hello house, please I need ur advice here. I applied to a school in the US and they asked for a financial sponsor's bank statement, it is stated that the sponsor must have $22980 on it dis equals 4.9million naira or thereabout.
I intend to use my step dad's bank statement for this but he presently has 3.1million naira on it. However as at JULY 27nd his bank statement was 5.2million naira.
Advice me house, which of these statements should I use?

Those that has experienced this should pls chime on this, I beg u, cos am sending over the documents 2morro.
Thanks

hello friends, I av two questions
1. how does one send a bank statement of account to a school in US? Am thinking it I ll just scan and send, but am not sure if this is the right way.
2. How does one submit d Sevis form to the address giving on the sch's website? Since I don't av anyone over there and it's impossible for me to go over to submit it in person.

This is my first application.

Lie lie and lie. I'm a product of the school, I entered in 2010 and graduated in 2014 though I must admit that the school is presently undergoing serious challenges but it's still one of the best in terms of academic excellence.

Were you supposed to resume by 2010? Your academic session was meant to start by 2009 but you were denied that and made to stay home till 2010 sequel to the 7months strike during Prof Hussien's tenure saga.
Can you recall hw many time the school was shut down indefinitly within the 4 year stint (2010-2014)? But yet they recorverd that, by 'rushing' some of your academic sessions- 6weeks per semester, at your own (students) detriment.
The guy was right abt the X stuff. dnt get it twisted.

You're welcome bro; As regards Test Centres. I think there's French Connection Ajah and JKK House at Ilupeju.

Anyways, you'll get to select a Test Centre while registering for a test. Most likely; JKK House, Ilupeju is your best bet.

Thanks, I think I ll go the JKK house...am grateful.

Simply visit www.ets.org/gre ----->Click 'Register For A Test(General) -----> Create a Profile(if you haven't)----->follow the remaining instructions.

The exam would cost you $195 (About 39,750naira but subject to current Forex rates). Have the naira equivalent(40,000naira may be enough) in an account activated for Online payments via Paypal or Visa Card.

P/S: It is advisable to use a Windows Internet Explorer or Google Chrome... So you don't have issues with the 'payment page'

Thanks so much bro...am very grateful. But what about the the test centre, do I get to choose the one of my choice? I reside in Lagos. Can I do it at Chams city, ikeja?

I think I agree to this, asking out may only put him into a tight corner. She may start acting up all girly and bring in shakara. Let him just assume they are a pair since they are communicating reasonably. He should keep doing what boyfriends do and at some point steal a kiss. That settles it.

I think I av found an answer here.

Thanks guys

There you have it nairalanders...a freind of mine seeked my opinion about him asking out his long time crush out on valentine's day OR somedays to Val day (Say like 3 to 4 days). Actually I was perplexed myself n didnt knw what to tell him cos am nt too much of an expert when it comes to LOVE and RELATIONSHIP...so on his behalf I am tossing the question out to the experts here, what would you advice?
Here is jst some few things u may want to knw; he met d girl abt 3months ago, and they've since then maintained a fair communication n they've been physically together for abt 5times.
NYSC / Re: FG Allocates N500 Daily Feeding Allowance For Corp Members by OriginalJ: 6:53pm On Oct 23, 2014
N500 X average of 30 days monthly= 15000
Plus monthly Alawance= 15000+ 19800 = 34800.
I strongly doubt if this administration can fufill this 'charade' promise, considering how many times they've sprouted corps members' hope on allowance increment, but eventually failed to do so.

Dear Nairalanders, I will be sitting for GRE exam by this time next year, but I have got Barron's GRE 18th Edition for practise. I am aware that the latest edition is the 20th.
I really need hints from perhaps those that has taken the test before.
I tried to get the 20th edition here in Lagos but didnt find any. So my question is can I practise with the 18th edition?

ATTENTION SEEKER

Poised was how everything seemed
Until her arrival
Like a flash of light in the dark she gleamed
Pilfering the thoughts in every guy's heart.

