She got her degree in ILR but would like to go to an aviation school in Canada to get a Commercial Pilot License. My question to the house on her behalf is; would this be acceptable to the immigration officer? How does she defend transferring from ILR to Aviation? Between she's 29yrs old. Thank you all in advance for your anticipated opinion(s).

Bro was denied earlier today because he claimed to be a student in Malaysia but the visa isn't on his new passport. He has a copy of his visa page as the old passport has been stolen. Can he reapply immediately and state this in reason for previous denial? The conference he is attending is from July 12. Candid opinion would be appreciated!

Bro was denied today at the consulate in Lagos because his new passport does not carry the Malaysian visa he claimed to have. He has a copy of the visa but he didn't take it along. His conference is July 12-13, should he reapply immediately and hope to be able to show them proof of his Malaysia visa? What can be done? Thanks in advance!

Opinions kindly needed on a travel issue. My friend got his B1/B2 denied recently but gained admission to a school in the US almost at the same time. The controversy is if it's advisable to reapply on F1 anytime soon or stick to B1/B2 and hopefully he could change to F1 when he gets to the US. Meanwhile, his initial denial was because he claimed to have travelled before but mo proof on his passport as he had the stamped passport stolen. He has a copy of his visa but didn't present it to the consular. Should he go back on B1 and see if he can find a way to show proof? Sorry for the epistle but candid opinions would be appreciated! My brother just git back from Malaysia to take over my mum's company. He studied Business Administration in Malaysia and would like to attend a workshop in the United States on becoming a supervisor. He submitted an application last month but his passport got missing before his interview date so he could not attend. Now he found another workshop he could attend but he's worried about the previous interview he missed. What can be done? Thanks!

Hello NLanders, I touched down in America with no stress whatsoever. My school resumes next week and classes begins immediately. I have a question i really need the gurus in the house to put me through on; I need to change my major from anthropology to Business administration and i can't afford to lose a penny on anthropology. I intend to enrol for Bus Admin classes straightaway and then go about the changing. How advisable is that step?

I made God my lifeline and he didn't disappoint. My Visa was granted in an interview not up to two minutes this morning at Abuja. No document was requested. It went down thus;

Me: Masters in Applied anthropology

Me: The course 'll give me the golden opportunity of becoming the first lecturer of applied
anthropology in my undergraduate school where I read sociology. Also, it won't only make me an astute teacher who can teach her students how to read and write but also inculcate in them the application of anthropological methods and theories to human practical problems.

VO: smiles...how many schools did you apply to?
Me: 4

VO: Can you name them?
Me: Montclair State University, New Jersey; University of Texas, San Antonio; University of Ibadan and San Jose State University

VO: Who's sponsoring you?
Me: My aunt

VO: Pick up your visa on tuesday and she handed me the pickup slip

Hello house,pls does anybody know where the secretariat is in Port Harcourt? Besides, is the form available for disbursement in PH? My house is far and I can't imagine going to the secretariat and coming back emptyhanded. Any reasonable info wud be appreciated.
