If I am to pick my Group of Death, I will pick Grp D - England's Grp. In Grp G, you have two clear favorites - Germany & Portugal except surprises happen. In Grp D, you only have one clear goner - Costa Rica Also, Grp C, Ivory Coast's group is another Grp of Death - Group of Equals , no clear favorites Nigeria has a relatively easy but tricky group and should take a lot of caution and not be complacent in our preparations |
Politics / Re: Muslims In Jos Protest Film On Prophet Mohammed by owochy(m): 8:55pm On Sep 13, 2012 |
As provoking as the film is, it doesn't warrant these senseless killings and protests....For those hiding behind the keyboards of their laptops and in the comfort of their homes to support this madness, Ur passion for your beloved Islam and prophet will be better understood if you can also publicly start your own protest and killings in your immediate environment like the misinformed mallam!!!!! I hope your immediate relatives get consumed in one of this madness |
Politics / Re: You Are A Sinking Man, Reps Blasts Otedola by owochy(m): 5:12pm On Jun 17, 2012 |
Questions we should ponder about before making our speculative judgements: Would Farouk Lawan be that 'smartless' to pressurize Otedola into giving bribe if there are no/other incriminating facts against him aside the Forex claims he dangled in front of Otedola Would the HOR have re-listed Otedola's companies for EFCC's investigation if they don't have info they are VERY sure will nail him upon investigation Assuming Otedola was correct in alleging Farouk didn't share the bribe alone, do u think the conspirators won't have other info unknown to Otedola that can nail him incase he goofs Why do you think the HOR was exhuming so much confidence in re-enlisting Otedela's companies in the probe report, referring them to EFCC for further investigation & laughing during the emergency session to debate the bribery allegation Why do you think the Media spokesman of the HOR was so confident in calling Otedola a SINKING man Foruk Lawan has soiled his hands in seeking or collecting the bribe money as alleged by Otedola & the HOR has handed him his punishment pending further indictment after prosecution if any but Otedola may not find events that will subsequently unfold funny at all. The HOR is a den of very smart people & a cult...Just hurt one of their own and you may live to regret it (ask Oteh) My Opinion |

Nigerians applauded the Arab Spring but are very quick to adjust to their own govt's civilian dictatorship & oppression, This is one country whose citizens have accepted crimes, corruption, govt's oppression & ineptitude as a way of life. Truly we deserve the kind of leaders we get. When pushed to the wall they either break the wall or climb over it to keep running, Haba. Instead of supporting those that still have the balls to challenge govt's policies or shut their dirty traps, they analyse along religious & tribal lines, Fela, Gani & some well meaning activists have been fighting these injustice & oppression since the 70s & our philosophy as a people still hasn't changed - what kind of leaders does one expect from a cursed bunch of followers!!!!! Martin Luther King & Desmond Tutu were both clergymen when they led protests against black segregation & apartheid regime in the US & SA respectively. What is the problem with a pastor leading a protest or politicking, haba. Some of us have decided to grow up & focus on the message & not the messenger irrrspective of religious, tribal or political leaning, to resist oppression, challenge govt's policies & ultimately refuse poverty, corruption etc as a way of life. PTB, u shall never know sorrow for the rest of your God blessed life |

The blood of "the" innocent corpers must continue to haunt them politicians and Nigeria until justice is seen to be done. The weakling of our president will as usual tow the coward line and allow injustice to prevail. I can bet he will dissapoint his admirers because the destructive ideologies of the PDP will always influence his decisions. The future of this perceived "GREAT COUNTRY" is no where near change |
