Good afternoon good people. I like to make some clarifications as I make the decision to commence my express entry journey. I’ll be 36 in Dec and wife is 27. I have a masters degree but spouse has only Bachelors. My work experience can be accumulated to 10yrs while hers is 3yrs because she finished her nysc around 2021 around she has some pre-nysc work experiences too. We can both write IELTS with equal capacity. I also have a sibling in Canada with potential nomination or sibling’s point.

Please based on the above, who would you suggest to be made the principal applicant here for us to accumulate the max points? And if there’s any other thing we could do to secure the maximum point, please let me know. Thanks.

With you a primary applicant= 479 CRS
With your wife= 486 CRS
(You both share the same point for siblings in Canada. Either yours or hers)

Your wife stand a better chance a primary applicant. To make it more better, she can take a short certification exam to add to her Bsc degree. With two or more certificate instead of just Bsc degree, she gets 494 CRS point.
