Family members would have to go back home if cos not from nhs. My friend just got his dependant visa rejected and that of his kids. Only the wife has visa sponsorship. The only mistake they made was not applying for post graduate visa before the wife switched.

I actually thought EO roles can still be sponsored based on the new guildline with salary of 30,960 for going rate.

If the person is a fresh graduate it may be possible from what i gathered. but different civil service jobs hv their different pay grades

I'm assuming your new role is HEO based on the salary unless you're in London. You can go for SEO roles after some time - say, a year, or port to the NHS where you should be able to get a COS on a band 7 up role. Will take some effort but it's doable, especially if you have a graduate degree.

No. The role is EO. Still applying for H.E.O roles though. Hope something comes through though a friend told me that they usually take H.E.O from internal staff more than from external.

Even ‘gooder’ is the fact that the UK actually already actively have visa regimes to cater for these very vital sectors. So you see, the routes are already there. Just waiting to be explored and filled by immigrants.

1: The £39k needed for COS, is it to be earned by one person or the family together (husband and wife). There was an argument today where I was so I want to be sure

2: If a fresh graduate gets a job that pays about £31k, would the person be eligible for COS? Considering the fact that the amount isn't up to the new UK govt threshold but it's up to the new graduate threshold

Another factor is your wife... Is she nigerian? Cos a nigerian should understand to an extent how difficult it is for a student working 20 hrs is as well as how family life is in naija. but if your wife is a foreigner or white, she may not understand and is indirectly putting pressure on you. Could that be the case?

I'm not talking about the sim. I'm talking about second space like xiaomi has. Where one can have different apps and stuff. So if police stop person for road and check your phone, they would not see any banking apps cos it's in the 2nd space if you put it there

You are to pay for a service... Try paying for at least the cheapest service there... You'd get your appointment mail

Yes. She sees the appointment date she selected when she logs in. The only issue is there is no confirmation mail. We expected to get one as most people did

I read somewhere that the mail is to come immediately. We have checked mail inbox and spam messages but no message.. is this normal?
