*RAPTURE AND HER CONSPIRACY THEORIES*

BY: OKETA MONDAY

There are many believes worldwide on the concept of rapture. Many people see rapture on his or her own peculiar concept of reasoning and exposure.

For the atheist,a person who rejects the believes that any deity exist, undoubtedly believes that there is nothing like heaven or hell, they believe that heaven or hell is an illusionary words used to direct and enforce the moral decency while alive.

For the believers like me, rapture is believed to mean extreme pleasure, happiness, excitement, when Jesus Christ returns and gather for himself the souls of the living believers.

In another development, others held the believe that rapture means the act of kidnapping or abducting especially forceful carrying off of a person, that's their conceptual views. No judge!

Recently, before the former American president barrack Obama left office in 2016, he signed into laws many bills including same sex marriage etc which created more theories in the minds of American people and some parts of the world regarding the believe on rapture. Till date, many American people believe that HEAVEN is a Western world, a developed countries where every thing is available for human pleasure and satisfaction including their liberty and rights to same sex marriage, that's their heaven. Equally, they believe HELL is a impoverished continents with awkward development, backward leadership filled with corruption, insecurity and suffering like Africa.that's their HE'LL. No judge!

Recently, some scientists who believe their knowledge is almost equal or bigger than that of the creator, are on daily research on how to disprove the fact that God created all humans, earth and everything there in. Resultedly, they succeeded in creating more problems with more complex theories to understand by humanity, the ended up creating more harm like corona virus biological weapons, and other related infections.

Currently, the conspiracy theory on rapture has led to the trending considerable decisions by the world to have both Christian and Muslim faithfuls as the pilots of aircraft's during every travel around the world.

The proposition is either to have Christian as the main pilot and Muslim as the co- pilot or have Muslim as the main pilot and Christian as the co-pilot,this justifies the believe that rapture really exist and when it takes place on air travel, the Christian who is the chief pilot will be taken to heaven and the Muslim will take over to avoid the crash of plane on the way.

In scriptural vindication, the words of the lord is fulfilled. It has reached a point where people stopped thinking about their wealth, their thrones, their accumulation, their powerfulness, their beautifulness, their handsomeness, the number of their cars, the millions in their banks, the public properties in their possession, how to dupe and defraud people off their belongings, and now they have started thinking how to avert the consequences of the rapture.

Should the world aviation succeed in creating joint sit for both Christian and Muslim as pilot and co-pilot respectively or vice versal, don't you hold the view that both Christians and Muslims are going to believe that RAPTURE really exist??

Let me have your views and thoughts as a feedback.

Politics / Ebonyi Young Writer&activist Highlights On Social Media Impact by OKETAMONDAY: 10:10am On Jul 23, 2020
*SOCIAL MEDIA EFFECTS AND NIGERIAN LEADERS*
BY: OKETA MONDAY

Social media platforms mostly Facebook has been a nightmare to any principal or minor public office holder who is not ready to utilize such position as an opportunity for a human and societal values and development.

If the owners of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, watsapp, wee chats etc are Nigerians, no doubt today, Nigerian government would have bought all over night or closed them using dubious and ambiguous policies in a bid to nefariously streamline the majority of Nigerian populace to "the more you look, the less you see" system of government.

The successive government of Nigeria has tried a lot to tamper and subdue social media activities having known it's the only way masses can voice out their contributions, concerns, feelings, opinions in favour or against government policies and the only way they can protest and demonstrate against an ill conceived governance and representations but all their efforts yielded no result as the owners of social media platforms are scholars and technocrats from the western world where human right is valued and protected including right to freedom of information acts.

In our county Nigeria, social media has played much significant roles and has made overwhelming impact in our polity and leadership. It has been a voice of breakthrough from the neglected poor citizens who constantly take to their social media handles to kick against some rootless policies introduced by government like the bill against hate speech, bill against social media, bill against generator and other unguided bills that would have today scaled through and become law if not the intervention of social media platforms.

In my chats with one neutral leader close to asorock, abuja, He told me the greatest nightmares some leaders face when making policies considering what peoples' reactions through social media platforms would be.

In Nigeria where peaceful demonstration is always intercepted by heavy bloodbath, the masses are left at nothing but to use social media to pass votes of no confidence against their senators, reps members and even Governors who have compromised the plights of his constituent or state for his selfish and self centered interest.

Social media in Nigeria has tremendously lifted the voice and opinion of the masses which ordinarily should have died unvoiced not even through radio stations, print newspapers, magazines or televised means.
Today in our country, social media information circulates wider and faster than any other means of sending or receiving information. In the last covid-19 national address presented by president mohammadu buhari, social media has circulated the speech even before the presentation commenced.

