@spy360,..The strong 4955series do hardly feel the effects of power surges....the worse outcome is a damaged power adaptor, check if power adaptor is working.. Had similar situation, thought box was dead but was able to restart it through PC software update....(quite delicate process)

@manirBK talking about M series thats M1 to M6 i could not get them when i tracked 9e with 1m in lagos. Could it be lnb or setting from dish? Becos all other afn channels came out only the M series channels refused to show

Hello everyone, there are a lot of ku Lnb including the older strong type that do not have the required strength to achieve our tracking desire. They may bring down only stronger TPs .on a particular satellite whiles leaving out the weaker Tps...in addition to the newer strong ku lnb, there is also a black Q- sat lnb on the market that is also working fine ( good strength)...

does this Q-sat lnb bring down 9e with 1meter dish and display channels like M 1 to M5?
