Nairaland / General / Carry Go Day In Support Of Tinubu/shittima And Others by Ogun4all(m): 5:25am On Jan 23, 2023 |
CARRYGO AND CARRYGO DAY 2022; A BIG BARREL FULL OF SUBSTANCE ... Oguns4all... Each time I attempt to write about Honourable Dr. Oladipupo Okeyomi's personality -His activities and attitude towards humanity, it has been often, perhaps, seemingly a tale of fantasized quest for Holy Pilgrimage. Although, his uncommon track records of good deeds are, without doubt, a catalogue of activities not alien to all, even to his sworn enemies and cynics both in and outside politics. More so, to the conscienceless bad bellied overbearing elements in the neighbourhood. Still, CARRY GO'S activities have always been tales description of a man with refined heart of gold towards all. He's a personality of down to earth humane character and humbleness. A man of equity, justice and unparalleled straight forth. Dr. Okeyomi is a man with no social stratification or special treatment for people but love for egalitarianism as his trademark. In as much as I would not attempt to exhume the dead past, though there, embedded "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" so, the wisdom too, in the adage "Let The Sleeping Dog Lies" subsequently, the need not be, to reawaken the "sleeping dog". Still, memory is a "funny being" a conjoined twins of history. Therefore, every well functional memory awakes history, more often triggers the urge to purge off the rotten swallowed insults of the past. This has made it increasingly imperative to call for some clarifications of the term "politicians", that, if everyone could do thorough search of his conscience in the interest of the people. It is no doubt that, the bulk of sufferings ravaging our country today is the making of the political class -The politicians of ijekuje-ism and bamubamu nimoyoism. Honourable Dr. Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi CARRYGO by ways of his social conviction, political commitment and philanthropic activities, among others, is wholesomely a true leader -HOPE OF THE MASSES. Having established himself as a pillar of strength which could be lean on, lean on and lean on.... Although, I am very conscious of the fact that I can only touch on the very fringes of his numerous philanthropic activities, a way he has chosen to uplifting the less privileged in our society. More often, it has been established, that CARRY GO, like most of us, was not born with silver spoon, but with wooden hard spoon in his mouth. A rugged, stubborn rural boy who took to boxing as a hobby at the early stages of his formative years. Later became a Lagos street boy (Idi-Oro - Alamutu - Baba Olosha - Mushin) the Rainbow/Jebako Cinema slum dwellers boy, so to say. Once a quarry stone crusher, a bus conductor and bakery errand boy. Young Dipo had walked through the wilderness, the thick forest of this world, passing through lion den and other ferocious animals, swam through the oceans of sharks and submarine beasts. He had trekked the narrow slippery paths, stumbled over times upon rubbles and rocky pebbles but remained resolute, undeterred never wobbled and fumbled in forging ahead, linking the paths to a successful adulthood. In spite of his success stories; the difficulties experienced, furthering through, perseverance, he set out himself on pilgrimage of lifting up others, giving succour to the less privileged. CARRY GO never took to leadership traits of alienation from his humble beginnings. He never envisioned isolating himself from the people -the common man. Hence the birth of his NGO The Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI) and CAFI-HOPE EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION with core values and mission statement "Helping the less privileged, Supporting members' aspirations and Promoting Good Governance" With members, in almost the 36 States and the FCT, Abuja Nigeria and abroad, numerous people have had the privileges and opportunities of being empowered with cash grants and working tools and equipment to enhancing their trade for economic sustainability and survival. CAFI scholarship scheme continue to be of benefit to indigent students and their families. CARRYGO DAY2022 The annual CARRYGO DAY Celebration has become a platform of glory and rewarding experience. Still, from last year edition, allocation of free parcels of land to individual beneficiary continued during the 9th edition (22/12/2022) with certificate of ownership given out. Among the working tools/equipment distributed (courtesy; Dr. Yomi Sholoye) were; Welding machines, Sewing machines, Grinding machines, Scaling machines, Agro water pumps/sprayer and so on. More so, it was an event of merriment amidst pomp gallery -a gala night of sort. Honourable Dr. Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi is a philanthropist "per excellence" few politicians, in modern time fit in that category. CARRY GO continues in the tradition of the likes of Late MKO Abiola, with heart of giving with love, irrespective of race, nationality, gender or social status. As a politician, CARRY GO is astute and polished, loyal party man and unapologetically, political son of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola. The Honourable Minister Of Interior, Federal Republic Of Nigeria, once referred to CARRY GO as "A TRUSTED AND DEPENDABLE PROTÉGÉ. As a good father would do to his darling son of whom he is pleased; The Honourable Minister, on Saturday, 24th of December, 2022, out of his busy schedule, made a courtesy visit to CARRY GO'S mansion, City Star Estate, Ojokoro LCDA, (Ifako Ijaiye LGA) Lagos State. As a son of an evangelist -Baba Aladura, Dipo had a background which reflected a home of highest Divine authorities. As an evangelist himself, Honourable Dr. Okeyomi's characters and dispositions continue to reflect the origin and patterns of true Christendom. His association with the church and notable evangelists and Christ Ambassadors like Dr. YOMI SHOLOYE, the Iya Adura General Of The Cherubim And Seraphim Worldwide is noteworthy. The courtesy visit by Dr. Sholoye to CARRY GO'S mansion on Christmas eve but one, (23/12/2021) was significant both spiritually and temporal. CARRY GO DAY2022, also witnessed Her Grace attendance. It worthy to note too, that the free working tools and equipment distributed were courtesy of Her Eminence.... Dr. YOMI SHOLOYE.... To this point, it would be impossible for me to recount in full details, of CARRY GO'S accomplishments here.... Nevertheless, Dr. Oladipupo Babatunde Okeyomi (CARRY GO) remains "A BIG BARREL FULL OF SUBSTANCE" If your opinion is in the negative, show me your friends.

