COULD THIS BE A BENEFIT AND LASTING SOLUTION TO THE EDUCATION FUNDING IN NIGERIA?

Experts in the world are saying; there is no country in the world that will align with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to borrow money (Loan) especially the developing countries like Nigeria and other's to succeed or stand successfully.

It is within the conditions of International Monetary Fund (IMF) before give a developing countries loan, despite the high interest rate attached, you must devalue your own currency in addition to other strict conditions.

Today in Nigeria, within the almost eight years of President Buhari Government has thrown NIGERIA into the confinement of IMF through collecting heavy loans and accumulating our debts profile index, which is directly related to the unwarranted devalue of our Naira coupled with super inflation, in addition to the threat of withdrawing the educational subsidy more especially within the University system.

The long strike of about 8 months that ASUU undergone in the Year 2022, in which non of their resolutions was fulfilled.

Today, The Universities have started releasing circulars with an effective exponential high increase in the tuition fees, so that not everyone can afford the education particularly those from poor or low financial income.

The biggest disappointment is that, the funds received in the name of loans from the IMF, Some unpatriotic individuals within the government have since siphoned and looted the money with pride.

The advice I give every day and Night and also plan to give to the next government, is how to create an agency that will raise fund for the utilization of education.

Today according to NCC data statistics, it has confirmed that in Nigeria there are more than 218 million mobile subscription lines. I am advising that an Agency named "TELECOMMUNICATION EDUCATION TRUST FUND" (TETF) should be established. The mission of this agency is to remove at least one Naira from every person who make call, in total, more than Trillions of Naira will be gathered every year. From this fund, not only education, but also health and agriculture will be supported and there will be significant results without rencor on the citizens.

For example, during the period of Late General Sani Abacha he created an Agency called "Petroleum Trust Fund" (PTF) headed by Muhammadu Buhari from 1994 - 1999, and the citizens benefited from the intervention of the agency in the areas of roads and waterways, supply of educational materials, rehabilitation of educational infrastructure, food supply, health, water supply.

But the question is, who is the trustworthy, a patriot and Nationalist
who loves Nigeria at heart and passionate about education to be given or saddle with the responsiblies and leadership of the agency ?

There are people with above qualities of patriotic and trustworthy to whom this trust will be given to achieve the absolute results or goals.

The double face of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to cripple the chances of Atiku Abubakar 2023 in return of his failed 3rd term Agenda ambition

No doubt, the endorsement of Peter Obi by former president Obasanjo is an indication for the directly routing for the emagence of APC and South West Candidate Bola Tinubu by proxy.

Obasanjo is well informed political leader that understand the terrain of not only Nigeria but Africa and world of politics at large. He is the member of Eminence Person Group (EPG) in the world, full of diplomatic tactics that fully understand no one will be a president in Nigeria without full political structure nationwide as in the case of Buhari in 2003, 2007 and 2011.

South East is one the dependency block vote's of PDP in which South West Candidate and APC has zero chances of having the at least 25% for the region.

Peter Obi from the South East of Igbo extraction was brought up by Obasanjo through Labour Party with the gospel of South East presidency, that's why all the political and campaign leaders of Labour Party are from South predominantly.

And in the North, Obasanjo has no trusted and loyal fellow than the NNPP Presidential Candidate HE Sen. Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso. And if Obasanjo was really meant for Peter Obi to Win in 2023, he will ensure both LP and NNPP merge together as strong force against PDP and APC. Surprisingly Obasanjo opted not to do that because he will not achieve his revenge ambition against Atiku Abubakar.

Kwankwaso and Peter Obi are the toothless of Obasanjo reading the same script to ensure the revenge against Atiku Abubakar and for the political ambition of South West Political Candidate Bola Tinubu.

Obasanjo as strategic and diplomatic Eminence Person endorsed Obi from South East and by proxy straighten Kwankwaso of NNPP in the North.

Peter Obi of Labour Party will not step down for Atiku Abubakar as many assumed, while Kwankwaso of NNPP will step down for Bola Tinubu of APC from the die minutes.

