Age plays a key role in admission in foreign school ,except those ones looking for money.even some embassy will find it difficult that one really wants to go for bachelor at 36. It's possible any way, it's one thing to study abroad, it's another thing to get good job, at a particular age . If your motive is to leave naija, don't invest that money in education, u may think of short courses in I.T in some small European countries and then migrate later to bigger countries for job.all better still , learn I.T in naija and apply for jobs abroad

You need permission to organize a protest in Germany ,you have to inform the authorities t and they have to approve it before you get police support.if it will cause uprising, it will never be approved ,am not talking of America. You think , unknown people go just gather in Germany without any approval or identification by the authorities ,I day laff

BadBradley:
protest is a fundamental human right. If protesters are assembling, the police in developed countries make sure there's no hijack or criminality.

But they can't approve or disprove of a protest. President Donald Trump didn't approve of Black Live Matter protest but it went to nfor months.

The idea for police granting right for protest is African as inherited from the colonial police whose sole purpose was to keep the population down against revolting against colonial government.

This is a what Adrian police and government have inherited.

Are you sure police lack the power ,in some countries like Germany .you can't just protest without permission from the police .same in some developed European countries .You can't block road during protest, it's illegal and a crime .That is a civilised country.we have the right to protest but we must do it according the laws of the land .

BadBradley:

I know they will start to curse now

Family / Re: What Will You Do In A Marriage Like Mine? by omotomki: 11:16am On Jan 20, 2021
I understand your plight, I stay abroad and understand how difficult to take care of kids without help.I am a man and have a child too.I think you need to make your marriage work, understand your man.possibly he feels you are trying to bring your mum over so that she can take over your duties as a mother. Most Nigeria women are after money , am not saying you.they will choose career over home ,so if he does not agree for your mum to come ; and you can't sacrifice your work.let the child remain in kindergarten.no marriage is perfect, you may think your man is bad, there are worse men out there. Just my opinion, reach an agreement among yourself.

quote author=Vevejoy post=98230388]Plesse forget the errors and focus on the content.

So here's my issue.

I've been married for 6yrs and it's been a blissful journey- of course with minor issues here and there but nothing to worry about until May 5th 2020 when I'd say things turned upside down.

We live abroad and struggled to have kids but God finally blessed us with a beautiful daughter in Sept 2019. Child care being super expensive here, we wanted one of our moms to come help us with the baby when I return to work after my maternity leave. So on the eve of our wedding anniversary which was the 4th of May last year, I asked my husband for the say 10th time about beginning the procedure of bringing a mom over to help since I'll be returning to work. He asked which mom and I said in my exact words; "of course my mom" because I know that when a woman gives birth, her mom usually go to help her. Did that change our story? My God, marriage has been one hell of a thing since that day.

My husband said I am selfish, disrespectful, and want to dominate him. He said things will never be the same again and since then, my marriage has been a stress zone.

My husband is numb to my feelings. He's been ignoring me, I've been a nag I'll admit since tue incident last year. I now talk alot and mostly complain about everything whenever we are together. It's sad and I've actually had conversations with myself to ignore him and stop nagging but I continue to do it, I need help on how to shut up and observe.

I can cry from now to die kingdom come and this man wouldn't be moved. He cannot shift his stance because of me at all. He does whatever he likes and disregard everything I say. E.g before this crisis, we had an appointment to see our Dr to start trying for baby number two because the Dr's advised that since we just had a baby, it's best to try for another soonest given that we had challenges conceiving the first one. This man cancelled the appointment with our Dr and has blatantly refused to start trying for a baby right now. He says when the time comes he'll let me know. Up till now the time has not come despite the fact that delaying may impact our chance of conceiving again. What a life! .

Also, he has decided that no parent will come and I'm back to work already. My poor baby who use to sleep till 9am now suffer in this winter getting up at 6am to be dropped off at daycare all because her father is angry and want to make sure he doesn't do anything that will make his wife smile. He'll rather spend thorns of money paying for daycare even after I've told him that I don't mind his mom coming. Mind u, I have a very good relationship with my inlaws, especially my mom inlaw so it's not an inlaw fight.

