Politics / Re: A Clarion Call For Seun To Rise Against The Call For Genocide By Helinues& Floki by owobokiri(m): 12:48am On Jun 26
WaleBuraimoh:
A call for genocide is an abhorrent and deeply inhumane proposition that must be unequivocally condemned. Genocide, the deliberate and systematic extermination of a particular group of people based on their ethnicity, religion, nationality, or other defining characteristics, represents one of the gravest violations of human rights and international law.

Firstly, Helinues and Flokii advocating for genocide against a particular tribe based on a fictitious and baseless write-up by an unknown moniker on Nairaland is fundamentally immoral and antithetical to the values of human dignity and respect for life. Every individual has an inherent right to exist and thrive, free from violence and persecution. Calls for genocide dehumanize entire communities, fostering hatred, fear, and division.

Secondly, history has repeatedly shown the devastating consequences of genocide, from the Holocaust to the Rwandan genocide. These atrocities have left scars that persist for generations, causing immeasurable suffering and loss. The owner of Nairaland, Seun Osewa , the Nigerian and international community has a moral and legal obligation to prevent such tragedies and to hold accountable those who incite violence such as the thread created by Helinues and supported by Flokii below;

https://www.nairaland.com/8135936/lagos-south-west-all-eyes

Moreover, promoting genocide undermines the very fabric of a civilized society. It breeds instability, perpetuates cycles of violence, and impedes the pursuit of peace and justice. Societies flourish when they embrace diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect.

In conclusion, a call for genocide by Helinues and Flokii on Nairaland is a direct affront to humanity's shared values and legal frameworks designed to protect human rights. It must be met with strong condemnation, legal action, and a collective commitment to fostering a Nigeria where every person can live in peace and security, regardless of their background.

SEUN OSEWA, Please do the needful!

What those guys are doing is called a "false flag" operation. They might have been told by their handlers to sway any potential attack or protests in Nigeria following these Kenyan riots by framing such as another attempt by the Igbo to dominate them. Igbos have always been their favorite fall guys because Igbos are too busy to return fire with fire to them. If you're not careful, you would think they are just rambling but I believe that all the major antagonists on that thread are working from the same room. Including some arguing as Igbos. These clan of agbadorians seem to really have an infinite morbid fear for the Igbos.. Pastor Bakare even told you guys how they planned to snatch Igbo houses in Lagos before the demolitions started.

The fulanis who fought the war with them have been bossing them politically since 1966, so much so you would think they also "lost" the war with Biafra. This sole opportunity that they have really had to be rulers, which was last year, they have been busy using that to taunt, attack and terrorize others. Folks wanted power not to lead but for some ego trips. Since bulabas inauguration, if they're not burning markets in Lagos, they are tearing down mansions to "save the environment", meanwhile all the squalid slum eyesores which litter the whole Lagos are left untouched because they are all populated in the main by our skull mining fellow kwantiri men. Folks wanted power to terrorize others and not to lead.

Fulani will win election and start looting in peace, but Agbadorians will hijack an election result and instead of looting in peace since looting is all they're good at, they're busy taunting, harassing, demolishing and irritating everyone else. No wonder the northerners are starting to plan. Agbadorians are trying to spoil market for them. Agbadorians have cornered all political positions yet they are not happy. Took everything that was supposed to go to Southern Nigeria for themselves. The same people will start a funny "Southern governors" forum once the northerners start to congregate at buharis house in other to make it look like there is something called "Southern unity"..

Una cup go full at the appropriate time

The only place where their is Benin influence is only one local government out of 20 local governments .

You're free to call Enugu, Kaduna or Calabar No Mans Lands too.
The constitution of Nigeria makes these areas some No Mans Lands .
Its what it's.. The constitution recognizes only people's ownership of property and notna tribal ownership of states! Get used to this, plss...
No part of the constitution dedicates Lagos or Owerri to certain people. All Nigerians are part owners of Nigeria! So says the constitution written by your uncles...
Maybe you should ask your uncles if this is not what they fought for when they fought for "One Nigeria"..

The topic shows that yorubas claiming Lagos contribute the least to Lagos development.
Niger delta appears to be the major contributors

Lagos is the financial capital of the country. As a result, the city is highly essential and strategic to Nigeria, in terms of serving as the clearing post for most foreign direct investments into the country. Its amongst the biggest economies in the continent, not because of the socalled policies of one inebriated mutant called Tinubu, but because of the massive infastructural investments in the state by the federal government. Investments that came directly from the collective commonwealth of the country.