There she sat with a sprawling posture
All eyes on me says the legendary Tupac.
But her mimes purported all dudes on me; you guessed right, for pleasure.
Expectedly she got what she wanted: ATTENTION.

Omolabake is her birth name,
But she prefers to be called 'Crispy'
She seems so allergic to looking natural
Even though she's got cloth on, she's as unclad as a baby

Like a typical hooker
She's got tattoos on her front cleavage
Could she be likening herself to Rihanna?
Perhaps she is, but she's not as endowed
She's just an ATTENTION SEEKER.

The reg/process na world war 3 grin

Ppa immediately ke..no, u'll be given a date to come for ur ppa. But if u already have a ppa, u can come with request letter from that ppa and include it In ur registration file.

I must confess grin u are on a long thing.. those that came to submit their relocation letter today were asked to come on Monday to start registration.

#my advice, come b4 the end of the week to submit ur relocation letter.. so u can probably join them to start reg on Monday.

Thanks bro, actually the delay is about trying to get myself a PPA. So if i eventually get a request letter, I will be posted immediately to d PPA? Is monday not too late for that? (as in coming to register but with a request letter from a PPA of my choice)

hey guys, i am still a lil perplexed with d stream II arrangement...for those posted to the fragile states and have been promised an automatic redeployement to another state, are we going to get the redeployement letter (i.e to another state) immediately and proceed to our PPA or will we just go back home and go back to the camp again after 2weeks to get our redeployment letter?
Anyone with a very genuine info should pls respond to this.

saltinn: Just as the news broke out about the
death of another nurse among those who
attended to late Patrick Sawyer, this is
what one of the commentators on the
post has to say. To me, his assertion
seems convincing that's why I thought of
sharing it with you.
CHEMICAL TERRORISM
-Patrick Sawyer was under surveillance in
Liberia for Ebola
-Liberian govt said he escaped quarantine
and sneaked into Nigeria
-CCTV footage at Liberian airport showed
him avoiding contact with
people and at a point lying prostrate on
the floor looking like he was in
deep pain
-His sister with whom he had contact died
of Ebola that he was aware of
-When he arrived Nigeria he didn't avoid
contact with people rather he
allowed airport staff to carry him
-At the hospital in Lagos he allowed
medical personnel to treat him just as
they would any normal patient
-When asked if he came in contact with
an Ebola victim at the point he
started showing symptoms his answer was
negative
-When test confirmed the obvious and he
was confronted with the truth,
he reacted in a violent manner urinating
on the medical staff, at least one
of them
-Sawyer who was enroute to Calabar was
insistent on continuing his
journey despite his condition
-Liberian govt has apologised to Nigeria
for exporting Ebola to Nigeria
-Nigerian govt has approached US for the
ZMAPP test drug they used on
2 American health workers who
contracted the virus in Sierra Leone
-Obama said its too early to bring the
drug to Africa, that what Africa
needs is improved health facilities, yet
with all their improved health
facilities they chose ZMAPP for their own
-A vaccine for Ebola is underway we are
told and will be ready latest July
next year
-The vaccine will 1st be administered in
Africa, how generous and selfless
they are with the vaccine but not the
curative drug
-Is somebody thinking at all? -Dont forget
Sawyer was a Liberian
American with his family resident in
America
-If people in high places could volunteer
themselves as suicide bombers in
countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan
etc, do you think they can't
volunteer for chemical terrorism suicide
mission?
-The conventional terrorism exported to
Africa and heavily funded by them
to destabilize our economy and
depopulate us seem no longer enough
-God is watching but we too have to
watch our backs
-Should we trust them with their so called
vaccine when it comes?
-Africa, its time to start thinking, time to
start asking questions
-We have lived with monkeys,
chimpanzees, gorillas, wild animals that
have always been part of our delicacies
and never had ebola
-Why now and why always Africa. HIV/
AIDS in Africa 1st likewise ebola?
JUST THINKING ALOUD

Finnaly I sight you.
