obedience4: If the Russians had launched the SMO in 2014, we wouldn't be having this argument as the Russians would've have probably steamrolled through Ukraine. The west clearly learnt from the mistake with Georgia during the 2008 Russo-Georgian war, hence the large amount of funding, trying, weapons, ammo, Intel, etc poured into Ukraine. The Ukrainian military of 2022 was, hands down, a totally different beast that could EASILY rival some NATO forces in Europe. To add to that, it is ACTIVELY backed by the USA, UK, and co. Now THAT is what the Russians are fighting, not some 3rd world crippled military/militias usually faced/bullied around by a US-led coalition. And you know what? The Russians made initial advances, faltered, quietly learnt from mistakes, ADAPTED, and are now kicking a$$ in Ukraine. So you can wake up to reality on ground, OR continue to bury your head in the sand because Hollywood, Gen. Petreaus and co told you Ukraine is "winning". But hey, whatever makes you sleep easy. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Gbadebo19: You mentioning Georgia clearly shows a lack of understanding on your part. If you had followed or read about the 2007/8 Munich Security meeting, especially Putin's warning during his speech, followed by the 2008 Russo-Georgian war that followed, then I doubt you would've arrived at your conclusions. Btw on the 2008 war, Georgia's Sakaarsvili, emboldened by the Bush Jnr Administration, instigated that war by first launching Ossentia and Abkhazia. Then they got the Russians involved by launching strikes on Russian PEACEKEEPERS, hence the a$$whooping and mental breakdown/tie-chewing that followed courtesy of the Russian Armed Forces. I guess you "forgot" that part, or failed to read about it.....right? 9 Likes 2 Shares |

obedience4: The Russians are fighting a new peer adversary backed up by a military alliance of 30+ rich & powerful countries supplying said adversary with tonnes of funding, weapons, training, intelligence, etc. When last did the collective west face that? Last time they faced some sandal-wearing goat herders in Afghanistan, they (NATO-ISAF) lost in the most humiliating way. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Gbadebo19: What a pile of horse poopoo. What folks like you need to understand is that the Era of the USSR is OVER. The Russian Federation is NOT the USSR. With it's massive and resource-rich landmass, why will the Russian Federation be interested in retaking Lithuania or any Baltic nation? It makes ZERO SENSE. This whole "empire rebuilding" coming from the west, especially from the small Baltic countries came up just after the 2022 invasion. What the west refuses to understand is that the Russian Federation is only interested in a single issue that has been the sole cause of this whole mess, and that is NATO's eastward expansion, hence Russia's reaction after DECADES of warnings that went unheeded. 4 Likes 1 Share |

1. Russia is already engaged in an SMO against NATO backed Ukraine. Btw, its advancing in that war. 2. It makes no sense to fight for a country/govt whose military were unwilling to fight. It's just an absolute waste of time. 1 Like |

Creamypie: 2 questions: 1. You're aware the Russians have an ongoing SMO, right? 2. Why will the Russians fight for an ally that won't even fight for themselves? The Russians provided air power, but that won't do jackshyte without a ground force. Come to think of it, how come the USA & NATO-ISAF didn't fight for the defunct Afghan Govt when the Taliban were approaching the gates of Kabul? Curious.. |

On the Syrian matter, I have to ask....where is the once-vaunted Syrian Republican Guard that kept the Syrian rebel groups at bay before help arrived during the early years of the civil war? Why didn't Assad entrust the front lines to them rather than the SAA. Btw what happens to Latakia & the Tartus Naval base? Will Russia still hold on to the base and tge region like tge Americans at the North East region & oilfield? Anyway, this is a major shocker. 3 Likes |

Ready2speak: Actually it's real. The slain individual was part of a Ukrainian DGR intercepted by the Russian FSB in Bryansk. That said, I don't think he's Navy Seal because he has a "Ranger" tattoo. So I think US Army 75th Ranger Battalion or maybe ex Green Beret (SFOD-Alpha,). |

ruggedtimi: Different kettle of fish. This is Iran, and tge distance to be covered quite high. I equally have doubts that 100 birds were used. There's absolutely no way such a huge strike package would've been concealed. Then again I may be wrong and we don't know. I definitely concure that everyone wait till more info on the Isreali strikes are released. |