Even as a "made state ", Lagos still collects some of the highest amounts from the federation accounts every month as allocations! It's the home to most of Nigerias entrepreneurs! Such a state, with all her strategic importance to the country, should never be surrendered to the hands of a creepy drug lord masquerading as an emergency democrat. Lagos should be left as distinct territory devoid of all sorts of worn out tribalistic claims. Ibadam is the capital of Yorubaland. Let them develop there.
Politics / Re: Why Are Nigerians So Docile by owobokiri(m): 10:54am On Mar 13, 2023
Not docile. Nigerians are not docile. Endsars protests should have explained this to you.
Just that the corrupt elite has mastered the art of "divide and rule". Most Nigerians are stuck with their tribal men in power because of ethnic solidarity. The same people that praise Tinubu today will definitely be against him if he is say Igbo or Tiv.
Its Tribalism! It has finished Nigeria. Inspite of the endless massacres in the north, folks up north will still vote for Buhari, once he is pitched say against Peter Obi or any other southerner.

The ruling elite understands this and has calibrated their politics to make sure that at every given time in the countrys politics, there must be some sort of agreement amongst two of the three major ethnic groups in the country, normally the Hausa fulani and the Yorubas,.. This has been the case since 1966. Once they get that "working agreement",, they will use the press to control the narratives and the army to maintain peace.
Very simple

Lagos is a No Mans Land!
Eko was/is a property of the Great Edo kingdom, so if we are even going to trace culturally trace the historic origins of Lagos, it will easily be proven that those on a land grabbing mission here are the Yorubas! Their fixation on Lagos is slowly turning into a grand threat to the nations security!

The capital of the former Western Nigeria is ibadam not Lagos! Lagos is a distinct political territory built and maintained for decades as Nigerias former political capital and now her economic capital. Things only changed with the movement of the seat of power from Lagos o Abuja in the early 90s and after Abachas national conference. That is the fact and tribal rabble rousers should desist from trying to rewrite history!

As long as Nigeria subsists as a collective union, Lagos will remain a No Mans Land! As the financial capital of the country, this state of status is essential. Infact, the federal government should wrestle Lagos from the Tinubu clan, who have now used obnoxious tax regimes and vintage agboroism to scare away genuine businesses and investors from the countrys financial/economic capital!

Politics / So, What If Lagos Is A "No Mans Land"!? by owobokiri(m): 10:14am On Mar 13, 2023
The laughable anti Igbo vituperations from some emergency Yoruba nationalists in recent times, regarding the notion that "Lagos is a no mans land", are nothing but testaments to a very peculiar strand of inferiority complex, that dominates not just the political mentality of a typical Tinubu follower, but also the total cultural outlook of the majority of the people living around the area in question! Obviously, this kind of re-tarded thinking is far more pronounced within the shameless agbadorian clan of the South West APC. The same set of urchins and partisan hirelings who genuinely believe that a renowned drug lord will be the best brain to lead a country of over three hundred million people out of poverty, while fighting corruption to a standstill!

If as an Igbo man, I walk into Kano city or Kaduna city or Abuja today, and say that these cities are "no mans land" because they are Nigerian cities, and that I consider myself, an Igbo man from Imo State, as a bonafide member of these cities because I have lived in any of those areas for years, no one in those cities will consider me a threat! None will worry because they know where the assertion is coming from! Most will likely laugh at me and move on! It is a testament to their cultural confidence, their self belief and serious mindedness that they were/are not threatened by my harmless submission. Infact, in Kano state, there is a part of the state capital called ""Nomasland"!!! Foreigners live in the Sabon Gari parts of the city, where they can shout "Kano is a no mans land" from morning till night without being interrupted by anyone. You know why? Kano indigenes are self assured of their ownership of their "homeland"!! They are not dragging their land with anyone..

