You, as an Obidient did not protest when Peter Obi governed Anambra for eight years without building a single nursery, primary, secondary school, or university, even as he bought 400 cars for Anambra Igwes. You have not protested in the Labour Party state of Abia, which is not paying even the present low minimum wage and owing workers. But it is in Lagos, where public schools are either free or subsidised, and the government built red and blue line railways to get you from A to B inexpensively, while BRT gets you to and from work cheaply, and which pays above minimum wage without owing workers, gives you free healthcare, and has built ports, roads and independent power projects that you want to protest against? No!

Go and protest for your state to be as good as Lagos State!

mrvitalis:

The only reason he was given bail was because he lied he was sick and needed medical attention from his doctors and that can't be done in prisons

The crime he is facing is not a bailable offense and that's the truth

Kanu a supposed sick me has not been seen in the hospital but instead has been traveling addressing gathering of people

Mandela never begged for freedom ...he never lied his way to freedom ...he stood his grounds for 27 years even refusing offers to get free

Kanu lied his way out of prison and abandoned his supporters in jail and has never gone back to visit them or has never visited their families

This is a man you want me to trust the destiny of 40 million igbos in his hands ?? You think this guy can actually die for Biafra the way those young guys died ??

I wonder why you guys ipob supporters can't see the fake in this guy ....well most of you are religion and believe your pastors even when it's obvious his fake
caught in the act again

No he has not, those bail conditions is like telling people to avoid rats, during this Lassa fever season when you know most people can't do that, the rats come to them, Kanu was never under house arrest, he has freedom to move about, KANU right now can not go to the toilet without People following him.

so the people come to him, he doesn't go to meet people.

FG has made so many mistakes in this KANU issue.

In all truthfulness, Peter held the LG erection two months to the end of his 8 year term in office.
LG Erection was conducted on 11th January, 2014 and Peter left office on 14th March, 2014.
This is the reason he kept kwayet about Supreme Court Judgement on LG financial autonomy.

Politics / Throwback: Obi, 7 Others Sued Over Non-conduct Of LG Poll In Anambra by okoro: 8:15pm On Jul 12
AWKA—A member of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra State, Chief Emeka Onuorah, yesterday dragged Governor Peter Obi and seven others to court over the non-conduct of the controversial local government election in the state bringing to two court cases against the governor over same issue.

Others joined in the suit were the State House of Assembly, Speaker of the House, Accountant-General of the state, state Attorney General, chairman of the state/LG joint allocation committee and state Independent Electoral Commission, ANSIEC.

It will be recalled that a similar case filed by a human rights lawyer and an APGA member, Mr. Jezie Ekejiuba, is pending in an Awka High Court presided over by Justice Hope Ozor.

Onuorah, a former president of the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, NIESV, said he was among those that paid to contest the election for the chairman of Njikoka local government area, but the election was still to hold after many years.

In the suit, Onuorah is praying the court presided over by Justice Ijem Onwuamaegbu at Ogidi in Idemili North local government area to decide whether it was proper for the state House of Assembly to enact another law that empowered the governor to be appointing caretaker committees for the 21 local government areas of the state, when there is a provision in the Nigerian constitution for the democratization of the third-tier of government.

When the suit came up yesterday, only the ANSIEC was represented by a counsel, Mr. Christian Agali, who also filed an 11-paragraph counter affidavit.

Counsel to the plaintiff, Mr. Nelson Uzoegb, wondered why other parties in the matter failed to appear in court even after they were properly served. The matter was adjourned to October 4, 2012. smiley