Also, some prominent leaders of South East like Prince Arthur Eze, Soludo and many more fully understand the tactics of Obasanjo to jeopardize any chances of South East in Nigeria to produce a president in near future, going by the antecedent of how South West outsmarted them in 1967 (Civil War) and Jos convention of PDP in 1998, how Obasanjo stand firm against Cheif Alex Ekwueme.

In the END, HE Atiku Abubakar will survive all the hurdles and emerge victorious as President Elect comes 25th, February 2023, not because he is saint but the electorate's believes in the political philosophy of PDP and Atiku as master of political strategies for almost 3 decade that will definitely #RecoverNigeria

Aminullahi undemocratic and illegal detention by First Lady A'isha Buhari.

According to the reliable and insight findings by the prominent journalist Jaafar Jaafar confirmed Aminullahi was detained and tortured by plain clothed policemen not SSS.

From the report, there was a lady named Zainab Kassim (a former social media aide to First Lady) that was detained too by the first lady.

The operation was engineered and executed by Aisha Buhari’s ADC Usman Shugaba.

Both Aminullahi and Zainab we're beaten to a pulp in the presence of Mrs A'isha Buhari by three (3) security aides. While Aminu and Zainab Kassim were being beaten, the First Lady felt that they were not beating them well, so she joined them. As she attempted to throw a kick, she slipped and fractured her leg.

Recalled, DAILY NIGERIAN reported a story that the first fractured her leg.

It was the injury she suffered during the assault that took her to Cedercrest Hospital for treatment.

Ms Zainab Kassim was released on the condition that she would not speak to the press, while Aminullahi may face trumped up charges of defamation.

Its indeed sad to the democracy, and history will not forget.

The undemocratic and illegal detention of Aminullahi is doing more harm to your government and your unsellable candidate Bola Tinubu that was stoned in Plateau State and rejected all over the country, therefore First Lady A'isha Buhari and APC faced your corrupt government.

It was confirmed, APC and President Muhammadu Buhari government are the major beneficiary of intimidation, defamation, castigation and sort of any dehumanization, characterized by their die hard supporters.

Prior to 2015 general election, there's no all sorts of intimidation, dehumanization that President Jonathan, Dame Patience including we the PDP members and our supporters didn't go through in this country.

Goodluck as the man of peace, true democrat endured all the defamation and castigation in which APC and Muhammadu Buhari for once didn't call their members and supporters into order.

Although it wasn't surprised how APC destroyed our social and societal orientation. Even the APC Vice Presidential candidate, Mr Kashim Shattima dehumanized the personality of Vice President Osinbanjo as ice cream � seller, Senate President Ahmed Lawan as Tomato dealer � and HE Atiku Abubakar as bottle water dealer, in which the APC clapped for him in two hands.

The prominent APC singer called Dauda Rarara, there's no any sort of abusive, I'll manners, defamation, mockery and castigation against the prominent leader's of PDP and members he left untouched.

The leader's of APC include the first lady Mrs A'isha Buhari even for once they didn't called him into order, because what goes round surely comes around.

The Young man Aminullahi arrested for saying the mind's of millions Nigerians dying in hunger, poverty, unemployment, insecurity and illiteracy brought by APC administration is justifiable.

Nigerians compared the pictures of HE Mr President Buhari, Vice President Osinbanjo, First Lady A'isha Buhari including their children's and relative's only them are enjoying the deceptive mantra of Change.

Today, 133 million Nigerians are into multidimensional poverty. From the region of the First Lady A'isha Buhari (North) the 65 percent of the population are suffering with multidimensional Poverty, from the 10 core northern states, 11.07million children's (6-15yrs) are just rooming in the streets as out of schools.

You cannot sleep with two eyes closed in the states like Zamfara, Katsina and Niger localities including Kaduna, Banditry and Kidnapper's are the king makers, deciding what comes in and comes out.

The same first lady admitted publicly that APC administration brings suffering, hunger, poverty, unemployment and insecurity to the nation, seeking for forgiveness and the masses of Nigeria will not forgive the government of APC as we are only waiting for February 2023 to vote out this clueless government.