The worst of them all is that despite living abroad for 17yrs, this man believes so much in native doctors to the extend that I can't even explain. Infact it's something that I've always fought him about and talked against. I've even complained about it to his family. And guess what, when I talk against, he tells his native drs who of course has ignited the fire in our home. Can you believe that in this chaos this man took me on a vacation in August last year that he wanted to clear his mind so we can start a new chapter and be happy again only to tell me that I have been trying to use a charm on him in the past months thats why things got rough. He said the 3 women I am using appeared to him but he is stronger . I am laughing because I felt pity and ashamed for him. How can a grown man be this vulnerable to suitsayers? I have never in my entire life visited a native doctor for myself not to talk of going to take a charmI didn'tvisit the native drs when I was strugglingto have a baby and this man thinks I'llvisit one now to charm him. Wondering y he will even believe such a thing. Infact I don't even know any native doctor. So when he said that, I told him that if I had known that his change of attitude is because of this stupid reason, I would not have fought for my marriage like I did. Of course I got so mad and told him a piece of my mind. I am even ashamed of telling people that despite this man's exposure he consults native Dr's in Africa more than even the people in Africa. Infact if they say yes that's what he listens to. He has even paid a flight from here to Africa because a native Dr told him that his dad who raised him to be the man he is today is trying to kill him and he should come for protection.

I decided to tell his mom about the accusation. His mom told me she scolded at him and warned him never to say such nonsense. Well I just pity him and I'm praying for him. But truth is I regret my marriage to him because of these his believes. I just don't believe in divorce and don't even have the heart to move out I would have done so. Mind u, I am 100% independent so it's not an issue of being scared of surviving alone.

Well one Sunday night as usual I talked to him like crazy and he said "all he wants is for our relationship to work and he will put in his best effort with support from me. I said I want same and will put in my best effort with support from him too*. This happened around september and things have been like normal on and off since then.

I have a few worries which I'd like you to advise me on the way forward.
- My husband is heartless. No matter how I lament, cry, beg, approach him nicely. Infact no matter the manner in which I bring up an issue to him, he doesn't get moved at all. He stays on his stance and doesn't care. How am I suppose to live with a man like this. He goes mute when I try having a conversation with him.

- I have a weakness of talking alot which I acknowledge and I'm doing my best to work on it though I'm yet to change completely. But I can say there's a huge improvement. Infact I'm able to walk away now.

Can a marriage really work out out without a compromise from both parties? I feel like I am compromising alot but this man is doing whatever he likes. In all of these he doesn't cheat but has abused me physically 4times in our 6yrs of marriage which I'm still pained about. The worst abuse right now is emotional abuse and I've told him so several times.

We use to be an exemplary and happy couple up till this may 2020. What will you do in a situation like mine With? With a man like my husband who I'd say lacks empathy and a concience how do I deal with him? His mom said she talked to him but I don't see any difference.

I feel miserable right now in my marriage. Since I got married this is our hardest hit and unfortunately it got prolonged probably bc of his native Dr's who told him I am using a charm on him which he believed.

Help me out please
Living abroad and living in naija are two different things. Both have pros and cons. I will say life abroad is not really what people thinks .IT depends on individual, to somebody earning 20k in naija,it's paradise to clean shops abroad.if you can get a good job abroad, life may be a little ok.but the stress is much, lots of people are depressed abroad ,you have got lots of things to worry about.worry about paying bills monthly, worry about trying to keep your job etc .But most of this countries prefer their own citizens than foreigners and we don't expect them to make foreigners rule them in their companies. So it's really hard for foreigners to get some position, it's possible anyway.so if you come abroad illegally , that is when you will know naija has advantages too lol

macrodata:
They'll never tell you how lonely and depressed they are in abroad. You'll hardly hear how they MSc holders are scrubing dead bodies & washing plates to feed till they can find a better job. Nobody talks about how they squat like pigeons & hang out in parks or sleep in the streets.

No!

All you see is blogging to promote another man's land & demonize their father's house. The only thing I fancy about northern people abroad is that you won't see them or hear them in abroad.

Marriage is more than look ,feelings . Alot of things need to be checked before going into any relationship, things like attitude matters. If he is handsome and has very bad attitude or hot tempered, then it's not worth it. Sometimes , you need to get to know the family, is there a particular trait or illness in the family. Most young people just fall in love based on feelings , they don't have time to do thorough research on the person . If he loves you and you disappoint him once by not coming to visit him as you said and this makes him stop picking ur call , he has failed the first test of love

LucyB24:
I'm a 24 year old lady living and working in Abuja. My job is very time demanding. I'm usually very busy on weekdays, and sometimes on weekends I can get called to work if something important comes up.

