First, whats your level of intimacy with God. You first need to spend time in your closet. Spend 3 nights,, anything from 12 mid night to 3 am, pray for minimum 15 minutes asking God rekindle your love for him and reveal himself to you afresh

Politics / Re: Rivers LP Governorship Candidate, Fafaa Dan Princewill Cautions Against Violence by Nzeh12(m): 5:21pm On Mar 06, 2023

Fafaa Dan Princewill of the Labour Party has urged indigenes and residents of Rivers State to come out en masse to vote on March 11, 2023, stressing that the people must be vigilant to defend their votes at the governorship poll.

The Rivers people will not vote for “any anti-democrat who will yield gangster government,” Princewill said.

Speaking with journalists yesterday in Port Harcourt, the LP chieftain condemned what he described as anti-democratic posture of some politicians, and wondered why the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reneged on obeying the Electoral Act which duly enshrined electronic transmission of results.
He said Rivers people must put an end to the loss of young lives in the state, adding that electoral violence has no place in a decent society and noting that LP is a party for the hope of the present and future generations.

“We believed INEC but what we saw was different, the records are there. Everyone is aware. Even the international community has testified that the election did not meet the expectations of Nigerians.”

“The BVAS is for both accreditation and uploading of results. That’s what the Electoral Act says but unfortunately that did not happen.

“I believe the next election will be different. I want to encourage everyone not to despair. Please, come out and vote massively for LP on March 11th; take pictures of the result sheets, your phone is now your power, record every activity around the polling units. If you don’t come out to vote, you have already voted for the wrong people. Don’t take the election as passing fancy, make sure you vote and defend your vote.”

“We must put an end to violence in Rivers State. Electoral violence has no place in a sane society, we must have a new beginning. Labour is a party for the future and party for today. Young people are the future, so you have to survive today to think of the future.  We are tired of suffering in this country.

“I am the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Rivers State and I want everybody to come out and vote for Labour. Vote for a new beginning in Rivers State.”

Family / Re: Is It A Crime To Admit That Your Spouse Is Older Than You? (my Story) by Nzeh12(m): 6:25pm On Aug 30, 2022
Gosh234:
I will go straight to the point and make this brief. Recall this thread https://www.nairaland.com/6990203/should-marry
On March this year I got a job as ICT officer in a firm which made me move to Lagos ,we are super excited about this development and everything working out fine (No relationship is perfect, understanding kept us going)

I served in a university, towards completion of my service year, I accomodated a guy who got to know about us
One day we were in a arguement of dating or marrying someone older than you.
I stood my ground that I can marry irrespective of age, provided it is what I want
The guy came to conclusion that it seems my spouse is older than me, we laughed over it (That ends it)

Secondly my friend Davidson that live in the same compound who is done with his studies, working while waiting on NYSC.
I told him about my woman , how I love her and ready to settle down as soon as things go as planned for me (he have seen her visited once but they never met)
He asked me if she work, I told him
He asked of her age, I JUST TOLD HIM THAT SHE IS A BIT OLDER THA ME.

While discussing with my woman last night , I was assuring her how much I love her irrespective of anything then I pointed out the two above incidence
To my greatest surprise she became angry eith me
In her words
a) She detest dating underage, how she found herself in this mess she can't tell

b) I should go ahead and tell my mum and elder brother (they just talk via phone) and even all my friends

c) I make her look desperate, that she is loosing interest already

d) I insulted her and she can't trust me again

NOTE
a) I promised her that no one will know of the age difference even if they know she is older

b) I never mentioned her age to these people or the age gap

My crime is that I admitted that she is older and I am proud and love her wholeheartedly

I don't see this working out again
I feel so belittled
Gosh

Naturally, women dont feel comfortable with you telling people about this, they just want it to be between you 2.

My wife is older by 2 years and some months, my parents know but didnt like it at first till they met her. My parents now tell people age doesn't really matter. No body in her family knows tho. She wasn't comfortable at first, but I knew what I wanted and convinced her that it wasn't an issue to me, she just had to make sure it wasnt an issue to her. We both agreed that the age thing will not be a factor in the marriage, and today we have been able to manage it and it has never been an issue.

Discuss it and know you're ready, no matter the outcome. She might age faster than you, can you accommodate that? If she isn't the submissive type, then she might use the age against you.