The PDP National Youth Agenda , we are calling for the immediate release of Aminullahi, and also apologize to the Young Man and his family for putting them into pain and anxiety.

Dear our Party Leaders, a clarion Call to do the needful concerning the Youths and support groups affairs.

27th November, 2022

It's so unfortunate that we are losing the grassroots based organizations to APC due to inaction of our party leader's.

Severally, i drew the attention of our party leader's concerning the situation of youths wing that are sacrificing their resources, right from 2015, 2019 and towards to 2023 and also apparently be neglected and sidelined from all the party affairs and the campaign activities of HE Atiku Abubakar.

The Youth's that are working and sacrificing for the party are not even within the Youth Presidential campaign Council, also support groups are totally sidelined and neglected in the committee.

Yesterday, more than 15 certified registered groups of our great party and Atiku, that recently conducted their verification exercises with Dr Baraka Sani the DG support groups, switched their allegiances from our great party PDP to APC under the influence of Zamfara State Governor, HE Bello Matawalle.

The groups teared their original certificate of registration given to them by PDP and APCO, while assuring they are no longer members of our great party and against the political ambition of our principal HE Atiku Abubakar.

Indeed, whether we accept it or otherwise its great lost to our great party in this time and hours, we are losing our grassroots based support groups due to unconnected proper communication between the party leader's, the presidential campaign council and the support groups.

Indeed all the National and Local support groups of our great party are in due concerned on how they are totally sidelined in all the affairs of the party, despite the efforts of Dr Baraka Sani that keep assuring all things will be normal soon.

Therefore, am calling the attention of our great party, our Presidential Candidate, Party Leaders and Stakeholders with immediate effect to quickly addressed the wallowing situation revolving the engagement, and integration of Youths and support groups in the party and campaign affairs.

The election ahead of us, is an election under the influence of Youths, and those Support Group's been neglected are the alpha and the Omega that will canvass and work tirelessly in ensuring the electorates vote PDP and Atiku Abubakar and also depends the Vote's from the polling unit up to the coalition center's.

Leaders of PDP must do the needful.

Same people parading their ways towards Atiku Abubakar are same colony of people that failed the party 2019, because of their inaction and action to mobilized and works will all heart for the victory of the party.

Today, Youths on their own find are standard route's as support groups, sacrifices their had earn money, working distance to distance, mobilizing and engaging the Grassroots pollution, which is the work of the party leader's but neglected.

And to be candid no one cares about the Youths and Support groups, because they see us as trashed or nuisance to them.

Anyway this is politics, we are all youth in our prime time, definitely things must workout.

The real root of the problem comes directly from the office of the National Youth Leader, he failed to carry everybody on board. Following VIPs is not an achievement, that's not the function of your office as National Youth Leader.

You are our brother from Northern origin, we must tell you the truth, because power is transient, you can only be remembered as great individual the way you handled your office.

As of today 99.9% of Vibrant active Youth that are working tirelessly for the victory of the party are not happy with the office of the National Youth Leader and Youth Management Affairs.

Same situation when you go down to the Zonal and State levels of Youth leader's, they are just answering the name of the office, without any blue print that will groom and integrate youth into the party affairs.

Our leaders will always command you to go back to your Ward, and to my surprises no one from the National, Zonal and State is communicating with those people within the Grassroots, only support groups are doing their best for the interest of the party. Majority of our leaders are only working for themselves not for the party, which is too bad at this moment.

We love this party PDP and our candidate, we must strong to tolerate all this issues and focus our eyes on the ball.

We must hold our leaders accountable, by telling our self's the truth no matter the consequence's. Nigeria is our country, the task to rescue the nation is a collective responsibility.

ON CENTRAL BANK GOVERNOR, MR GODWIN EMEFELE DEMONETISATION OF 200, 500 AND 1000 NAIRA NOTE.