There is a guy I've known for months now. We met in Abuja at an event and we've been friends since. He lives in lagos but visits Abuja occasionally. He's also a very busy guy and he hardly has time on his hands. We have spent sometime together talking and getting to know each other but we haven't been on an official date. Most of our interaction has been over phone calls and WhatsApp text messages due to the distance barrier.

I fell in love with him during the course of our friendship. He is everything I want in a man. He's financially stable, very good looking and smart. The few times I've spent talking to him have been a pleasure, both for my eyes and for my mind. I never thought I could ever meet someone who checks all those boxes perfectly.

Men like him usually get a lot of female attention and I've tried to tread carefully. I didnt want him to see me as cheap but I also don't want him to think I am not interested in him. The day he told me he loved me was very memorable for me because I felt the same way. Few days later I told him I loved him too. Due to the distance barrier we could only talk on phone. I'm a very decent lady with good upbringing but because of what I felt for him, I did things I thought I'd never do. One night we had a sex chat that ended in me sending nudes to him. I've never done this before. This made me feel vulnerable and cheap because even though he said he loved me, I never believed him because he didn't really act like someone who was in love with me. He wasn't the type to call everyday and there were periods where he would dissapear for days and ignore my calls and texts and then return like nothing happened.

Last week we planned a special meeting. I was to travel to Lagos to see him at his place on Saturday morning. He had planned to refund me the money I'd use for my airline ticket and even hire a taxi that would bring me straight to his place from the airport. The way he sounded I knew he took it as a big deal. I agreed to come see him in lagos. On Friday morning he called and I assured him I was going to come. He called me again in the afternoon and I assured him I was going to come.

Towards the end of work on Friday my boss informed me that I had to be at work on Saturday to complete a very important project. Immediately I got the information I sent him a text. I was too tired when I left for home and I planned on calling him later that evening. I was so tired that I took a quick nap and woke up to missed calls from him. I called him back and asked if he got my message and he said he didn't. I informed him of the change in plans and he got very furious. He accused me of being indecisive and playing games. He said he had cancelled lots of meetings and spent money preparing for my visit and was disappointed that I didn't take him as seriously as he took me. He ended the call in annoyance and I've not heard from him since. He isn't picking my calls or replying my texts. I've sent him voice messages on WhatsApp apologizing and explaining myself but he hasn't replied..

I really love this guy and I don't want to lose him. He probably thinks I'm lying to him or that I have someone else I'm seeing but that's not the case.

These are questions Nigerians shud ask, some houses abroad are run on solar, you can't only depend on hydro electric power .to produse the necessary grid,if private people provide high power solar panel, they can register thru government to supply every house who can pay.The question now is,is it 4k per house hold or per building .instead of people to rubbish any proposal by government, they shud ask meaningfull question.some people don't ever wish anything good for this country, they are always condemning everything.

I think our journalist are not doing their job well, you are reporting a case on a page of newspaper and can't simply find out what the lagos state law states about cars that are seized .it's then, one can know if they were right or not , and then lawyer can challenge the matter .what I think is that cars are not to be auctioned for offences but there is a Grace period for owners to pay fines.if after this period, they can't pay , then the car is auctioned .it is the duty of lawyers to find out these information before presenting information to public, it is afterwards duty of lawyers to take up the case .we have so many lazy journalist and bloggers up and down , peddling unverified news

You are right , in developed countries .governemt. don't manage anything. It is run by private people ,that is why things work.theyou shud allow private people buy trains and run transport . I think the private transport company shud make a proposal to the minister .You will see the kind train that an ibo man will bring , that is when you will see competition with latest and fastest train .lol

pharmagba:
Not so my country
Amechi is getting it wrong,
Government should only provide the rail track, the couches and train should be given to my ibo brothers to manage as a private entity. Those guys are supreme in business.
Amechi should as a matter of urgency call on Ekeson, chisco, ezenwata, Guo , the young shall grow , borny way etc. to bring in their couches and government should only be interested in tax from every loading and coordination of the rail track. Government cannot manage anything in Nigeria the example is for us all to see. Nipost, nitel, nnpc, nepa even execution of war against Boko Haram they have failed.