How many times have you heard of the original owners of Abuja complaining of not being respected as "the hosts" and "the accommodators" of other Nigerians? The former Emir of Kano used to invite the local Eze Ndigbo to different cultural activities in his palace. Dude was never feeling threatened! Never in the history of some of these other major cities in Nigeria has any rampaging tout parading around as an "Accommodator in Chief", gone out on election days to use force in other to influence voters from other parts of the country living in "their land", to vote according to the whims and caprices of the socalled "sons of the soil". Yorubas in different parts of Nigeria, from Onitsha through Calabar to Maiduguri, all voted for their candidates without any sort of disturbances! Yet, it was only in Lagos that we were all treated to the theater of the absurd, as a well choreographed plan was unleashed to frighten "immigrants" from voting against the wishes of the "locals".

Local tribalists in Lagos will sell their lands to an Igbo man for the most exorbitant prices you can imagine, use the money for all sorts of hedonistic owambe lifestyles, including spraying Wasiu nonstop, and when the tap runs dry, they will start shouting that "igbos are trying to snatch their Lagos"!!! You see people selling some marshy pieces of swampy and derelict plots in rundown parts of Lagos for the same prices you will get a beachfront estate in Dubai and Miami! They make billions from these every year, but are not satisfied with the buyers, because the buyers forgot to bow to them after paying duely for their spaces! Where is this done? At every turn, you have a wierd looking character determined to remind you that "Lagos belongs to the Yorubas" with all their revolting owomida madness! The question should be; why are you fidgeting!? I thought you claim to be the most sophisticated? Why are you burning markets at night to prove your "sufferstication"? Or Could it be that you have been lying to yourself all along?

How many times since 1979 have you guys voted for any Igbo candidates?

Udom Emmanuel cancelled Labour Partys win in Akwa Ibom just to impress Atiku Abubakar as his campaign chairman. Akwa Ibom, a state that was bound for greatness under the Labour Party government is now in a political limbo because of the desperate attempt by a wayward governor to impress his northern lords. Peter Obi was already talking about opening the Eastern ports to help instigate rapid economic growth. Beneficiary states are supposed to be Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Delta states. But their governors were all enmeshed in all sorts village political power show.
Big shame!

Politics / APC Should Stop Trying To Blame Peter Obi For What They Did To Atiku Abubakar by owobokiri(m): 8:40am On Mar 01, 2023
If you are keenly following the current narratives from The APC attack dogs, you would have noticed that the evil party is trying to create the impression that it was Peter Obis movement to The Labour Party from The People Democratic Party, that was responsible for the inability of the PDP to win this election. Essentially, these clan of riggers are trying to build up a laughable impression that if Peter Obi stuck with Atiku, The PDP would have won. What they are trying to do is to make it look like there are symptoms of genuineness in the bizarre results just announced by the ridiculously corrupt Independent National Electoral Commission.

This is very laughable because it was not Peter Obi that intentionally compromised the whole electoral process just to enhance the fortunes of the candidacy of the ruling party. It was not Peter Obi that turned on the BVAS airplane mode without alerting Nigerians, thereby making it hard for electoral officers to upload results real time. It was not Peter Obi that sanctioned the ridiculously corrupt manual transmission of votes without informing other parties involved in particular and Nigerians in general. And most importantly, it was not Peter Obi that wrote all sorts of fictitious results all over the country and presented them as the results of the elections, contrary to the true results coming from Party representatives at the pooling booths!

Infact, if we look at what happened in places like Lagos, Nasarawa, Platue, together with the brazen suppression of votes in such places as Rivers State, Akwa Ibom and the whole Eastern states, it is safe to say that Peter Obi did better than Atiku Abubakar in this election and that Atiku Abubakar should be the one to step down for Mr Obi and not the other way round. Atiku was struggling in the north that was supposed to be his home turf! He was not outrigged or outhustled by the Labour Party there, it was the incumbent Party that was derailing his every move. Essentially, with or without Obi, Atiku would have been outhustled by The APC in the North and in The East, since the ruling party was using state apparatuses in their evil acts.

APC should spare Mr Peter Obi for a second in their bewildering dance of shame that is already turning Nigeria into the butt of jokes globally. They should find other inventive ways to hide their electoral heist. Peter Obi comes from the Eastern part of the country, a region that has not governed this country since the 60s. He has every right to run for the presidency of the country and he did so by running the most honest and issues based campaign in the history of this lugardian contraption. Those who "made Atiku not to win", are those who followed him from state to state, undercutting his electoral gains while inflating the numbers of the agbadorian candidate of the Evil ruling party! INEC that transformed into a ruling party collaborator should also hang their heads in shame !

Leave Mr Peter Obi alone..