To the Nigerian populace mostly the youths who are at the receiving ends of leadership, we must rise up and pick our social media handles as our WEAPONS and TOOLS to defeat every form of ungodly policies, unpopular governance and ineffective representations using every constructive and proactive means without being partisan or political regardless of whose ox is glored.

With our social media handles, we shall restore sanity, decency, credibility, transparency, accountability, effective democracy and good Governance in Nigeria.

God bless mark zukerbierg and other founders of social media platforms worldwide, Amen!

Long live federal Republic Of Nigeria!

Politics / Ebonyi Young Writer&activist Questions Igbo Presidency Come 2023 by OKETAMONDAY: 9:57am On Jul 23, 2020
*2023;WHY IGBO PRESIDENCY MAY END UP IN A DREAM WORLD*
BY: OKETA MONDAY

In as much as the principles of fairness and equity favour South eastern geopolitical zone with five populous states and fifteen senatorial districts, added to the fact that the principles of federal characters commission on zoning and rotation of principal officials of the country, serve as enough greenlight for ndigbo to believe that the exalted seat of Nigeria president will inadvertently be produced from south eastern region come 2023, there are some intrigues to examine and put into considerations else, the anticipation for Igbo presidency come 2023 ends in a dream world.

To this effect, let us examine these factors with all sense of responsibility and neutrality; the position of a true Igbo man in the journey of 2023 presidential ticket.

1. *party zoning*: in Nigeria, the two political parties that stand as a determinant of victory are peoples Democratic party PDP and the all progressive Congress APC; however, it is very imperative to understand that these two political parties has their own peculiar constitutions and executive councils who decide where to zone to; recently, on the side of PDP, the former Governor of Benue state Sen Gabriel suswan categorically without reservations stated that PDP is considering zoning of it's presidential candidate to northern Nigeria;though, this statement received counter reactions from the forum of chairmen south east PDP, it might still hold as speculated by SEN suswan and Igbo's will be robbed off by the PDP they have stood with, supported and massively voted for over the years. On the other hand,it's on public domain that APC, the party that has branded Igbo's as 5% in making effective contributions to the victory of their party will never have genuine intentions for zoning her presidential candidate to south eastern region and other reasons soon to unfold.

2. *Deceit and pretence*: recently, a rumors were spread online that one of the south east Governors has gone to the the home throne of the power maker in the north, maumma Daura to seek for his consent and endorsement to emerge as the vice president of the country come 2023; the Governor was also alleged to have awarded a contract worth of about #450,000,000 to the lady who led him through to easily access the presence of the so called power Maker of the country, if this rumors are anything to go about or later comes out to be true, it means that Igbo presidency have been sold for personal vice presidential ambition.

3. *Lack of resolution*: the popular adage *Igbo enweghi Eze " meaning "there is no king while everybody is a king " seems to be manifesting as there has not been any consensus arrangement on the pedigree, portfolio, legacies or antecedents of those qualified to have our support for the journey; consider the case of the recently floored jagaban tinubu whom the entire southwest stood still for and rallied around in all ramifications to ensure he emerged the southwest presidential candidate come 2023; what happens if Igbo's equally have their own jagaban? In Igbo land, everyone has the same interest.

4. *Internal discrimination*: in Igbo land with just five States, there is a believe in some states that they are more superior than their other fellow Igbo States; of course, this superiority complex has the potential ability to jeopardize the victory of Igbo presidency come 2023. Recently, I engaged in a conversation with somebody from Anambra state and he categorically told me that Igbo's will support only presidential candidate from Anambra or Enugu or IMO and can never support any candidate from the poorest state like Ebonyi; though, I rebuked him by informing him that this statement is his own personal opinion and does not represent the opinion of ndi Igbo, it's equally important to pay more attention and address the misconceptions amongst the Igbo States to avoid the claims of superiority over others.

5. *Unsettled agitation*: it's no longer a thing to be wished away or waved out,the agitation for the creation of sovereign state of Biafra; it has reached the level where our responsible leaders should settle the agitators ahead of their presidential ambition. This group consists of not less than 45% of Igbo population mostly youths who can make a significant contributions towards achieving the interest of Igbo nation and advancing the ambition for Igbo presidency come 2023.

In conclusion, I borrow the scriptural sermon that says " it's more easier for a Carmel's head to pass through the eye of the needle............. " than for an Igbo man to emerge as the president and commander in chief of the armed forces federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023 unless these factors stated overleaf are constructively addressed.