There are lots of secret behind most things you see in developed countries , at least we shud try to appreciate the little we have .for your information , most of this trains are not owned by governemt. They are owned by people through shares , they are owned by private people, private companies ,Rail lines are sponsored by European union .They do it so that there can be free movement of goods , logistics is one of the fastest and largest growing business in europe. So it's not a one man thing , there is no government in Nigeria or African who can provide such trains on it, we need to learn how things work before we condemn.PDP or apc can never buy such, it's only group of private people who can do such

Trains do develop technical fault also abroad and passengers have to alight to take another train. The only problem with that of Nigeria is that there are no options when there is a break down.Abroad , the driver of the train manage to take the train to the nearest train station and another train is provided for the passengers to continue . I think nigeria shud allow private individual to run rail transport .In europe , most of the trains are owned by private people through shares ,private people should be allowed to have trains , run transport business with their trains .it will create jobs for the people .also most of the rail lines in europe are sponsored by Europe union to facilitate movement of goods., I wonder why Africans and African union can not be United. We don't need to be critiscising government all the time ,europe is working because most of the things are in private hand ,the government only provide a favourable ground for private people to invest . We can't be burning buildings during protest and expect investors to come to our country .

I don't stay in naija but I have seen white folks who love Africa and love to go on vacation in Africa. I think lots of factors are involved aside money.the terrain is different, weather ,lifestyle and culture have a role .the drainage and piping system in europe is underground, you can't see any gutter .In Nigeria, there is no planing , people build houses anyhow and as they like without regards to the town planing, some even cut out of the road to join their land. No standard and no enforcement of town planing laws, the weather in naija is another issue, rain so much ,no good drainage and then the road is spoilt due to flood .much pressure on the road since we don't have intercity rail .Most of the rail project in Eunopened are funded by EU to facilitate movement of goods.corruption is another factor ,bad leaders who don't have ideas of what to do with tax payers money ,corrupt contractors who execute bad jobs and not to forget some few bad Nigerians who don't wish anything good for the country and also comparing Europe with Nigeria, forgetting that the people abroad have a different mentality about money .there is nothing free abroad, no free water ,u have got to pay for everything, you pay heavy tax, you get the facilities. Not to forget, some developed country want Africa to continue to be underdeveloped and foolish youth to continue seeing their country as shit holes, leaving their countries to develop other people's country

quote author=PhiliptheArab post=96293455]We don't have these kind of streets in nigeria because we are not ready to pay the kind of taxes that would fund and maintain those kind of streets.

In the UK, if you are living in the city, you pay council tax which ranges from 60000 to 100000 naira monthly depending on the city. That money goes into making the cities look nice

That's why uk cities have great streets.

If we charged that kind of tax in Nigeria, Nigerians would scream.

So we pay scanty taxes and get scanty and bad roads

Accountability demands that people should be precise and accurate to some extent .to stand on a neutral ground means both parties need to provide an accurate evidence , cnn said people died , what is the number ? on the other hand , lie Mohammed gave a detailed account of the number of those who died and facilities destroyed.i think it's up to a month now since the event happened,I expect the organisers to be able to present their own acount with a precise number . I expect them to be able to inform people whon lost their relatives to notify them on a particular number or to get a lawyer who can secretly hear their matter if they are afraid of the governemt.I think cnn relied on videos given them by people , but the organizers should also be able to give a precise acount of the people that died .if they continue to hide their names , who will compensate their families .Are the organisers able to compensate them, how long do they want to hide the names and details of those they claim died .if you are in a leadership position, u are to be accountable , so let them submit a report with names and details of those involved. It is unwise for them to hide names

I think there should be no comparison bw dollar and naira .Imagine you give somebody money and they don't appreciate it.even there are people abroad who can't afford to eat and not all countries abroad support their citizens finacially.calling people on this forum stupid is wrong and speaks what kind of person you are .Nigerians shud learn to be polite , learn to argue without insult ,that is what we call courtesy

SOME OF YOU PEOPLE ON NAIRALAND ARE JUST SO STUPID. THE GOVERNMENT IS GIVING YOU A 100$ FROM YOUR TAX PAYERS MONEY AND YOU ARE HAPPY. PATHETIC IGNORANCE IN DISPLAY!!!

Properties / Re: AMAC Demolishes A Shopping Plaza With People And Goods Inside (Video) by omotomki: 10:29am On Nov 17, 2020
I agree with u, It's always good to hear two sides of a matter , Nigerians simply jump into conclusion without investigating what really happened. I am sure some of them did not even watch the video, they never even found out if theyou were served noticed. Not everything we see or hear is true.I believe most Nigerians are easily deceived, lots of fake news in the air and it is always good to be able to find out the truth .

Handsomecole:
Some Nigerians like to cry foul and it's one of the reasons why the Government wants to regulate social media.

No1 is I am 101% sure that AMAC would have served them demolition notices or even quit notice before now.

