OPC or whatever you call yourself, we're in 2015 not 1815! OPC to still believe in their st*upid "gods" in 21 century, shows they've sick barbaric mentality.

They claimed Igbokwe insulted their useless oba and they didn't mention that their st*upid oba or owa (whatever they call him) threatened and insulted Ndigbo, a whole ethnic yroup, the largest and most progressive in Nigeria for that matter!

Does that mean all Igbo deities, including Amadioha the god of thunder and lightening, strike their st*upid oba and all who disrespected Ndigbo? I guess that's the type of OPC barbaric mentality, right?

Did their st*upid oba apologize? NO.

Igbokwe was right to declare OPC, a gang of thugs and hoodlums. You know truth hurts sometimes. OPC knows Igbokwe was being truthful, but because of their hate for anything IGBO, they didn't let it slide.

the igbos largest ethnic group in Nigeria? you must be dreaming/wishing... yeah the igbos are the most progressive in arm robbery, drug trafficking, selling fake/sub standard product and in fraud
stupid Igbos. senseless pple.. n u r a great fool 4 insulting the yoruba pple

dagrin was like 2 pac, 50 cent...dagrins music was full of emotion. he speaks on situation of things in d country(listen to democracy) both bout pple not keeping it real in hip hop(listen tu fo e e soro)...in summary he is Nigeria 2 pac....he had lyrics dat made sense( lyrical were)
he did not live long yet he had great impact, great features in few yrz...only if he had live longer. but died early just like his mentor 2 pac shakur.

for those comparing Olamide to Dagrin
first compare 2 pac tu eminem wat do u get? wat ever u get shld b d ans 2 diz 2... dey were kings in their own time.
it shld b made clear dat dey r different
Olamide is more like lil wayne n eminem olamide style is
(aggressiveness n high pitch rap;thats SWAG, some persons jst wants his down fall criticising saying he makes noise, bla dis n dat, forget it dats same reason many pple love him: for his aggressiveness n energy )

so Olamide took over from him.
if dagrin was to b alive dagrin ll b no1,
why olamide ll b no 2 on d list, dats for those saying if dagrin was alive olamide wldnt blow, not true...
olamide energetic n aggressive style displays his emotion in dz way,
he also plays well wif word's..

case close.

Pls can someone mention Wole Soyinka's works that qualified him for a nobel award and even this list of top 10 Nigerian writers. I think he has been enjoying the fruits of Yoruba tribalistic politics!

so it was the yoruba's that gave wole soyinka the nobel price of literature right?
wole soyinka is number one in Nigeria.

1. Chinua Achebe (1930-2013)

‘If you don't like someone's story, write your own.’

Chinua Achebe is one of the most internationally-acclaimed writers from Africa, and his death in 2013 saw an outpouring of tributes from across the globe. Though he has often been called ‘The Father of Nigerian Literature’, he twice refused the Nigerian government’s attempt to name him Commander of the Federal Republic– first in 2004, then again in 2011 – in protest against the political regime of the country. His first novel Things Fall Apart(1958)is an intimate account of the clash between African native traditions of the Igbopeople in southeastern Nigeria and European colonisation. Weaving together oral tradition with Igbo folk tales, Achebe’s works reveal a tapestry of cultural norms, changing societal values, and the individual’s struggle to find a place in this environment.

2. Wole Soyinka (b. 1934)

‘The greatest threat to freedom is the absence of criticism.’
When Wole Soyinka, a playwright,J poet and writer won the Nobel Prize in Literaturein 1986, Achebe joined the rest of Africa to celebrate the first African to receive the award. dazangel12:

I don't think so brother if anything the Igbo's protested by not giving Gej the large bulk of votes he gathered in 2011 there is no doubt they don't like buhari and have genuine reasons not to trust him. so they just protested against Jonathan by not voting at all.

you can agree with me that their turnout were low

contrasting ideal here, if they don't want buhari, it means they have to make sure by all means they voted heavily for gej, which was what they actually did...you are saying they went against gej? by not voting at all? if they dont want buhari, how are they going to vote him out? are you trying to wipe off d fact that d SE voted 4 gej alone? as shown in d result. they dont want buhari? yes clear from d vote.
stop trying to twist logic here, they voted based on sentimental line period

You've said it all. As long as Nigeria is concerned, the average person makes his decision on tribal and religious sentiments. Anyone denying this is a liar. The majority of the Yorubas weren't neutral in this election, they rooted for GMB. If it's a Hausa/Igbo combo, the reverse would have been the case. So tribalism is our way of life, and until it's eliminated, Nigeria will never grow to its desired heights.

Yet jonathan won in ekiti state a SW state? Lagos gave jonathan enough vote, all SW state gave jonathan reasonable large amount of votes, pls get ur fact right

Once again i congratulate Buhari for emerging Nigeria's new president and also Jonathan for conceding. Both are African records.

Now, i've been seeing comments about Igbos flying all around from nairaland to social media sites and it's really pitiful that Nigerians can descend to such levels of hypocrisy. I for one have wondered why Igbos believe so much in Jonathan. it actually beats me. But i realized that's the beauty of democracy. You never just understand why people support the other candidate and you probably will never understand. They also don't understand why you're supporting your own candidate. it's a two way street. My major grouse is the fact that people are tainting the support of majority of Igbos for Jonathan as a tribal thing and i'm like WTF. How can it be tribal even when the person they're supporting is not even Igbo. It's hypocritical that Buhari swept the North just like he did in 2011 and nobody is accusing them of tribalism considering that Buhari is hausa/Fulani but you're accusing a tribe that supports someone who's not their tribesman for tribalism. You can accuse these people for anything but never tribalism. They reserve the unapologetic right to support who they deem fit and it's not anyone's business.

Congrats Buhari

Deceiving urself
D voting in SE was sentimental, not even enough vote for d opposition, i see bcz d president bears igbo names: ebele, azikiwe right?
D SW voted massively for pdp tho they dont have yoruba person as either d president/vp

D NW, NE is not excluded from bn sentimental
And d SS except for EDO

NC was good as well, no tribalism

And who told u d north are not bn accused of tribalism, tho they r still better than d ss/se cz they voted 4 d opposition a little......do u hav tv, radio?
