The last EOI draw for SWO with family connection to MB was december 2023...
Manitoba is having huge backlogs of application of 6,505..and all occupation draws and occupation specific draws are not regular because of shortage of allocations..
They are prioritizing applications..and also those whose work permit are
expiring within 45 days in canada...
Some SWO are processed within 6 months and some 9 to 12 months..
As far as I know they will contact your Manitoba supporter...

Here is someone timeline below for SWO with close relative in MB.

Thanks very much for insights

Here's my own timeline

EOI - 23 Oct 2023
EOI Profile Update - 06 Nov 2023
LAA - 21 Dec 2023
Application Submission /Confirmation - 5 Feb 2024
File No. - 6 Feb 2024
SP2 Form Submitted - 22 Mar 2024
Assessment in Progress - 27 Mar 2024

This is the how far i have gone

Hi guys
To the seniors who made it via Manitoba PNP i have been on this thread since last year and no one as given me any answers.

I got my LAA from Manitoba in December 2023 and i have done everything asked by February 2024. So my question goes

1. How long does it take for me to get a response? It says 6 months on their website.

2. If they are to make a contact is it to my relative or me ( if i am contacted is it by calls or email)

Thanks very much as i await your urgent response

This post made me research Manitoba PNP, but I am ineligible because I have no connection to the province.

Thank you though, I will start looking at other provinces.

If you don't have a relative in Manitoba your chances are zero.
I think the PNP route favours people who have relatives. Although i may be wrong

Please a sincere question, why do people retake IELTS when they can easily follow the PNP route?
Retaking IELTS is extremely expensive why not channel the resources to PNP route or is there something I don't seem to understand?
Please someone should enlighten me because I see a lot of people retaking IELTS

I had my first ielts and got a 7.5 i was adviced to take a second test which i got band 8. I am using the PNP route although i am an applicant still waiting , i got my LAA within 2 months. The thing with PNP now is that those who didn't fare ware with EE are trooping in PNP resulting in high cutoff. So if they have to take it again just to boost their scores, let them do it biko

My take on barca since the Koeman era is that there's little or no zeal to win. Barca is like that game where we have achieved all the stages and got bored playing afterwards.

Teams who are yet to match barca pound for pound are still scared of the name and crest but if only they know that it's an empty vessel filled with trash.

We are in the same ship.

Need help on how the PNP works Biko?

You will require extra levels of patience for PNP

Pre PNP
1. Wes evaluation
2. Ielts (L8 S7 R7 W7)
3. Proof of funds account showing salary payment(14k cad)
4. Work Reference Letter
5. Tax Clearance
6. Have a relative who's a PR
PNP
1. Create an EOI account maxing out all points
2. Wait till you get LAA
3. Submit all documents including birth attestation showing your relationship with your relative (you usually have 60 days)
4. Wait for atleast 6 months

This is for Manitoba

abeg how do some ppl manage to get 8.5 in listening? that shi..t is too hard.

I wrote ielts twice

First attempt - L8 W7.5 R6 S8 overall band 7.5
Second Attempt - L8 W7.5 R7 S8.5 overall band 8

Listening is the easiest just pay keen attention and read the instructions avoid the least distraction and you will be fine.

It is for temporary foreign workers. It doesn't apply to people applying for permanent residency (Express Entry people).
What about those using PNP route?

what about people that don't have relatives in province

There's a point system for it
If you have a close relative you get 20 points
If you have a friend, i think its 10 points

But the idea is to max out the points for each section

Oga you better update your POF. Manitoba is not going to issue you a visa. Visas are issued by IRCC, and IRCC have their minimum POF.

I guess you refused to read the part that’s states…

…As an exception, applicants who provide an Express Entry profile and verification code must demonstrate the required amount of funds set by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)…

Did you include your Express Entry profile in your Manitoba PNP application?

Thanks for the update i honestly didn't see this part. I will act accordingly

Where you see POF as CAD10k ?

Minimum POF for a single person is almost CAD 14k
Manitoba Web page says 10k cad sir/ma
I am also an applicant