No2 Lands in Abuja have already have the design of buildings which you must adhere to. But Nigerians don't like to obey the rules and when the Government clamps they begin to cry for needless sympathy.

No3 ; They were not even trying to demolish the building the space down was emarked as a parking space.

I don't think there is anything that can come out of that panel that people can believe .Even if it is true. I have to understand that when you hate somebody , no matter what the person say or does , you can't be pleased.Majority of Nigerians hate this government , so nothing the government can say or do that will please them.It is a mindset, to get the truth , you need to stand at a neutral point .people ought to ask questions,I stand at a neutral point, I have seen all videos online, but I am yet to see somebody who is there to give his own account ,apart from DJ switch. Is there nobody on nairaland there who can give an eye witness acount. I believe nairaland is a faceless group of over 1000 people , I believe somebody should be able to give an eye witness account .I am not saying that people did not die and I am not in support of the government but assuming the government is to compensate the dead victims , won't this people come out , I believe also the organisers should be able to bring out a listwith names of those who died,in know some who come for my head lol

jaytii:
I see a lot of people have already made up their mind that whatever they say is a lie. This shows how gullible most Nigerians can actually be, what happened to the principle of "audi alteram partem" it's bad enough that both sides have already gone against the part of equity that says "he who comes to equity must come with clean hands" the people recycled old pictures and videos claiming it was from the night of 10-20-20, the military also claimed they were never there, 2 wrongs.

At this point, it's only wise to detach yourself from previous judgements you might have made and hear both sides, their truth and their lies (which I trust we'd all be smart enough to discern).

When you tell them the truth, they start raining curse on you , they simply want you to accept everything they say.Even the white people don't just accept everything, they ask questions.Even stupid questions brings out the truth , when you ask my people questions they curse you for asking.you know the white have a way of knowing the truth when they question you, from your reactions to certain questionsituations, they can detect the truth . So I believe she is telling the truth lol but she should make herself available for questioning. Surprisingly, the international world know the truth of what happened, that is why they kept quiet.

NGpatriot:
1. This is fake news, it's not available anywhere on the internet apart from NL, this is the usual ipob fake news and information weapon.

2. The DJ lied and she's still lying, it's sad that thousands of Nigerians took to the streets to call for a better Nigeria while one of our so called leaders of tomorrow lied and set in motion massive destruction all over the country.

3. The most honorable, responsible and patriotic thing to do is to take your truth and info to the judiciary panel for the world to see and confirm

4. It's painfully obvious that all she lied and this is the reason why she's dodging the judiciary panel, she's dodging hard questions and because she has no proof.

5. It's very impossible and unrealistic for her to be the only witness to 15 deaths without proof even though she conveniently lied that she did not take pictures of the dead because her phone died? What about the hundreds of people at the scene? Their phones died too? How come we don't have the same story from them?

6. She also lied that after the shooting by the military, the police also showed up kill more people? This makes no sense because she said before that she took the 15 dead protesters to the military men and they drove of with the dead protesters, still no proof.

So, what happened to the ones the police killed? Did the police also drove off with the dead bodies?

7. It's impossible to have such killings before hundreds of people with just one single witness to deaths and the rest of her lies. What about the hundreds of people at the scene? Their phones died too? Were they blind and didn't see the 15 dead people?

8. One gentleman was at the scene and according to hiom, he took the wounded and injured to the hospital and even after many trips to the scene and the hospital, he did not see any dead protester.

9. Till today, we haven't seen mothers, fathers of family members asking questions or looming for their dead relatives.

10. This DJ woman is obviously a cold hearted liar..

If them like , make they open eyes and let them burn lagos

.....
seunmsg:
Is this new to anybody? There is nothing in the tweets above that is strange to me. The protest to end sars was a legitimate one. However, opposition politicians and others with divergent interest hijacked the protest for various reasons.

I supported the protest till the day the president disbanded the rogue sars unit and accepted the 5 demands of the protestors. Sadly, the PDP and ipob sponsored elements which constituted the leadership of the protest refused to end the protest for obvious reasons. Myopic youths who couldn’t read in between fell for their gimmicks and refused to leave the streets. The end result was sorrow, tears, blood and carnage.

They have started mobilizing for another round of protest again. Hopefully, Lagosians will be wise enough this time around not to fall for their lies. In fact, Lagosians have a duty to protect their communities from deaths and carnage. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Lagosians, be wise.