I Hon Sulaiman Uwaisu Idris, see the process as predicament that will plunge the masses of Nigeria into more abject poverty, difficulties and high inflation. Therefore i advised President Muhammadu Buhari and CBN Governor to halt the process.

First of all, flooding has destroyed over 600 hundred farmland in Nigeria, which opens room for hunger and starvation due to lost of crops and food by the flood disaster, instead of CBN to come up with a robust policy that will at least sustained the damages, but they are implementing a policy that will lead to lost of man productive hours by queuing for a useless cause.

The Nigerians with cash outside bank aren't Politicians, it's regular Nigerians like you participating in the informal economy.
POS vendors exist for a reason to help those in informal economy.

The politicians have most of their money in foreign currencies.

Let's learn from the lessons of India in the year 2016 when their demonetisation process completely failed to reduce their currency in circulation.

Before the demonetisation, their currency in circulation was 18 trillion rupees, after the processes, it rose to 20 trillion rupees (Bloomberg). The real victims were poor Indians and small business owners. They lost productive man hour's queuing for a useless cause.

In India after they changed their currency, they simply took it out, and that's what will happen in Nigeria at the end.

The currency design will only make many Nigeria poor and poorer at the same time when President Buhari is dreaming of removing 100million Nigerians out of poverty.

The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefele and his cartel in the banking sector are very rich.

I was surprised when i see the middle class Nigerians speaking their English to depends the rubbish and wrong move by the CBN.

Same situation of unprecedented inflation witnessed by Indians after their process, will happen again in Nigeria and they will keep speaking English.

Above all, the people from the Northern Nigeria are to be adverse effected by the so called process.

The Northern region has the highest number of people living in poverty. Highest number of Unemployment, highest number of unproductive population, highest number of unbanked individuals.

With the announcement of the policy by CBN Governor, the Dollar to Naira exchange is almost 800 naira and it's predicted to be 1000 Naira within the subsequent week's.

Since the assumption of Godwin Emefele into office as CBN Governor he was successfully destroyed the integrity and internal policy of our apex bank, he was successfully crippled the monetary power of our Naira, hence crippled the total economy of Nigeria.

History in Nigeria, will not forget Mr Godwin Emefele as the worst CBN Governor.

Those people around you telling you nice story, half of them can't remember their polling Unit, talk less of winning their polling Unit not their state.

Those people around you only wants to cash out. These people are not working for the grassroot believes .

THE NATIONAL COORDINATOR PDP NATIONAL YOUTH AGENDA LEAD A PEACEFUL PROTEST TO INEC FOR OUTRIGHT REJECTIONS OF RECRUITMENT OF APC MEMBERS AS AD-HOC STAFF AND CALLED FOR CREDIBLE, TRANSPARENT AND FAIR ELECTION.

We, "The PDP National Youth Agenda " wish to offer stern warning to electoral umpire (INEC) on the proposed recruitment of APC members as AD-HOC staff, which runs contrary to the provisions of the extant Electoral Act and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).

You will recall that a few days ago the National Chairman of the INEC, professor Muhammad Yakub ordered the portal of the commission to be reopened for recruitment of AD-HOC, staff.

But to our surprise, We uncovered that those applied so far have a direct to a link or membership of APC which will compromise the integrity of our electoral process.

While we recognise the fundamental right of every Nigeria to seek for any position of her choice, we however, wish to state that their recruitment violet the provisions of paragraph 14 of part 1 of the Third Schedule to the constitution as amended by Section 30,Act No 1 of 2010, which prohibit or forbid the recruitment or appointment of a member of any political party as poll clerk, returning officer, presiding officer etc.

With the foregoing in mind, we therefore, vehamently (INEC) to halt the proposed recruitment of APC members on grounds of their obvious partizationship; You may note that paragraph 14 of part 1 of the Third Schedule to the constitution as amended by Section 30, body shall be non- partisan.

It is in this light that we write your good Office to draw your attention to the grave disregard for the law and ask that you apply the law appropriately by disqualifying those who are card carrying members of any political party.

We wish to remind INEC of it's responsibility to upholding the sanctity, and integrity of Nigeria's.

