Hopesprings: Hi All, Ill be moving in a few months with my family (Husband and 2 kids) and will be working in the North York area in Toronto and was hoping for suggestions in a good, reasonably priced family friendly neighborhood in the area keeping in mind commutes (don’t mind a 30 min/45min commute), school districts etc. Thanks for any help provided! Omo, start applying now…use kijiji and marketplace…house hunting is no joke…we landed exactly 2 weeks ago, finally got our rental application approved yesterday. From my experience I would say start applying like a month before your intended moving date because most apartments will tell you it will be ready in a month or two and not immediately. How we got ours within 2 weeks was just God’s Favour 5 Likes |

Same here, landed 2 days ago with my family… been searching on kijiji and rent faster but nothing yet, most apartments I’ve seen, after calling up the landlord they tell you it is no longer available….so why is it still listed na Oga.. 1 Like |

Kagame:
This is the most sensible suggestion. Assuming her due date is in a month time
• There’s no guarantees she would get her stamped passport in a month. Even if she decides to use Accra direct or Cairo, she might experience an exceptional delay.
• A lot of airlines will not allow you to fly in your last trimester, especially with a very close due date. More so , air travel is now an extreme sport with all the COVID tests and country specific requirements like quarantine etcetera.
From recent trends, as long as her application is finalized, adding an extra dependent will not overly delay the application compared to those whose application are still in processing.
Better to have her child here with peace of mind. IRCC will always reissue PPR for sure.
Seconded! |

Fineire: Sabi mothers... I noticed my son's eyes is no longer bright ... Infact it is far from white as compared when he was born, i noticed it itches him because he is always using his hands to rub to. This started when he was about 7 month,(whenever he wants to bring out a new teeth). After a while the colour gets better but eyes not bright white. I have tried giving him vitamin A, increased his intake of fruits, egg e.t.c. But no improvement. He will be two by March,i want to take him to the hospital but his father keeps insisting nothing is wrong with him,all he needs is multivitamins plus the eyes will clear up after he is done teething... Biko has anyone experienced this? What did you do? I haven’t experienced this but please let him see an eye doctor o…it’s better any issues are discovered early enough (hopefully there is nothing wrong with his eyes) @ everyone, I have very neatly used car seats, nursing pillow and baby cot for sale at giveaway prices…email me if interested please |

DooLiz: Please post PPR, can one send their documents to Accra VO from Nigeria? Is it faster than sending to Lagos ? How can one make payment? Will they accept transfer from a dollar account? Since I don't know anyone in Ghana to make payment for me at the bank there. How do I write my eyes and height color? On a plain sheet of paper hand written or typed? Or is there a form I can fill with those details? There is a height/color chart you are to use…see attached 1 Like 1 Share |