Some of these guys have businesses abroad and they get money in their account daily, somebody is a doctor in uk and collecting pay monthly and supporting people to go on protest, somebody is in Lagos, he has a shop ,expecting his goods ,he joins the protest, the Hoodlums join the protest at day and loot his shop at night..who loses?.I am yet to see where the organisers donate money to those whose shops were looted, the government must pay this people .the government is begging now that there shud be no protest, we want protest ,we also want the government to compensate us if our shops are looted.YES WE HAVE A RIGHT TO PROTEST

softset:
I fear for Nigeria's economy. We can protest using other legitimate and acceptable methods.

Most countries expecially in europe requires a permit to protest or gather. When the authorities approves your protest, you can do the protest . It is illegal for people to stage a protest without approval from government even though there is freedom of speech and you have residence permit , you still have to follow the laws of the land you live .if the government approves it, the Police will escort you during the protest , if not approved, you can't gather for any protest

Am pleading to all my nigerian brothers and sisters in abroad wen u protesting pls and pls make sure u have ur working permit..God bless Nigeria we going to make it

Watch as how they will come for your head for saying the truth or saying your opinion. They can curse your entire generation lol

et us talk about trust.
Many have said despite the things the government have done protesters should continue to hold the country to ransom because the government cannot be trusted.
The similitude of this is that I have been owing you money and I have been promising and failing. One day you hold me by my trousers on the road and say I must pay. I agree to pay you, even gave you my phone to hold until I do, but I need to reach into my car and get my credit card, then go to the ATM to withdraw your money.
I go ahead and say you can follow me. A third party you trust can come also. All I need is for you to allow me get to the car and collect my card and then pick up the money. I even go ahead to say ok choose anyone to come with me and even hold me by the trouser until I withdraw the money, in case you are not chanced.
But you say no. I must give you your money while we are at the middle of the road or we will continue to be there. Does this make any sense?
Matter of fact your kids begin to cry from hunger and the whole road is held up no one can move, a pregnant woman and her baby even died but you say no; you will not appoint anyone to ensure I get my card and pay you right away, you will not allow anyone pass even medical emergencies, all because you don't trust me.
At some point I say ok let me do transfer, at least I have my phone on me, you said no, I agreed to transfer too fast maybe it is fake alert. Ok, let me borrow from someone close by to pay you, you say no I don't use to pay debt, you don't want me to be owing the person as I owed you. Then you started making demands, I will agree to them and you will make more. At some point you started saying even if you pay me now I still have other issues with you that I can't count so we will be here until these issues I have not articulated are all dealt with.
You do know that at some point I will remember you do not really have right to hold me right? And at some point I will feel you are actually not trying to get your money, you just want to embarrass me.
I know your eyes caught the part of not having right so let me address it. I have heard so many people saying peaceful protest, peaceful protest but these protests are not peaceful because peace is not the absence of fighting, it is the absence of DISTURBANCE.
To give credence to this argument I will refer you to the Criminal Code, Section 101 which says that a Justice of Peace or Police man of some ranking may command any assembly of people "likely to cause DISTURBANCE" to disperse and they must obey. Note that the section says this applies even for lawful gatherings.
Read further, Section 102 says should they not leave, the Police is allowed to use "FORCE" to disperse them. And it gets worse. Section 73 says a Policeman "shall NOT be liable in any criminal or civil proceeding for having, by the use of force, caused harm or death of any person". The Police Act even says how and where the protesters can be shot.
YET this government has warned Police against use of force. They are even prosecuting those who use force! Yet all they get in reply is insult and accusations. But my only fear is that just like the person in the scenario I painted, it gets somewhere and the government will also remember its rights too. Then in exercising them excesses will also apply.
So I am asking, why not constitute yourself into a Civil Society and monitor the implementation of all the government has started doing and promised to do as YOU HAVE EVEN BEEN INVITED TO DO? Why push your luck too far? Why do we choose anarchy over a solution? Why not win the battle you said you want to win?
Is it insincerity or is it lack of clear knowledge of what you are doing?
Politics / Re: Niger, Benin, Togo Pay Nigeria N2.04bn Electricity Bill by omotomki: 9:37am On Oct 28, 2020
Many people don't know what you just said.Nigeria need to produce more electricity to have constant electricity. A small population (country) would not need to consume much and thus have enough for 24 hrs .So this small countries can have constant electricity because they are small and pay Nigeria to get it.

quote author=Kyase post=95421459]paid
Their consumption rate is way below Nigeria, 500MW will be enough for their entire population
