Major-General Leo Irabor has revealed that Nigerian troops have inthe last eight days arrested 1400 civilians as they move to end the Boko Haram insurgence in the northeast.

The commander of the ongoing counter insurgency operation made this known during a weekly briefing on the activities of the Nigerian military in the six states of northeast Nigeria.The figure brings the number of suspects arrested by the Nigeria troops,within two weeks, to about 2700.

Premium times reports that on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, Irabor had at the same weekly briefing said that troops arrested 1,240 Boko Haram suspects following the fall of Sambisa forest.The suspects were not paraded before the media, as top military officials said doing so may jeopardize ongoing investigations.

Army takes Boko Haram war to another level, 1400 suspects arrested it was not clear what they were accused of.Irabor said troops have cleared many villages in Borno and Yobe States, following the fall of Sambisa Forest.

The commander said “a total of 1,400 civilians were arrested by our troops during all our operations conducted between 28 December 2016 – 4 January, 2017”.He said a couple of top Boko Haram insurgents, including kidnappers, have been arrested within the periodunder review.

rabor also said that troops had on December 29, 2016 carried out an ambush attack on Boko Haram fighters at a village called Rann, killing 15 of the insurgents.He said four soldiers were wounded during the gun battle.

He said troops successfully reopened the Maiduguri-Gubio-Damasak Road on December 25, 2016, which allowed displaced residents of Damasak border town to return to their communities, eitherfrom Maiduguri or from border communities in Niger Republic.

Meanwhile, troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued another one of the more than 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram insurgents in 2014.

According to the report, the girl was rescued with her baby near Sambisa Forest. The rescue was made by troops of the 27 Brigade of the Nigerian Army around Alagarno near Ajigin in Damboa local government area of Borno state.

Rakiya makes the 29th Chibok girl rescued out of the more than 200 girls abducted. by Islamist Boko Haram fighters in April 2014 while preparing for their secondary school examinations.

Megachoice has some of its channels( precisely 9) currently airing as FTA. I don't know if and when they would scramble the channels. Talking about which is better then you've got to compare eutelsat 16A, which hosts Megachoice, Consat and MyTv and Astra 28.2,, which hosts multitv . For entertainment multitv has got the lead, a lot of channels on multi show good foreign movies. For news lover, I think Eutelsat 16E is the bomb, with the presence of aljazeera, DW , France24, CCTV news all airing with English. For sports, its quite close, but I will still give it to Eutelsat 16E. Fox Sports 1& 2 are still free on 16E. There is also New world sports 1, Stadafric.There are some other stations on 16E that show matches as live or delayed, while multi tv has got just max tv Ghana for sports, TV3 has lost it's EPL fta right.

I have always wanted to try mbc on 7w with 60cm so as to violate what we've been made to believe. I was fortunate like an hour ago when i decided to try it out, in less than 15min using the tp that we all know mbc was dancing on my tv. Though not stable initially with signal dancing btw 48% & 46% but with little adjustment of lnb, i was able to get 50% stable and my mbc is ok. nb: I got all nw-african beam tp
note: lnb cover is removed and skew is slightly above 9pm. I use Q28g. location: Ibadan

i removed my 1meter dish that is working on mbc and placed it in the same line and scanned mbc for 2 days and no signal. I used 11474 and 11560 v 27500. Which i used in tracking it b4 and no sign. ABEG MY PEOPLE WETIN BE MY CRIME . Help i need advice before i injure that dish o:-(

TODAY NOT A GOOD DAY FOR TRACKING . ALL EFFORTS TO NAIL MBC @7w . And AFN @9e WAS NEGETIVE. Here at badagry. Am sad now:-(

I tracked AFN today after hours inside hot sun I later nail it but all I'm getting there are sports, spectron, Atlantic, slate, sportsHD etc all I was expecting to see are AFN prime, AFN movies etc my signal quality is 54%.what am I doing wrong.

like its from the producer becos i saw a massage from either strong or mytv apologising to user of that 4675 for the incovinience. But a software is out to repair that . I guess u should check their website. Mytv or strong
