Few points to make:

1. An Athesist must either be an evolutionist, scientist, biologist or any other similar "ist". That is the only way they can sound intelligent and to some certain point, logical
2. If they are neither none of above, then, they are all dumb because if they don't believe in one creator how can the explain their existence and the world.
3. If those who belive in God are called unintelligent,narrow minded and dreamers, then Atheists are even bigger dreamers beacuse all they do is quote from other peoples books and theory. None them leaving or dead witnessed evolution, big bang thingy or some other scientic jargons they are throwing about.
4. They said they are free minded, logical and factual people, bull! logic and facts in evolution =0, logic and facts in big bang = 0. Any logic or fact should have created another world or human so we all can see the logic and fact. What i logically know is that until science creats a world and human and all the other species from NOTHING, its all fantacy and mega dream.
5. If i am a betting man and i have to bet on one super unfathomable being that made all conditions perfectly suitable for my existence or some 7million yrs accidental creation and subsequent evolution that ensued, i know where exactly where i will put my money.
Finally for those that want common sense and logic in believing in God, Look up "Mere Christianity" by C. S Lewis or "Reasons to Believe" by Scott Harn. And one more thing, try and be openmined.

What is "Dating"? Dating, to a 21st century man is equal to premarital sex. On average a woman/man will have 5-7 dates before getting married and he will sleep with almost all. God most certainly is not in approval of that and to think or insinuate otherwise is blasphemy. If we are talking about "Dating" without lust or casual/serious "sexing"  and with all purpose and  sincere intentions from both parties is  geared towards marriage, then, God approves such.  However, i am pretty sure that we are not talking of the later.
As for wheather it is in the bible or not, well 2000yrs ago i am pretty sure that they don't "Date" and they were not sexually laxed as we are today. Children live with their parents until they get married. They don't Shack up as we do today. As a matter of fact the phrase "I am Dating" was invented because it sounds more civil and less vulgar than " i am having sex with".

@Poster: God has absolutely no role to play in human relationships. Even people who believe in a deity called God will recognize that God is too busy doing much more important things wherever he is than to concern him/her self with whether a human being kisses or sleeps with a fellow human being. There is no such thing as a universal "Do's" and "Don'ts" list, our morality is determined by our own individual socio-cultural values. Religion has no role to play in morality, and we will be the most miserable of all men if we rely on  religion to tell us how to be moral. Human beings do not need any approval from a deity in order to perform a basic human trait of procreation!
The Aztec for centuries believed in human sacrife and they sacrified thousands of humans to their god. They did not see any thing immoral about it.  My question to you is this, since social cultural values allows it does it make it right and justifiable?

If i know i won't be on Nairaland now. I will be counting my Billions. Why not take out 1billion naira life insurance, once you hit 36yr get yourself wacked and you will be a billionaire, dead.

Lagos flood problem is not the fault of the present government. It started decades ago with lack of planning and drainage system. People are buying land and building houses without proper planning and supervision. You have good for nothing planning authority that demands huge payment from new land owners and they fail to carry out any form of accessment or planing. This is precisely what happen in Festac. Failing to plan is planning to fail as they say.
Some cities in UK, US and other western countries experience flooding mainly from river bank overflow due to heavy rain fall over a number of days. In most part of lagos it happens once the rain hit ground so its not the same.
The government has got their work cut out for them. Its news when it happens in Lekki and Ikoyi, what about other less affluent parts that go on the lock down every time it rains. I fear it will get worse before it gets better if it will.

I most confess since Jay Jay retired, Super Eagles has lost the "Super" and the "Eagles" are more like "Doves" these days. I have lost abit of interest. We need another creative player like Pa Jay. He is definitely the player i missed the most. Amunike and Kanu 2nd and 3rd.

Its not a roket science to run a state in Nigeria unless its Lagos or Rivers state. The problem is that most governors are more interested in what they will get out of it than what they will put in.
Kudos to the Kastina Government, i hope other Governors will follow this simple formular. On another note, it will be intresting to know how much each state owes. Alot of these mickey mouse states are so broke they make Greece look like a Kuwait.
