure the vehicle. All repairs was done by insurance, car was even painted.

It took insurance 7 weeks to repair the vehicle, but immediately the car was fixed, the owner just seized it that he's no longer interested in HP, and that the driver should pay 1 million and take the car; because he will be travelling soon. My guy is totally confused, he cant raised such amount and car is still with owner. My friend is afraid owner might sell and japa, since he wants to travel out of the country. Please, i need your advice, not just from the point of driver, also from owner's perspective. Please help!

Nairaland lawyers where are thou?
Jpworld abeg come flex muscle here please.
No shades o @jpworld thank you.

So I got a trip from kpako to ikorodu this morning around 10am or so on a 1.7 surge so I went ahead with it.. ended trip and surprisingly got a trip from there (around holy Gabriel temple)to bariga..
We spent almost 2 hours on that trip.
Ended it and the girl who her boyfriend ordered for us telling me the fare cannot be 3350(fare was actually 3850 but for discount) , that she takes that trip and it’s never close to that amount. I told her to take it with bolt only for the stupid bf to call and was asking me for fare review. That I manipulated the gps..
I changed it for the guy and he sent me this.
Telling me that my mates are stealing good money and I am stealing 1ks... e pain me. But I no blame am.
I go sha report am.

Bolt riders and headache are cousins.

Rider: Noooo, we r going to sango. Me: hmmmm. .. I start saying nam! Nam!! Like those Arab guys, told them I can only to Abule Felicity, anything outside that, they have to get another ride.
Last time it was amuwo odofin, I already started the trip so I didn’t have a choice. Luckily for me I gotta trip out of there back to civilization. That’s when I vowed to always ask especially those destination trips.
If it were bolt, I wouldn’t even worry.