ANGRY AND HUNGRY SERVANTS! Good day sir and kudos to you towards your efforts to better the life of every civil and public servants. But it quite unfortunate that the level of corruption is increasing in some MDA's under your watch despite your fight against corruption. 1) Promotion arrears has not been paid as 2017 budgeted year is ending and some of us had been promoted twice now without arrears even the promoted salary level not yet effected for for some. 2) Officers or personnels with HND on grade level 7,6 downward that had HND on or before appointment letters has not been elevated to grade level 8 as directed; "All HND holders should be upgraded to level 08" as to close the gap and end the dichotomy between B.sc and HND for effective work force among all, especially the uniform's officers in the ministry of Interior (NSCDC). 3) All of us in level 8 were not allowed to write promotion exams when some had spent 7 to 10 years on the rank as against Public Service Rules (PSR), Federal Character or any ACTS while others had been promoted twice. Also,we have been short paid all these while until the introduction of the compulsory IPPIS for staff that just exposed all even though we have not yet paid through the system but with the information during processing and your calm that over 120 billion had been save through eliminating ghost workers. There has been a disparity between holders of the two academic qualifications in the civil service. At entry point, degree holders are usually a notch higher on the grade level than their diploma-holding counterparts. In a statement issued on Thursday, Abubakar Magaji, permanent secretary of the minister of interior, said Abdulrahman Dambazau, the minister, had approved the regularisation of “the dichotomy between holders of university degrees and higher national diploma in all the services”. “The civil defence, fire, immigration and prisons board (CDFIPB), at the end of its meeting held on Tuesday, 11th July 2017, under the chairmanship of the honourable minister of interior, Lt Gen (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, approved the regularisation of the dichotomy between holders of university degrees and higher national diploma (HND) in all the services,” he said. “To this end, the board directed that all officers with HND to be upgraded to Compass 08, which is the salary grade level for holders of degree certificates at entry point. While the nomenclature for the HND holders will start with the rank of senior inspector, the degree holders are with the rank of assistant superintendent II.” Magaji also said the board approved the commencement of the 2017 promotion exercise for all the services with effect from July 17. “In order to boost internal security mechanism, the board accordingly approved the establishment of the institute of domestic security aimed at strengthening inter-agency cooperation, among other functions,” he added. Education / Re: 21 Common Examination Instructions Words And Its Meaning by Ogun4all(m): 11:27am On Nov 04, 2016 |
Take apart an idea, concept or statement and examine and criticise its sub-parts in detail. You have to be methodical and logical. Assess Describe a topic’s positive and negative aspects and say how useful or successful it is, or consider its contribution to knowledge, events or processes (this is usually about how important something is). Criticise Point out a topic’s mistakes or weaknesses as well as its favourable aspects. Give a balanced answer (this will involve some analysis first). Compare (or juxtapose) Put items side by side to see their similarities and differences – a balanced (objective) answer is required. Contrast Emphasise the differences between two things. Define Give the meaning of an idea, either a dictionary definition or from an academic authority in your subject of study (technical definition). Describe Give details of processes, properties, events and so on. Discuss Describe, explain, give examples, points for and against, then analyse and evaluate the results. Evaluate Similar to discuss, but with more emphasis on a judgement in the conclusion. Examine Take apart and describe a concept in great detail. Explain Give detailed reasons for an idea, principle or result, situation, attitude and so on. You may need to give some analysis as well. Illustrate Give concrete examples – including figures or diagrams. Illustrate is usually added on to another instruction. Interpret Explain and comment on the subject and make a judgement (evaluation). Justify Give reasons to support a statement – it may be a negative statement, so be careful! List Provide an itemised series of parts, reasons or qualities, possibly in a table. Prove/disprove Provide evidence for or against and demonstrate logical argument and reasoning – you often have to do this for abstract or scientific subjects. Relate Emphasise the links, connections and associations, probably with some analysis. Review Analyse and comment briefly, in organised sequences – sentences, paragraphs or lists – on the main aspects of a subject. State Give the relevant points briefly – you don’t need to make a lengthy discussion or give minor details. Suggest Give possible reasons – analyse, interpret and evaluate. (This is also the verb most commonly used to quote another author.) Summarise or outline Just give the main points, not the details. Trace Give a brief description of the logical or chronological stages of the development of a theory, process, a person’s life and so on. Often used in historical questions. http://www.dummies.com/test-prep/defining-common-exam-instruction-words/
Just added. |
This is for the girls who think it’s fun to sleep around or have different men who give them money for different things while they have one boyfriend who they claim to love. Just imagine your life is like this every day, you speak to Alhaji, you thank him for the money he gave to you, and what next? You book an appointment with him, selling your body in the process just because of money. Your life is in shambles, stick to one man, it pays, there’s no gain in that life, you have different men who cater to your different needs but at the end of the day you’re no different from ladies who sell their body for money. You know all languages to communicate with the different men in your life, but when your boyfriend calls you, you speak like a Briton, deceiving him, assuring him of the non-existent love you have for him and still collecting the little he has, my dear, body go tell you. We are in ember month, please be careful, so many evil men out their looking for girls to use for ritual purposes, don’t let your parents efforts be in vain, don’t lose that man who would give all to be with you just because of money, he’s poor today don’t mean he won’t make it, encourage him, be his neck and backbone, a word is enough for the wise.