THE COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE 3RD ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC PARTY NATIONAL YOUTH AGENDA, HELD AT ATIKU PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN OFFICE, ABUJA ON THE 20TH, SEPTEMBER 2022.

With humility and respect, I extend my warmth hearted appreciation to all the respective National, Zonal, State Chairmen's, Stakeholders and members that participate and witnessed the 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM).

During the meeting, a series of issues was discussed, included the achievement and challenges as well as solutions to put in place to address the future.

Firstly, the National Coordinator, Hon. Sulaiman Uwaisu Idris commend the leadership of our great party PDP, at all levels for working tirelessly to ensure Peace, Unity and tranquility for the victory comes 2023 general election. He also commend the leadership of the National Chairman Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, for ensuring our great PDP, stand's as the most powerful party in Africa, and pass a vote of confidence to him.

The National Coordinator also commend the confidence of the incoming President Federal Republic of Nigeria His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON for outlining new ideas and techniques for ensuring PDP win the forthcoming Elections at all levels.

PEACEFUL PROTEST TO INEC, ABUJA.

Immediately after the adjournment of the Annual Meeting (AGM), all the members of PDP National Youth Agenda match peacefully to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Headquarter, Abuja for the outright rejection of recruitment of APC members as Adhoc staff and called for Free, Fair and Credible, Transparent Election.

During the protest our members storm the street of Abuja and gyrated over freedom most avail, we need free and fair Election. INEC most be transparent and lenient.

At the INEC headquarter, Abuja, we all received by the official and managements of the INEC.

The management of INEC asked to delegate a representative that can discuss with Prof. Muhamud Yakubu the INEC National Chairman, we assign our National Coordinator Hon Sulaiman Uwaisu Idris, and Engr Dasilva Saheed Olayinka, the Deputy Coordinator, were they presented all the facts and the reasons of our peaceful protes to the National Chairman.

The management of INEC appreciate our efforts for following all the strictly rules for peaceful protest, also commend our efforts as a vibrant and potential Youth's whose always agitated for better Nigeria.

Prof. Yakubu lament our great effort as first support group that outrightly called upon his attention for free and fair credible election.

PDP National Youth Agenda calls for Mr Emefiele immediate resignation as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The occupancy of Central Governor seat by Godwin Emefiele directly disengages all his so called commitment to the bank and by picking a nomination form, Mr Godwin Emefiele directly damage the purity and integrity of the Central Bank hallowed office.

It is in defence of the sanctity of a key institution of the country’s economic governance that PDP National Youth Agenda calls for Mr Emefiele immediate resignation as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria to pursue his presidential ambition.

The statutory independence granted the Central Bank and its governor is compromised, and totally eroded, as a sitting and serving Governor of the Apex Bank becomes a politician, lobbying a delegate's to be an APC Flag bearer.

We have no concern with his inability to bring stable domestic prices in his role as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria since 2014.

We have no concern with his incompetence and pitiable handling of monetary and fiscal policies which have worsened the nation’s economy with proofs in inflation, weakened naira among other economic defects.

Nor is our worry to the many failed interventions contortions of Central Bank in diverse spheres of our economy.

He must tendered a resignation with immediate effect, and EFCC must apprehend him forthwith for siphoning the National Fund to pursue his political office.

As long as he remains at the helm, while he is consciously seeking the occupancy of a Presidential seat, the important work of the Central Bank and the monetary policy direction of the country will continue to be directly subordinated to the pursuit of the actualisation of his political ambitions. Because he as already destroyed the independence of the Bank.

Which Nigerian farmer would borrow money from the banks and turn around to spend his hard earned income on the CBN governor’s. Nonsense!

The exorbitant cost of forms in the APC, demonstrated youth has no any chances or future in the party, unless as thugs during election.

The present reality of APC administration indubitably portrays a system that is under siege by the actions, inactions and reactions of the ageing corrupted political drivers of the party.

President Buhari and APC leadership has eroded youthful participation and representation in modern day politics with financial hindrance to contest elections.

