Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Urgent Please Advise: Sweden Master Or Monthly 62k Job In Nigeria by Nzeribe: 8:20pm On Jun 05, 2007 |
My guy , u can eat your cake and have it , U can apply for the Visa, making sure you satisfy all the requirements , i mean all your documents and still keep on with your job until you get a Visa approval to travel. That way, if anythin goes wrong with the Visa application which i pray not, u can still go on with your job, after all, nothin to loose. But not to pursue ur Visa to Sweden will be a punch to yourself. My brother, make we no lie , opportunities dey side of the world. Dont be deceived by stories of immigration horror you read in the papers, you will be a legal immigrant. Over to you and good luck ! |

Jobs/Vacancies / That Interview And Your Conduct : Read ! by Nzeribe: 2:03pm On Feb 13, 2007 |
Fellow Job seekers, i felt it will be really good and important to share this recent experience of mine with you. I went for a job interview last week for the position of Sales/Marketing in one of the conglomrates that has a FMCG division. The offer sounded promising though. As usual for interviews, i prepared really well. I read the company profile form the net as well as getting useful interview tips online. I went to the interview armed with all that i got online about the organisation and my experience and skills. The interview went on fine and i nedeed not be told that i did really well as i saw the look of approval on the faces of the panelists. I was so sure of moving to the next stage of the interview ( Management Interview). At the end of the interview, we (3 of us at a time) were told we will be contacted shortly. So , i stood from my seat, thanked the panelists and offered a warm and friendly handshake. My contact in the organisation later called me in the evening of the same day that i really did brilliantly well and that my performance was impressive and she had no cause to lobby for me to be pushed to the next level. However, i was disqualified by the Panelists simply because i offered them a handshake when i was leaving. It sounded strange to me considering the fact that i was only trying to be pleasant and gentlemanly. Abi, is it unNigerian to do that ? Afterall, that was what i read in the online tips i got on the net. Too bad, i lost the job but i have decided to move on. I guess it wasnt meant to be, 'cos if it was, they wont give a reason as shallow as that. I know i will get something bigger and better soonest. |

Jobs/Vacancies / Diamond Bank Application Form by Nzeribe: 7:50am On Jan 10, 2007 |
It's been quite difficult applying for the diamond bank management trainee position. The server does not come up after several attempts. This is more like a technical difficulty. Please, anyone with an idea of how to successfully apply for this job should kindly speak up. Thanks. |

Jobs/Vacancies / Intercontinental Bank Test// Organisation Okay But : by Nzeribe: 7:26pm On Oct 08, 2006 |
The organisation and administering of the Intercontinental bank test on Sat 7th Oct, 2006 was just okay and not all that bad.I wrote my test in the morning and it was just a well organised exercise as everything went well even the accreditation.Though, the turn out was massive, candidates for the morning set were able to conduct themselves in orderly manners. It wasnt so for those in the afternoon set as most were rather in a hurry to get things done and disregarded simple instructions.Of course, you will expect a stampede when everyone is trying to do the same thing at the same time.If only the candidates conducted themselves, the exercise would have worth the while as the coordinators promised to attend to everyone including gate crashers, who oftentimes are trouble makers. |
