Bank transfer.
Choose either CAD or USD depending on which dollar is available to buy in CBN that would be done in your local bank.

I wanna announce my approval
Delay indeed isn't denial .
My application was almost a year old. I applied with Reference/investment letter as proof of fund.
Until God sent Austacus my way . This dude took his time to peruse my GCMS note . Most importantly , he advised that I liquidate my investment sum as embassy is more interested in liquid funds. At first , I was reluctant until Austacus gave me reasons .
After the liquidating , dude put me through a lot and now it's a Passport request .
God bless you Bro and God bless you other gurus doing great in this forum .

@Austacus @Austacus @Austacus
How many times I call you ? May you never lack , may you always find favour when needed Bro .
In all, give thanks to God almighty .

My own chip in
She should move to Ottawa or Toronto for summer ONLY to work. If she has any friends (that lives in an apartment) or family member that can accommodate her for the season

Work experience is very very important here.

Relocating to Toronto or Ottawa is highly crazy in terms of cost of living so I will advise her not to relocate.

Her resume should be in Canadian standard, her friends can help her with it, her school employment supports can also help her with it, indeed can also help her with it. But I would advise she should go through school employment supports or friends formats. She should also write a very good ready-made cover letter so whatever work she wants to apply for she would just do a little editing.

In Ottawa ”PeopleReady” employs every day And they have jobs that pay $22 per hr in this summer.

If she wants to come to Ottawa, she should call them and book an appointment with them. then she will be interviewed and write an exam. After the exam, they will congratulate her.

There are surplus jobs in Toronto, Ottawa and BC but the cost of living is maad.

Why are you in a rush to pay school fees tho, even the school is not ready to accept school fees until August, so why the rush? In case you dont know, paying of school fees does not guarantee you Study visa, as we all know, many applicants here didn't pay shishi and they got their visas and are now in Canada.. So dont be deceived, paying of school fees doesnt mean u will get ur Visa.. Also, I will advise you know the refund policy of the school, so u wont come back here lamenting that the school doesnt want to give u back ur money. So even if u wanna pay school fees, please study their refund policies to prevent Stories that touch later..
To the second question, Yes u can upload documents(necessary documents) after the submission of your application, but I will advise you wait for the embassy to request for the documents they need from you.. So please paying of school fees does not mean you will get the study permit Visa, but if you still insist on paying ur school fees, please u can go ahead.. Peace

Thanks bro,

Reason I want to cancel is that my school refuse to offer me an admission for 2019 fall. I currently do not have any new admission letter as the one of 2018 has elapsed. I paid part of my tuition fee and for me to get a refund my school demands a refusal evidence from CIC. I want to apply for a UK university and I need the tuition fee to pay for my UK school

This is very sad

Bro, I don't need to see the copy of your account Statement or whatsoever

Since you claimed the investment is already matured, you can liquidate it and do the justice in the letter.

If you don't want to liquidate it, don't liquidate half or quarter from the 13 million cause it's gonna raise an eyebrow (it may complicate issues)

If you don't want to liquidate it, try and show account statement that has up to 4-2.5 million (4 million and above preferably if available) in your personal account and do the justice in the letter

Did you pay half or full tuition fee or nil?
Do you have your Gcms notes with you?
Did you apply for the Visa yourself?

Bro, I think I will go with the first option, because I don't think I can get 4million again . I can liquidate the whole sum and move it to my normal bank account . But,if I do that , how do I tackle the issue of lump sum ? And pls I want to let you know that my normal bank account records a meagre sum of 100k to 150k monthly. Won't the VO imagine how I make such huge amount of 13m when my monthly cash flow is below 200k ?

The school fee is only available for payment around the month of August . I have a mail sent from the school regarding that .
I did the processing my self and I have my GCMS note with me sir .

Thank you for your swift response Bro ...

I won’t reply to your dm if you didn’t do what I asked you to do.
Hence, if you have any question in mind, please ask, it would be answered in the thread for others to learn.

PS: mind you, I am not saying the application cannot scale through.

Keep hope alive.

Bros, Honestly . I'm open to advice . I won't be here naaa. Why I sent the PM is just to be detailed and possibly to show you softcopy of the statement which is a bit private . I'm happy you responded here Bro

Pls, I just need further clarifications, are you saying that I should liquidate the whole sum and send all to my normal bank account ?