The financial ability to run for an election in the party, has made the opportunity to hold political offices a mirage. Injustice and maladministration have permeated society; thus, President Buhari and APC described Youth as “all bark but no bite”.

Many Nigerian Youth harnessed and amplify their voices through social media to demand good governance from President Buhari and APC leaders.

The country riddled with insecurities, poverty, economic degeneration, and educational instability are the reasons Nigerian youth must wake up to Vote APC OUT OF POWER, by voting Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria massively in the forthcoming general elections.

Because PDP demonstrated a commitment to include young people in Politics and Governance. Also our great party PDP, clearly testified that the development of Nigeria is in the hands of young and active with substantial forms price, followed by the reduction of 50% fee to young aspirants and free nomination form to all female aspirants.

Nigeria’s leadership needs the young and energetic to catalyse development processes.

The country’s economy has been left in the hands of APC which are political hyenas and piranhas in the guise of old and supposedly witty leaders who are bent on killing the economy with obnoxious policies.

If this is not the case, how do you explain the exponential increase in expression of interest and nomination fee of your party with 100M for President, 50M for Governor, 20M for Senate, 10M for Reps and 2M for State House.

With such high figure of inflation induced by your party APC, how do you explain the exponential increase of dollars at the expense of Naira?

How do you justify uncontrolled and incessant killing and kidnapping rampant in the nation, what is the rationale for the increased level of insecurities under your administration?

The political outlook of Nigeria under this administration is tarnished, and the need for people who have the tendencies to redeem Nigeria’s image internationally is the youth who have been sidelined in the affairs of leadership by present administration.

This situation is a wake-up call from oblivion for Nigerian youth to harness our population to demand

The introduction of the of the movement to HE Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu (TALBAN MINNA) was done by the National Women Leader Hajiya Habiba Haruna.
She Briefed HE Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu on the achievement of PDP NYA and the struggles so far followed by the presentation of PDP NYA Regsitered Certificate with Decumented Activities to our leader.

The National Coordinator of our great movement Comrade Sulaiman Uwaisu Idris (SUI), went further by breifing how we came together collectively from different Zones, starting from our wards, local Governments, States and National in other to have a strong structure for the youth to get involved, Engaged and included in thr political dispensation of today under the umbrella of our great Party PDP by giving more opportunity to the Youth and Women's, in such a way that will give people's Democratic Party (PDP) a sound soft landing in 2023 general election and beyond.

That's why we are here to have for your blessings and also to guide us on how to follow and with the help of God we have registered the movement successfully Nationally.

HE Dr Muazu Babangida (The Chief Servant) went further by asking what makes this movement different.
The National Coordinator Comrade Sulaiman Uwaisu Idris (SUI) answered; because we focus on grassroot level nationwide, we are more concerned about the ward, because every politics is local.

HE Talban Minna suggested it will be more nice if we can also registered the movement with as Non governmental organisation (NGO) due to the good effort and recorded achievements PDP NYA.
He also adviced to put more extra efforts on the grassroots very well, so that we should engage our self on advertising, campaigning and also telling people about PDP aims and objectives. He also suggested that to adjusted the meeting and schedule for another consolidated meeting after the national convention hopefully by January were every state will come with a delegation as qourum for further discussion, engagement and recommendations to guide the Party.

He went further by thanking the entire members of PDP NYA for having the courage to come together in other to see PDP succeed.

Then suggestions were reached that we will call the CSO of Wadata Plaza and others Convention Committee Chairmen's on the arrangements of the convention.

Nomination for PDP NYA Member Contest for any National position in the forthcoming National Convention:
The National Coordinator spoke on how each one of us mattered to this great movement and also spoke on how we should look for a post to contest in the forth coming PDP National Convention.
Norminations started and the National Coordinator was first norminated to pick from any of the several Deputy posts, but this was turned down by the National Coordinator for the fear of zonning and other personal reasons.
Then our National Women Leader Hajiya Habiba was norminated for the post of the National Deputy Woman Leader. And after series of suggestions and points raised, it was agreed that we were going to consider the zonning arrangement and if it favours us, then she will go for it and others if possible
But she also requested the need to consult her leader and discuss the matter.

