Politics / Abia State Panel Indicts Obasanjo, Yar’adua, Goodluck, Others! by pblessed(m): 4:25pm On Feb 23, 2007
In a show of defiance and probably a tit for tat measure, the Abia state government announced today that a panel of inquiry it set up has indicted the President, general olusegun Obasanjo, the PDP presidential candidate, Musa Yar’Adua and his running mate Jonathan Goodluck among a host of others.

In a statement released to journalists today, the Abia state commissioner for Information Chief Anthony Agbazuere said “ The Administrative Panel of Inquiry set up by the Abia State Government to try the activities of various individuals from 1999 till date has submitted its report which has in-turn, been adopted by the Abia State Executive Council.”

Agbazuere, disclosed that the Council, after a thorough deliberation accepted the report of the commission and the accompanying white paper on the report.

Those he listed as indicted by the panel are: Chief Ojo Maduekwe, Hon. Mbah Ajah, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello, Alhaji Umar Musa Yar’Adua, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, Elder Iheanacho Okezie Orji, Chief Enyinnaya Abaribe and Chief Allen Nwachukwu.

Others are Chief Patrick Onwuka, Mrs. Victoria Akanwa, Chief Chijioke Nwakodo, Chief Chinwe Nwanganga, Henry Beleogu, Felix Ebere, Hon. Mao Ohuabunwa, Barr. C.S.L Nwosu, Mrs. Nkeiru Onyejiocha, Chief Tony Ukasoanya, Chief Friday Onukwue and Hon. Damian Ozurumba.

Agbazuere noted that the report has been gazetted and consequently, the indicted individuals stand disqualified from contesting any election in Nigeria.

He disclosed that the State Government derived its powers from the Panels Act of Eastern Nigeria 1958 which is applicable to Abia State and urged anybody who felt aggrieved by the actions of the State Government to head to the Courts for an interpretation of the relevant portions of the constitution.

The Abia State Government had on February 14, 2007 set-up a commission chaired by Mazi Donatus Okorie to investigate the activities of certain individuals from 1999 till date.

While submitting the report of the commission to Governor Orji Uzor Kalu on February 20, 2007, the Chairman of the commission, Mazi Donatus Okorie disclosed that 38 people were sent written invitations to appear before the panel out of which seven appeared physically and one sent a lawyer to represent him.

It will be recalled that Kalu last week in an interview with The Times of Nigeria promised to "Fight President Obasanjo with evrything available constitutionlly and if he wants war, I will give it to him."

Religion / Re: Prove That The Lord Jesus Christ Is God by pblessed(m): 9:13pm On Dec 28, 2006
when we say Jesus is God, that's a very right statement, for one, biologically, he was the son of God, i'm sure that shouldn't be a problem, the life he got was from God as no child can be born without a sperm and the sperm is got to be from a man, but the sperm that fertilized Mary womb was from God, his word, so whose traits and genes do u think Jesus had, God's offcourse.

So for this He is God.

Another one is, God Gave him the authority, to function in His place, that is heaven responds to Jesus, earth and hell do same.

OBj is ruling as president becos of the authority in the name of the presidency
Religion / Re: Speaking In Tongues: What's That All About? by pblessed(m): 8:55pm On Dec 28, 2006
we i see people especially proffessing Christians argue about speaking in tongues in public or private, i really get amazed, no body argues about speaking French, Yoruba, Ibo etc in public, no one sees anything wrong with it, whether interpreted or not. But the one language which is God's every1 wants to stop, brethren this argument is inspired by devils, i understand there are those that want to learn but when u put it down, something is wrong.

the truth is anyone who denial speaking in tongues, his Christianity is questionable, i wonder at such same way I'll wonder at a Yoruba man who doesn't speak, argues about speaking his language in public.

We are from Zion, we have a language, it is tongues, we communicate with God in It, we can also communicate with ourselfs.

Stop this tongues argument, only believe andgrow in the life and ability God has given us.
Religion / Re: Is Jesus God? by pblessed(m): 9:49am On Dec 20, 2006
Hey guys, the truth is, arguing that Jesus is God is like arguing that u are a human being, if Jesus isn't God then who is he, who is his father, it wasn't Joseph, u all know the story, the life of every child comes from the father, in the case of Jesus the life came from God, the word was planted into the womb of Mary, so if God is his father, what will he be? A God definately.

So let's stop arguing that fact, but instead take advantage of his presence on the earth by the Holy Spirit, you know in Matt 1:18 Jesus was call the Child of the Holy Ghost, if He is the child then he also is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is God. when a man get born again, the same thing happens, so if u argue about Jesus what is i tell u I am a God too.
