Business / Re: Access Bank Stealing Money From Customers' Accounts by olusdaniel: 2:24pm On Apr 06, 2016
I'm aware this is an old thread but would you believe that I'm experiencing the same issue even now? They keep charging 1000 naira here and 50 naira there like no man's business. Please has anybody been able to seek legal redress? I want to take it up with them.
Politics / Re: Naira Versus The Dollar, Jonathan’s Policies As Buhari’s Challenges by olusdaniel: 8:57am On Mar 14, 2016
It's unfortunate how some perjurers like this misguided writer attempt to twist the truth and muddle the facts all in a bid to achieve their sinister objectives. It's the governors, not Jonathan's administration or the immediate past finance minister, that created the present mess. They plundered the economy against her advice and recommendations. In case you have forgotten or you simply chose to pretend you're not aware, see this recent piece by Femi Aribisala:

"Okonjo-Iweala stressed the need to reduce Nigeria’s recurrent expenditure. She insisted Nigeria could not afford the petroleum subsidy. She wanted its trillion naira leakages plugged. But Oshiomhole and his former labour union colleagues would have none of that. They mobilised Nigerians against her; so the hemorrhage continued. Okonjo-Iweala wanted Nigeria to save for the rainy day by establishing an excess crude account and a sovereign wealth fund where incomes above budget estimates could be saved.

However, Oshiomhole and his governor colleagues would also have none of that. They insisted all extra money earned must be shared and spent and not saved. They even went to court to force the minister’s hand. Now that the national oil cookie has crumbled, the same Oshiomhole and his misguided colleagues are holding Okonjo-Iweala responsible for not building sizeable foreign reserves in times of plenty."

Truth is, we should praise Madam Okonjo-Iweala for doing everything to keep our economy on the right track when she was finance minister.

You're making a good point with the wrong illustration. Dasuki's case is a serious matter, not one that should be the subject of jokes. And listing someone like Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala makes your comment even worse as she is not involved. Her integrity has been proven over and over again. All she did was release funds for urgent security needs. She did not stop there, she demanded accountability and explained that the money would have to be returned.
