In a special way I want to say thank u to all the mamas on this forum u all are amazing supporting and reaching out to each other God bless us all. For all the well wishes and prayers to me and my baby , thank u so much.To all my teamie that have put to bed i pray that your joy shall not be cut short, ur children will be all u prayed for and a lot more. To those still waddling may u encounter the hebrew women experience and the cry of ur babies bring u joy and fulfilment and good health to ur babies. To mamas in Waiting ie those in GTC I pray that the good Lord will locate u and change ur story soon.

B.S. PART2
On Saturday being 30th March I went to the market, came back and carried on with my chores while I was trying to UnCloth I saw about a teaspoon full of fluid trickle down to my leg. I never experienced my water breaking from my past pregnancies so I was quite surprised. This happened around 10pm so I thaught probably that on or before daybreak labour would have started fully. I slept and woke up at 6am and still no drama, Ok no problem let's me wait and see. Went for an hour walk dat morning to see if labour will start. Came back, cooked ate , still no contraction whatsoever. So we decided that we should go to the hospital later in the evening.
At about 7.45pm I got to the labour ward, met the nurses on duty and narrated my story to them and they were all mad at me for taking so long to come to the hospital. They asked to go see the Dr on call whom in turn placed a call to my consultant and he asked them to give me flgyl and 25mg mistoprostal at 12 midnight.
Ladies and gentlemamas, at this point I was already imagining the different shades of pain waiting for me and how to face them. I tried to paint the pictures in my head but told me its better experienced than imagined.
At 12 midnight I bounced gracefully into the labour ward, lay down on the labour bed and handed myself over. The mistoprostal was inserted and i went back to lying in ward. Fast forward to 2am I started contracting, went back to labour ward around4am the nurse checked and told me 6cm,she then ruptured my membrane. Me with all the pain I had gone true and all and she said 6cm coupled with the pain during membrane rupturing there and then i told them to keep their kit for family planning handy because I made up my mind that I no do again. The nurses laughed and told me am not serious.
After the rupture, the pain that followed was from another planet. It lasted till about 6 when I told the nurse I want to poo, she said dont o if I do I will rupture my cervics cos I was 8cm dilated. Me I said ok o that one is ur measurement because with the amount of pain am experiencing its irresistible to push so with the next contraction I just pushed with all my might and my baby girl came crying without any tear at about 6.20 am weighing 2.9kg at 39 weeks 5days. My dear sisters i still insisted on doing family planing right away to avoid stories that touch but they refused till six weeks.

My 40 weeks journey started unexpectedly around July last year. At 8 weeks malaria struck and it was a very horrifying experience . Went to the hospital then and was admitted and placed on arthesunate iv for 48 hours. After the malaria episode the rest of the first and second trimester was less dramatic apart from normal intimidation and special attention that comes with the pregnancy bump like jumping queues,receiving special attention at crowded places, in fact I really enjoyed flexing my bump that I miss being pregnant "rolls eyes"
Fast forward to third trimester I was overwhelmed with the weight of the pregnancy on me that I wished there was another way out coupled with the weather coedition. At 39 weeks I went for anc and I told my Dr that I would not want to exceed 40 weeks and he told me don't worry that if nothing happens by 40 week I should come for member sweep.

I welcomed my princess on the 1st of April at about 6:10am. All praise and thanksgiving to God Almighty.

Thanks dear. The beverage part is usually not taken into consideration especially ftms. Hmm I remember my first time , immediately baby came out exhaustion and hunger set in, can't forget the thickness of the tea I took that day.We exhaust all our energy pushing baby out so It's importance cannot be over emphasised. It's also advicabe to include malt drinks also.
General hospitals usually don't allow mothers start formulary immediately but the fail to understand that our body system are not the same, it could take some person up to 2 weeks if not more to produce enough milk to sustain baby especially those undergoing CS. In such circumstance one hasdevice means o so that one can have time to recover proper.

The Lord is our strength. Just feel I should highlight a few items we may likely forget as we are about zipping our bags.
*Baby FORMULA for the first few day in case ur breast doesn't respond immdiately
*slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste
*Beverages ie tea and milk
*Glucose
*Flask and hot water
Along with ur hospital bag.
Wishing us all supernatural delivery. It shall end in praise.

Bs: I gave birth today 19/3/19 at exactly 41 weeks, mild contractions started around 8 pm yesterday, so I was able to sleep through the night till around 4 am when strong contractions hit me, then I started seeing show, I stood up from bed around 5am to prepare my child for School, I cleaned the house, wash some clothes, prepare food even in the middle of contractions, when I got to a certain stage when contractions are stronger and closer, I told my husband it time we move to the hospital, we dropped our son in school around some minutes to nine, and we got to the clinic around past 9, I was checked n was told 6cm, the mid wife did sweep stuff, n I moved immediately to 8cm, at past 10 I was already 10cm, then I was moved to Labour room, to push con be wahala, I was there trying to push till to 11, and I baby poop, he was already stressed, I was helped with a cut, n pushed my baby out at exactly 10:50am, stitching was painful, alihamdulilah all end in praise, wish everyone save delivery.

A very big congratulations to all the March mamas on the birth of ur Los, may they be all u prayed for and more. To team April mamas happy warming up, hope we are all getting set. Can't wait for April to come already. Cappo jina24 how u?

Different strokes for different folk. Period returns at different times for different persons. Also its a bit irregular after giving birth. As long as u don't sense anything out of the ordinary except for the frequecy then i suggest u just observe urself a little more before panicking. 3 months is enough tine for ur period to return again. However not that at this rate it wont be difficult to concieve once u engage in unprotcted i intercourse and thats y its addvised to do family planing 6 week postpartum.
