This problem is peculiar to almost everybody that submitted the application document on the 3rd of August, 2015. I received this mail today
" Dear Sirs,

thank you for sending us your account opening documents.

We regret your account cannot be opened because the documents are not completly filled. You did not sign

the "Depositor Information Sheet"

A signature on all marked positions at the documents is mandatory.

The actual valid form is available for free download on our website.

Please fill this writeable PDF document completely and exclusively by computer and sign it in all spaces
with the description "Signature of account holder" and "Acknowledgement of receipt by the depositor".

A confirmation from the German Embassy is not necessary.

After reading through the mail, I checked the form I submitted at the embassy. I remembered signing all the spaces marked with 'signature of account holder' at the embassy and I never saw anything like 'Acknowledgement of receipt by the depositor' on the form.

I put a call through the phone number on the DB website and was told I cannot be helped unless I fill and send the form as instructed in the mail. Feeling helpless, I downloaded another form. Alas, the form was different from the one I submitted at the embassy. There is a separate page titled 'Depositor Information Sheet' where the space to sign the 'Acknowledgement of receipt by the depositor' is.
Surprised, I checked the date I downloaded the one I submitted, it was on the 28th of July,2015. So I guessed the application form must have been changed in the first week of August as at the time I submitted the 'old one'.

The new form has four spaces where the account holder would have to sign unlike the 'old one' with just two spaces. In addition, you cannot fill the new form with ink/pen, it must be 'Type-filled'

I am now left with no choice than to send another form to DB but not through the embassy.

If you have sent your application with the old form and have not received notification from DB, I will advise you fill the new form and send to DB address ASAP.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Mine contained the Depositor's information sheet.

I suggest you take out time to read this thread thoroughly. This issue has been answered in the past. Most German schools Don't accept waec/neco for admission into B. Sc.
Well I think I read where it was stated that you can apply using your 100 transcript but I guest it might be a little complicated since you have completed your studies. Not withstanding that is perhaps except you want to consolidate on your waec with the German equivalent for admission to B. Sc. can't really recall what it is called now. Again please do yourself a favour by reading through the thread.

Please house I've bee meaning to ask this question. Does the embassy give specific date before which you cannot travel? What's the consequence of this especially if after being granted the visa, the departure date you're given is after your enrollment period? In his case can anything be done?

Well I applied for M. Sc Economics same course I studied in my B. Sc., made a 2.1 BTW. Still waiting for their response. Buh thank God for the other admission letter else by now, I still wouldn't have booked an appointment with the Embassy. It is well.....

The next available date for student visa appointment is September 29th. The student visa processing time takes 4-6 weeks.
You will be late for your studies and I would therefore advise you to contact your university and see if it is possible to defer your admission to the upcoming summer semester 2016 so you have sufficient time to credit your blocked account and apply for your visa.

However, if you insist, we will of course give you a student visa appointment nevertheless, but note that it will be waste of your money and time.

I applied for an interview/appointment on Tuesday 11.08.2015 and was given 21.09.2015.
My school's enrollment deadline is 16.10.2015. Classes begin 19.10.2015. However enrollment closes definitively on 30.10.2015.

I'm also in a fix. I don't want to assume the definitive closing date in order to be on a safe side.
I honestly hope and pray that it all ends in praise!

Please can you please specify how exactly, the documents should be arranged?
Should they come before or after the visa application form (because the list states ONE IN EACH APPLICATION FORM),
where should we place other documents like biographically old documents, school leaving certificates etc?
where are we to write our email and phone number at the back of the form
finally what is the passport photo specification?

First, ensure you have around 6000usd to pay for your program and then pay the minimum requested into university bank ALONE not agent bank. Ensure you have accommodation for about 2 years and ensure you have minimum of 200usd monthly at least to sustain you. Ensure you have flight fee.


Steps: After you have paid the tuition, wait for confirmation from the university, proceed to Turkish embassy website for visa requirements and apply for visa, fly to Cyprus and start school, study well, pass with good grades and gather exceptional skills, graduate and go back home to rule your world..

I just received my letter of acceptance from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus to study M. Sc in Economics with thesis. I was given 50% discount on tuition fee.

How much is the fee per annum for M. Sc in Economics with thesis? I was asked to deposit $4, 000. Does this cover tuition for the entire duration of the program (2years)?
What's the minimum amount I'm expected to spend to get settled including the required $4, 000, accommodation and ticket fee
Thirdly what are the steps I need to take from now on?