Health / Re: Help!! My Life Is Being Destroyed By Drug Addition. by Nzeh12(m): 3:05pm On May 20, 2022
Jashub:
My brother, if you love yourself and your life, you will listen to the advice I have to give you , especially as people here will be shouting "rehabilitation " as if it is a permanent solution.

And if you want to argue this , let me tell you categorically that drug addiction is not something people easily recover from on their own effort. In fact , I have seen many cases of people who have gone through rehab over 5 times and still ended up dead or worse off from drug overdose. A fine example would be the late Whitney Houston cry)

So enough of this digression, let's get to the solution:

1.Go on your knees(now) and repent from all sins you have committed knowingly and unknowingly asking Jesus to help you .

2. Go and get yourself a bible

3 .Make it a habit of being prayerful, especially during the time when the urge comes upon you.

4. Find bible-believing people to share your case with and if possible, get closer to them through sincerity and repentance

5 . People will mock you , hear me again , people will mock you and doubt your sincerity, but ignore them and keep your eye and trust on God and He will surely deliver you.

Peace

People will undermine this solution, but trust me, this is your best option.
This generation is too intelligent to believe God's ways

Bros if she’s still friends with your sister, ask her opinion on the subject. Your sister knows her too well.

You shouldn’t be harboring such past in your heart na, e be like say you never know women oh, a woman can love you and still do the things that lady did. Women head dey touch.

Also, take out time to make sure it’s not just because she wants to marry that’s why she’s on your case.

Lastly, have you ever thought of spending time with God in prayer and fasting for divine guidance in search for a life partner? If not, please do
Family / Re: I Cause Pain To A Lot Of People by Nzeh12(m): 7:20pm On May 22, 2020
Sis, just continue in your new path and try to join a Bible believing church as it's important that you fellowship with other Christians to help build your faith more.
Keep trying to reach your family, and just watch how God will turn up for you in no time.
Trust me, very shortly you'll testify. People like you become role models in future, don't give in to any temptation to go back to your old ways, I beg you in the name of God

We will never be ready to move on from the old order of things if we don't start from somewhere. Fela might not win his LGA, but he's sowing his little seed to a real democratic system where we can begin to elect young deplomats into elective positions just like France did Macrom.

But here's Deji who says he's fighting for democracy discrediting someone's effort. I respect Deji's social media campaign against this government, he should also respect other people's effort, except he's not a neutral activist.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Has The Best Power Sector Reforms Law In The World- Olawepo Hashim by Nzeh12(m): 7:37am On Oct 17, 2018
This man isn't the Presidential candidate of ANN, he is the candidate of People's Trust
Politics / Re: Fela Durotoye Is A.n.n Presidential Candidate Not Olawepo Gbenga Hashim by Nzeh12(m): 7:49am On Oct 04, 2018
Let me see if I can explain this thing to people who are ready to listen.

ANN had it's presidential primary on Saturday. Hashim withdrew from the presidential race on the Friday before the election leaving Fela Durotoye as the only candidate.

On Sunday we started seeing news that Fela Durotoye collected 750 million niara from APC to destabilize ANN, but if you know Fela Durotoye, that's a lie. The party he is supposed to be destabilizing is strongly behind him.

On Wednesday we had false news that ANN was holding it's primary, then news emerged that Gbenga Hashim won the primary. Big lie to destabilize ANN. Una be Nigerians and una suppose know how our political system dey work na.

ANN have adopted Fela as it's candidate, but People from opposition party are peddling rumors on social media that Hashim is the party's candidate. ANN is one house, it has spoken, Fela is it's candidate.

I know this because I'm a card carrying member of the party.

ameri9ja:

Today's Nigerian youth ARE lazy.
All they want to do is leave the country. Compare to youth of past. Those who fought for independence were in there 20's and 30's except Zik (early 40's). Gowon, Murtala, Obj, Bubu, Danjuma, Ojukwu, etc were all in their 20's and early 30's.

I hate it when people make this comparison.
This names you just called were aided by factors around them to reach those heights. Shey Bubu, danjuma and Co we're at home when they enrolled them into the army, Nigeria paid for their oversee trainings, they grew in ranks and got power through coup.

As for today's youth, you'll write jamb 3 times before entering school, no standard education, if you don't sort some courses, you fail. when you manage to graduate, you'll spend another period hunting for jobs. Society gives today's youth no assistance, no break and no time. Yet you see youths making waves at all cost and you come here to say today's youths are lazy
