I must say fairness and equity are not the stock-in-trade of the Project Fame W/Africa this season.

I followed the auditioning with keen interest and was surprised that Felicia Adedokun (from Seirra Leone) was eliminated at that final round. EVERYBODY, judges inclusive, were certain her performance was the best that evening. Yet, "favouritism", I believe, came into play. I was privy to some conversation "in-house" around the events of that evening, and let me just say, that was the last time I watched the show.

I believe an injustice was done on that particular day, and this, for me, has taken away every shred of credibility Project Fame has built for itself.

I just wonder what rationale was behind the move. If it has to do with the performance of the people, then who are we to question the move? No one will want to just pay salaries and not get value for money (All the budding enterpeneurs had better take note.) This is why sentiments are not to be attached to business.

Supervisors must be graduates with at least 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role. Having worked in the showroom industry is an added advantage. Must also be conversant with electronic appliances.

Showroom representatives are expected to be very presentable, with good oral communication skills. Least acceptable education level is OND. Must also have a flair for handling electronic appliances. Also must have a flair for customer service.

Secretaries must have the requisite experience in handling secretarial duties and preparing schedules. Necessary skills also apply.

Cashiers should be knowledgeable about handling an organisation's finance. Some bit of experience will come in handy.

The ECOBANK thing is dicey. No one knows really what happened to that set. I've followed that particular set up with keen interest and I must tell you that they've done othe recruitment processes after that. But there was one person from that group who was asked to answer the online profile questions. So, that is all I know.

Well,

The ideals of governance are not based on sentiments, but on what you see as veritable proof of progress in your community.

I am from Ogun State, and I can say that the Governor is building up to a new climax this second term.
First of all, I did not vote for him, but only a fool will see what is happening in his vicinity and say its not there.

I go to Abeokuta every weekend, so I've seen developments gathering momentum. The latest I just discovered was that there is about to be an ICT revolution, as we have started assembling our own computers (GICT Computers). This is the beginning, and I hope to be there when it all flourishes.

So I will score him 65% (The percentage level is low because the major road to my area is blocked for dualisation, and I have to go around and round the long way!!! )

So someone who knows please prove me wrong.

Thank you. But what benchmarks do we work with when asked the ultimate question? I've heard people ask for 80k in industries that only pay 45k tops for entry level, and they lose the position. So what figures can we say will work for particular disciplines?

I'm good with these answers. Like adechucks says, if we look at industries, they differ. But does anyone have an idea of entry level pay range for Human Resource professionals?
I also have someone going into a medium sized one-man business as Personal /Confidential Secretary(2 years experience) and she is being offered N35k. Is that good enough?
