princelynx: When you have an application sent in at the uscis stage it's only yours. At the NVC stage, your dependents if any, spouse, children are asked to submit their civil documents. So technically speaking, they get to enjoy the EB3 rights with you and you get to travel with them. You only get to pay back the cost of filing for them to your employer when you start working(depending on the company) that is if you didn't pay for these outrightly from your pocket during the process. |

ifyliz: Once Cgfns receives a requirement from you, it takes additional 25 days to be effected on your page. I know they are currently experiencing high influx of applications, this may also add to the delay. Keep checking your page for updates and exercise patience. Waiting is a beast, I know. 1 Like 1 Share |

AjaoSandra: If the board gets your CES report from CGFNS, then that has fulfilled that requirement. So you only do it once. But if your CES report has expired, then u need to send the verification form back to council to verify to Texas or pay CGFNS again to send another CES report which contains the required licence information. I believe the requirement states CES report or licence verification from home country. In a nut shell, since the council is verifying your licence to CGFNS, and then Texas, the required info is right there. So, no need to verify twice. 1 Like |

IYIMAN: Nope. It was only H1b visas that premium processing was stopped. For Nigeria, our priority dates remain current and as such your application does not take up-to to stipulated 3-6months. 6weeks is OK if you do that encounter an RFE( request for evidence) on any of your documents. I know someone who was filed for first week of April at the USCIS, amazingly, she has been approved and has now gone to NVC, has even filled her visa forms and paid fees by the company that field for her. And it wasn't even premium processing that was used. Now, everyone's case is different ,I spent 3months at this stage cos if an RFE encountered but this is someone else with a lesser time. It varies. 2 Likes |

TheArchangel:You don't have a problem... I have a BSN too, but I only used my diploma, all the way. It's not as if the 2 are not useful, but I know that your diploma transcripts states more in terms of your clinical /practical work and time spent than the BSc would state Reason :you didn't start from year 1. My opinion, I stand corrected. |

TemmyAdeJosh:I had posted a link earlier on this forum about 2 pages back. It's on all US BON and their individual requirements most states don't accept any other evaluating body other than. Cgfns and besides they have a more acceptable reputation even though presently they havent been acting up-to expectation. If Nevada accepts Ierf ,good if not...... I would say stick with CGFNS, the devil you know. It would be better for you because it would be easier to proceed with visa screen since they have most of ur documents (licence and transcripts) instead of having to resend them again after having done CES with another body. 2 Likes |

finfol007:I received 2 RFE's at the uscis stage, at the NVC stage, encountered some missing documents I had to resend all over. Then the Trump immigration ban issue, sort of slowed the process. |

Well, I don't know what you mean by NLC. I just printed the forms off the internet, filled them as required. But I ticked the area that said "for candidates who reside outside Texas " as an international candidate. What I know is that; You do not qualify to apply online which maybe what you are trying to do as you are an IEN(internationally educated nurse). You only qualify to send in a paper application. So print out the application forms on TBON and get to it. *Endorsement means moving/transferring your licence to another state after you have been licenced by a state. This means you don't need to take nclex anymore just fulfil the requirements of the intending state and qualify for a license. Payment.... Yes, it requires money order or check drawn on a US bank. I was in the US when I processed mine so it wasn't much of a problem.just bought the money order from Walmart. You can forward your application to someone in the US, have them buy a money order of the stated amount and send along with the package (application) in the same envelope. You can pm me so I frwd TBON application instructions to you. |

TheArchangel:Rundown of the process is same all through as has been stated on this forum. IELTS CGFNS CES report (transcripts from SON, licence verification from nursing council) Apply to a BON and get approved after they receive CES Register for nclex with pearsonvue Get ATT Schedule and write your nclex Pass nclex Proceed to visa screen Get an employer /sponsor for EB3 (mine is passportusa) File i140 ( done by employer) Get application approved Attend interview at embassy Get visa approved and that's it. The steps outlined above is how I did mine. There are other routes too. Like going to the agencies direct like Avant, passportusa etc who will now prep you for nclex and all. Mine was solely DIY. 6 Likes 4 Shares |

AjaoSandra:1.when you get ATT, you choose a convenient date. Yes. You travel to write your exam, but do not over stay your initial stamp in which is about 6months on a B1/B2.. Getting ATT varies with BON. Got mine under 4hrs with Nevada, I then endorsed to Texas after nclex and afterwards West Virginia. Texas moves fast to give you a temporary or permanent licence once all your requirements are received on time. Likewise other states. |

finfol007:Sorry, my head is still processing many things. I140 filed April 2016 NVC Sept. 2016- Apr 2017 Interview &visa approval may 2017 Technically 13months. This is typical to my case as it encountered ability of delays. Others move faster if no delay encountered. |

finfol007:CES report not "the other one". CGFNS will tell you 10weeks after receipt of all documents. Got mine at the 13th week after much calling and shouting. Way back in April 2015 Though I heard they r really lousy this time around ranging from placing you on hold for long and not delivering on time . I know someone who paid for expediated service, instead of the stipulated 10days, she got it in 3weeks plus with plenty of shouting on the phone... 1 Like |
