Yet to find where to buy African food in Brisbane. Getting tired of all this junk meal. Abeg, anybody near brisbane should tell me where I can get African food ooh, and please don't tell me to read all the whole post to find it, Lectures and assignment has not given me enough time to explore this town.

The main area I go to buy African foods is in a suburb in Brisbane called Moorooka. Its called Onan Global foods. Google it there. Some Asian supermarkets carry Indomie- the Indonesian version, but its pretty much the same as Naija own. Buying African foodstuffs is a little expensive here, but if you are desperate, it's an option....

1. Aborigines in this country have been given back the majority of their tribal land.
2. They dont do anything meaningful to contribute to this society.
3. White people would love them to go back to their traditional ways so they would not be such a drain to the system.
4. As long as time itself, people have been "invading' other countries. White people could have killed the local black population, but instead offered them a different way of life. If they didnt want to accept our way of life, they were also given the opportunity to live on their traditional land without our interferance. Unfortunately, they f**cked up both.

Just cos you share the same skin colour does not mean you share the same mentality. Blacks here are given endless opportunities, but they still dont take them.

The protest was just another example of the stupidity of the "Aborigines" in Australia.
40 years ago, 2 Aborigines set up camp near Parliament house, as they were protesting about land rights.
Since then, Aboriginal people are favoured in regards to home loans, education, health care, jobs, the list is endless.
However, they are stupid and still carry a chip on their shoulders.
Their "invaders" have made Australia the best country in the world, and they still hate white people and all that we have done.
Abeg, take them to Africa, make them see REAL poverty and hardship,

@Opiacino: its not compulsion, its a choice. its my choice. yeah well the thing about staying in a foreign land sucks right, its like if you are abroad, you tend to miss the craziness back home and if you are back home you get to miss the "sanity" of living abroad. so it works for some and for others it doesnt. I guess I will enjoy this country to the best of my understanding/ability and like i asked, see you soon perhaps?

Im a white australian, met my husband through some friends, he is from Rivers State, if all Nigerians were like him then there would be soooo many happy women! His family are all really kind too.

Nigerians in Sydney are mostly Igbo trouble makers.
Australia is boring. You will be lonely, sad, hungry and missing Naija.
Dont fool yourselves by thinking that Australia is the best place to be.
Nigerians here are scattered- few and far between.

There is no such thing that an agent will guarantee an Australian visa. Im an Australian citizen (oyibo) and my husband has been denied a tourist visa twice. Dont waste your money on agents.

Depends which visa you need. You need to gather the required documents (as outlined on the Aus govt website www.immi.gov.au); then send them via DHL to the Aus embassy in South Africa. Good luck.

I live in Aus, its expensive. Look at spending about 500 dollars per week just for rent, food, power, transport.
