ISOKO PEOPLE.
The Isoko people migrated historically from the Benin Kingdom in Edo State, and therefore share some cultural similarities with Great Benin. The area later formed part of Bendel State, before Bendel State was split to form Edo and Delta states.

EDO AND DELTA UNITY OF BENDEL

Just like Nigeria; Bendel is also a multicultural society full of different tribes and beliefs. The whole point of Bendel is to be a nation with good democracy and unity. Unlike Nigeria that could not accomplish promoting unity among their people despite the tribes Bendelites are trying to find away to make it work and there are some ideas.

History: To always teach the historical event that made what it is today. the colonization of the empire by the European (Benin empire) and the tribal war that cause Atlantic slave trade and last but not least the history of Nigeria. its important to learn history so the same mistake wont be repetitive or in a similar situation,
Look at the common factor: knowing the differences in each Bendelites due to the tribes and culture. Despite all that they are somethings Bendel needs to think about before tribalism becomes an issue. Bendel was part of a nation known as Nigeria means ”niger area” which means area of blacks. the word ”niger” is the original spelling of the ‘N’ word which means black in latin. to the world we are all view as black people. If and a student from Esan land can go to a multicultural and multiracial country like U.S.A and sit in the same class with Europeans, Asians then why not live and try to coexist in the same country as an Ikwale after all we all come from the same group of people as the western world calls it ‘race’ and most importantly we are human beings.
Equality: Being open-minded contributes for equality the beliefs that everyone opinion and voice matter even if you disagree with that person. being open-minded leads to more of a civilized nation; as the bible written in one of the ten commandments ”love your neighbours as yourself” respect and give a helping hand to the person next to you no matter what tribe there from whether its minority or majority. The mentality of thinking your view is better than the person view next to you because you believe you came from a tribe greater than the other person. can lead to tribalism and situation in our society would be dealt with in an uncivil matter which we are trying to prevent.
We the Bendelites ” the government don’t choose us we choose them”

i m from oredo LGA.i waz brought up in the south west and i kept hearing several rumurs and lies about benin and i believed it anyone but wen i traveled to benin in my early twenties i realize dat edo st is very calm and peaceful.i waz proud to asdociate wit my people.the city is so bubbling and i must cinfessed dat i really wanna extend my stay because its an interesting place to live even more dan the over hyped lagos city.

We are Nigerians and Bendelites,We are not Oduduwa, we are not Arewa and we are not Biafra but Bendelites. My dear people of Edo/Delta, we the members of Bendelites Association Room (BAR) are using this medium to reach out to our fellow Bendelites to join this moving train of success and freedom. Please lets unite and not to be ignorant of the ongoing menace of secession going on in Nigeria today. We have been quiet not because we don’t know what to do either but because we are peace loving people who believed Nigeria will be a great nation; now that things are beginning to fall apart, the unity of the country is already a mess, since 1960 of Independence the nation has not be able to provide us anything good from it instead the leaders are busy looting.
We the people of Edo/Delta have been tagged as minority in country that recognizes equal right for the people which is not true, our own country where we have no voice because we are tagged minority.
We all know what happened to our states during the Nigeria civil war known as Biafra war, we Bendels were captured and our people were killed our land was the terrain of terror. My dear people of Bendel, this same people are busy threatening their selves again, are we going to fold our hands and be watching them to ravages us again? No, that’s why we call on our people both home and abroad to join this movement.
We know some part of present day Delta state are claiming to be Biafrans which we are not against, for it’s their right to chose where they belong.
My dear people we are making it clear that if Nigeria seize to exist tomorrow as a nation we as Bendel people are capable of having our Nation, we are not Biafra, We are not Oduduwa, and we are not Arewa but Bendelites and we won’t allow any parties to use us as their collateral damage.

Hello people remember the Midwest region in Nigeria known as bendel well there is a Champaign to turn the split up state into a nation. Please speak your mind if you have any question please don't be afraid to ask.

The Bendel empowerment is a movement where the people of bendel have the right to freedom of speech to form there own nation Bendel republic. Ever Since nigeria has its independent the country has been deginerating and being oppressed by the majority tribes (yoruba, igbo and hausa ad fulani) that cause tribal wars. Before bendel was a state known as midwest region state it was split up into two state today known as edo and delta in the 1990s without no reason being given except that it benefitted the goverment. The government in nigeria split up bendel without the consent of the people of bendel. the bendel republic will be a multicultural, openminded nation fill where every tribe, culture and person will be equal in the public eye; more stable democracy the place where our votes counts without political corruption instead of the government choosing us we choose the government. we fight in unity againt the corruption from the goverment and tribalism with the
