I think i hung up after my Choriocarcinoma experience.

Oh...chorio.. in case anyone here has gone through same condition and wondering if she can still conceive afterwards, I am here to confirm to you that you can and you will by God's grace.

Well...if there's anyone here who has gone ahead to carry a pregnancy to term after multiple first trimester (especially less than 10weeks) miscarriage, and/or years after surviving Choriocarcinoma, i am willing to read from you.

I decided to peep in here today to wish everyone here success on their TTC journey.

I can't even recall many names anymore..but I remember swearest, zaynie, I think few others..it's been close to 10yrs I joined the group.😁. TTC journey of 15yrs, lost count of lost pregnancies.. 15? 17? Maybe more..😄 I think I stopped being active after my Choriocarcinoma experience.

I am hoping most of the people I used to relate with here have gotten results and moved to other groups.

For those still on the waiting list like me, I am here to remind you (as I used to back then😄), that TTC should NOT be a barrier to your progress in life. Do NOT allow TTC to stand in the way of your career, business, aspirations, dreams and all! Let those babies arrive one day to meet a super successful woman as their mother.

Wondering if I practise what I preach? Dear sisters, I have achieved ALOT while waiting.

Please is this CBT/interview for BEA applicants only? Or are local scholarship applicants taking the exam too? For an M.Sc in a school here in Nigeria is my brother expected to write the exam between 15th n 19th?

How do we know exactly which date he's expected to travel to his centre? I learnt it's different dates for different states.

Well, a piece of advice to my sisters here: TTC can make you lose direction..it can kill the star in you..but that's only if you allow it. Do your best to remain focused on what you want to become. Ignore the world around you! TTC pulled me back but it didn't take long for me to resist the drawback. I'm not rich nor am I famous. I've not travelled the world..left my country just once before. But! Every mother will wish to have a daughter like me..you know those things you achieve that makes people say 'wao..at this young age!' yeah..that has been said about me several times. Truth is I've struggled in life..almost all my life..yet I've often achieved milestones before my mates do. I win scholarships, titles, name it.. Whenever I aim for them..Dear sisters, I have aimed for kids and lost over 15 pregnancies..that's if I counted well and I even got other health conditions in my pursuit... Is it that I didn't aim well like I did for other things? Nay. Every great man has an obstacle. Believe me, YOU ARE ALL DESTINED TO BE GREAT. This is our trial period. We shall overcome.
If you doubt me, how do you explain the fact that even Almighty IVF is not the way to go for me despite my unexplained infertility? Just last month I ran new tests..big names o..of about 350k yet all was fine. I can't even jump up at a BFP because I've seen many disappear later and even prayed for negative result at some point just to save me from dying. Don't doubt.. Believe.. YOU ARE DESTINED TO BE GREAT! This too shall pass.
Apologies for the long post. I just can't imagine TTC overwhelming any sister here who is likely to become Nigeria first female president. Something just told me that someone here needs this encouragement this day so I decided to do my bit.

Good Morning sisters... Been long you heard from me. I remember you all always... Plenty things have happened..I have cried, I have laughed..though I'm still looking unto God but the laughter has been more than the tears. God has been so Merciful and wonderful. Whenever I remember that my child should probably be in JSS2 by now, I wish I had saved the tissues and prayed unto it..but when I look around me and see how well I've been doing, I praise God.
Mama Zaynie, Nurse Kaffy4bill and Swearest have kept in touch so much that I'm not sure we aren't blood sisters. Other mamas have asked after me here too.. Though I don't log in but I get the info. God bless you all.

I may not have children despite being in my 8th year of marriage but I have God.. He gave me life... Many have died... Alhamdulillah.. Yes, I'll cry when need be... I cry when I see some pregnant women who were once club girls.. I cry when I see people who don't take good care of their children.. I cry when some kids call me aunty when I organized their mothers wedding and taught their mothers how to stay in marriage.
Alhamdulillah... I'm still alive..

I'm going through the toughest phase of life I've ever gone through yet I say Alhamdulillah.. Thanks to God..
Sisters, whenever AF shows up, thank God. Even When spontaneous miscarriage occurs, thank God. Whatever your situation, thank God for the gift of life, beg him to grant you strength to carry on and then finally ask for what you want and reject what you don't want.
I used to cry while I had several natural miscarriages but this last episode I was begging God to make it a natural miscarriage and complication-free. I wish I had thanked God more when the miscarriage was easier and with no molar complications.
When you don't have money to get better medical attention while ttc, thank God. Yes... Thank God!
When I couldn't afford 20k drug to support my pregnancies , I had natural miscarriages.
When I could forcefully afford half a million for support, I got more complications and had to budget/spend another quarter of a million to clear out what I supported and also monitor my body for a while and even avoid pregnancy o.... Mind you, discovering the reasons behind the recurrent miscarriage is out of this, trauma nko, and so on.... After roughly 8yrs.
Yes, my husband is wonderful. I thank God for that. I'm not trying to conceive(not this year sef) for now so I'll only peep in once in a while. I'll patiently and prayerfully wait for my miracle if God will bless me with one. I thank him for the gift of life.. Many have died..
I prayed for 30bfps for the month of May here sometimes ago. Happy to read over 10.

Thanks for your prayers..To think that I only went to the hospital to get antimalarial o because I already said I'll wait two weeks before any scan again. My eyes are swollen from tears. I have serious headache too. I pity DH. He's been supportive all these years..after almost 8yrs and age factor plus family pressure I just feel like letting him go and enjoy his life.
I believe in miracles. Even right now I'm hoping for one. I believe in your prayers..This too shall pass.. Mon shaa Allah. God bless you all.