These factors does not represent all the factors that may inhibit Igbo presidency come 2023 but represent the very few amongst many others to come in a next episodes in a subsequent time.

Education / Student Accuse ASUU Of Mastermind Delay In Schools Reopening by OKETAMONDAY: 9:15am On Jul 23, 2020
*ASUU; THE REPULSE TO NIGERIAN STUDENTS NOT THE FG*
BY: OKETA MONDAY

This personal opinion piece is solely aimed at accusing the academic staff Union of universities of contributing and masterminding the challenges faced by Nigerian students over the ravaging covid-19 pandemic by carelessly and ridiculously insisting that schools must reopen in 2021.

Recently, the president of ASUU, Prof. Ogunyemi hinted hard against the relentless efforts the federal government are making to land at the best modalities to ensure the safety of students and staff of universities before schools reopen.

Why would ASUU be insisting on schools reopening in 2021? Are they no more the custodians of Nigerian education that would go back to their drawing board and present to federal government the best modalities put in place to safeguard Nigerian students for immediate schools reopening but instead are worsening the contemplation and consideration move been made by federal ministry of education.

Prof. Ogunyemi cannot easily deny this statement as he is reportedly doing when he has categorically told federal government not to border or hasten the schools reopening processes because ASUU's conditions that led to strike actions has not been met by federal government. He went further to state that until their conditions are me,universities will not resume even after covid-19 pandemic.

What is more excruciating than this statement accredited to the supposed students father who should have been in a better position to call for immediate schools reopening considering the ugly effects of this home stay due to covid-19 pandemic over Nigerian students; which has led many into frustration, social vices, cyber criminals, unwanted pregnancy and loss of education interest in our dear country, Nigeria.

Obviously, the position of ASUU can no longer be believed to mean for the interest of Nigerian students and safety of students against covid-19 pandemic but could be believed to mean pursuing their personal interest even at the detriment of the students.

I personally question the integrity of the academic staff Union of universities ASUU and their position even when the federal minister of education alhaji adamu adamu is making frantic efforts to consider and adopt the best modalities for schools reopening; Nigerian students looking forward for ASUU's contributions and guidelines for immediate schools reopening are really disappointed over the statement and position of prof. Ogunyemi.

Why won't the ASUU in conjunction with the federal ministry of education reach out the best way to ensure the protection of students and staff added to the existing protocols and guidelines stipulated by the world health organization, Nigerian center for disease control and covid-19 presidential taskforce committee? It is more worrisome that the position of ASUU is no more about students safety but on the need to fulfill their conditions first before considering the plights and suffering of millions of Nigerian students.

ASUU's decision and position here is quite understandable because 85% of the members of academic staff Union of universities like Nigerian politicians have their children schooling in a reputable institutions abroad while they can do anything to worsen the situation of Nigerian institutions and her students.

The rationale and sensibility behind the continues lockdown of institutions call for questioning even when the inter state travel ban has been lifted and other public functions, gathering and elections are taking place unrestricted in Nigeria; Recall that recently amid the ravaging covid-19 pandemic, taraba state conducted her LGAs election and the winners were announced to the public. Also, on August 15,2020 Ebonyi state will equally conduct LGAs election; this is across the LGAs where the electorates are expected to not be less than 100 at every polling unit. Furthermore, what about Edo and ONDO states September and October gubernatorial elections respectively?

It is highly expected that the measures applied in protecting these electorates while voting and excising their franchise be also applied to Nigerian students to learn and improve the future of our bleeding country, Nigeria.

Note that in Edo September gubernatorial election, the total number of expected electorates are about 2,210,534 voters while that of ONDO October gubernatorial election is expected about 1,822,346 voters; the total will correspond to about 4,032,880 voters who will inadvertently excise their rights in electing their respective state governors but the students who can hardly have about 500 numbers in each class lecture are been schemed out to 2021.

I hereby commend the federal ministry of education on their research on the best modalities for schools reopening and also to the parents and guidance of Nigerian students who has been relentlessly bent on reaching out to the ministry of education for possible schools reopening; however as a Nigerian student,I therefore caution the members of ASUU and challenge them to come up with the best best modalities to reopen our schools and shun out all their personal and groups interest by insisting that their conditions must be met before schools reopen even after covid-19 pandemic.

If the ASUU as body refused to take a genuine and pragmatic steps in working harmoniously in collaboration with the federal ministry of education to ensure swift and responsive reopening of our schools, henceforth, Nigerian students will start viewing ASUU as repulse, disgusting Union who places personal interest above national interest.