Or I should just liquidate about 2-4 million out of the fixed deposit and send to my normal bank account ?

Or you're saying that I should look for 2-4 million from another source and and send it to my normal bank account?

Thank you as I await your response sir . I have waited this long . and I don't wanna be denied like you said .

You’ve spoken well.

I don’t want this guy to risk this thing

Lemme tell you something I noticed about London VOs

They have listening ears compared to Nairobi VOs

London VOs don’t just refused visa straight up compared to Nairobi VOs

They would give you the grace to tackle it, they might even wait for you for 2 months plus, in this case, thats why it’s always good to order Gcms note if your application have used 3 months (processing time or no processing time)

London VOs don’t have problem in updating medical has passed compared to Nairobi VOs.

Application can stay more than 8 months and yet be refused (London VOs)

Upfront or Medical mail can be passed and yet be refused on a long run (London VOs)

I don’t want this guy to take that risk, that’s why am kneeling down right now for him, he should liquidate the fixed deposit or send 4-2 million to his account and do the explanation which I am ready to help him.

He shouldn’t gamble this stuff, he has waited for about 9 months now.

If he has gotten his Gcms notes, he will see everything

PS: these guys are more interested in LIQUID CASH

Boss, now I get your point . Pls for God sake, I have sent you a PM . I want advise . That's why I've rushed down here .thanks sir

Trust God bro and go ahead to submit the new docs. Use the web form to do so. It is not outside of possibility that they would request a substantive SOA if it becomes a must.

Keep all hopes alive and do all that is within your reach to do. At the first look on your app, if the investment is a complete No-No, you should have received a rejection straightaway.

On CIC website, certain nationals are requested to ONLY state their available balance. Our issue is just because of trust and no one can say yours will not scale through.

I thought as much as well, they should have rejected me if it's a complete red flag.... but then .... they are unpredictable people.
Thank you sir

Bracha:
I'll add to what Austacus has said, that cash you have there, send a statement of account NOT a reference letter. Send the statement of account when sending the new admission letter. When sending the statement of account, tell them it's an update. Make sure you properly explain that the statement of account is the same one with the letter of reference. Also, have the whole sum in your account, i.e the whole tuition + 10,000cad in your account. Your letter of reference from your bank is NOT proof of funds.

Whatever Makano tells you to do, even if it gets their attention, you may still not get that visa because of funds. So update that letter to statement of account first.

Thank you bro

It would only take the grace of God for this application to scale through with what you submitted as financial supports.

I saw this post yesterday and I never wanted to comment on it, but I gotta do it to clear my conscience

Please make sure you submit liquid cash of around 4-2 million (even if it’s a lump sum, just do it, you gotta take the risk)

Don’t liquidate your fixed deposit if only you can get the 4-2 million. (If you can liquidate it, I swear it’s gotta help you a lot)

When you run around for the money in your account or you decided to liquidate the already matured investment... don’t hesitate to fall into my signature or rather, just do the needful by sending the account to CIC and explain it to them constructively

I wonder what your Gcms notes would be saying concerning funds. Had it been you have a scholarship or funding it would have been better for you.

Meanwhile, for the main time, send the new letter of admission to CIC NOW

Have great week!

Boss, thank you for your response .but I don't seems to understand the bolded sir .
The investment is money and not asset . And it was 13m as at the time of my application and now it has accrued

Dear @justmellow, @frankrobbn1 @Qudkom, and other anointed study permit experts, Someone referred me to this forum after I have applied. This is my predicament hereunder

I lodged an application sometimes in late June 2018 with an upfront medical (already updated as passed) and I have not been responded to since then even after several frantic and frenetic efforts of sending emails and CSE (I even ordered for my GCMS note).
I now have my new admission letter with me after the previous one has elapsed, Should I send them the new admission letter (when the embassy have not requested for it?) Any consequence(s)?

The second question is this, I am self-sponsored, and I presented ONLY Reference letter from my bank stating the amount of my investment which is about 13m cash which can be liquidated at any time. ( about 13m good enough for my programme and living expenses) I also stated that I have been saving the money towards my master ever since I conceived the idea of having my masters abroad.
Up till now, I still haven't taken out of the invested sum and it has appreciated. No SOA whatsoever in my application. So, should I also send them a recent reference letter from the bank along with my new admission letter?

KIndly advise me, please.