Any Other Business:
1. The National Cordinator suggested if any other member declares interest for any post in the forthcoming coming convention, we will still support them.

2. Hon. Eseobong Emmanuel reminded us that our profile is still yet to be submitted to the National Headquarters.

RESOLUTIONS OF THE NORTHERN STATES GOVERNORS’ FORUM MEETING WITH NORTHERN STATES EMIRS AND
CHIEFS HELD ON MONDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER, 2021

The Northern States Governors’ Forum, in its continuous efforts to address the challenges bedeviling the Northern States convened an Emergency Meeting today Monday 27th September, 2021 at the Council Chamber Sir, Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna. The meeting was also attended by Chairmen of Northern States Traditional Council led by His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto.

2. The Forum discussed issues of Peace, Progress, Development and well-being of the Northern States. The Forum took stock of progress made in handling challenges of Banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery and insurgency.

After extensive deliberations, the following resolutions were arrived at:-

1.The Forum reviewed security updates from the Region and observed the need for a sustained synergy and coordinated efforts between the Federal and Northern States Governments while noting success of recent measures. The meeting also noted with concern the constraint of the security services and urged the Armed Forces to embark on simultaneous operations and resolved to share the plans of the Frontline States come up with common with other Region; and assured of its readiness to work in synergy with the Federal Government of Nigeria in finding lasting solution to the current security challenges.

2. The Forum appreciated the ongoing onslaught against banditry, kidnapping and Boko Haram especially in the North East and parts of North West and North Central States and encouraged the Armed forces and other security agencies to sustain the tempo to enable the security challenges be permanently addressed in the shortest time.

3. The Forum received updates on the Renewable / Solar Energy Project and NOTED that request for land for the project had been submitted and are being processed by the Northern States. The Committee had commenced negotiations in a public private arrangement and sovereign guarantees to ensure bankability of the project by multilateral financial organizations. The Forum called on States yet to process the request for allocation of land for the project to expedite action.

4. The meeting received updates on activities of some Committees constituted by the Northern States Governors’ Forum and NOTED that recommendations contained therein are being considered with a view to coming up with implementation strategies.

5. The Forum observed that some Northern States Governors had earlier expressed views for a power-shift to three Geo-Political Zone in the South with a view to promoting unity and peace in the Nation. Notwithstanding their comments, the Forum unanimously condemn the statement by the Southern Governors Forum that the Presidency must go to the South. The statement is quite contradictory with the provision of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999) as amended that the elected President shall:-

(a) score the majority votes;

(b) score at least 25% of the votes cast in 2/3 States of the Federation.

(c) In the case of run-up simple majority win the election.

6.The Northern State Governors Forum considered the on-going National debate on the collection of Value Added Tax (VAT). As responsible leaders while we are constraint by the fact that the matter is sub judice we however for the purposes of educating the public make the following observations:
(a) the judgement of the Federal high Court calls to question the constitutionality of VAT, withholding tax, education tax, Niger Delta Development Commission, National Information Technology Development Agency, 13% derivation, National Economic Development Council and many other currently levied and collected by the Federal Government of Nigeria, Federal Inlands Revenue Service.

(b) Rivers and Lagos State Government had enacted their own VAT laws and the Southern Governors Forum have expressed support for this course of action;

(c) VAT is being confused by these State Government as a sales tax. If every State enacted its own VAT Law, multiple taxation will result in increases of prices of goods and services and collapsed in interstate trade. VAT is not a production tax like excise, but terminal tax which is paid by the ultimate consumer;

(d) Another confusion is ignoring observation above and its “overall effect”. The reason Lagos account for our 50% Vat collection is because most of the telecommunication companies, Banks, manufacturing and other trading activities have their headquarters in Lagos with the resultant and wrongful attribution of VAT

(e) Until and unless the Supreme Court pronounces judgement on the substantive matter between Rivers State and Federal Government, the matter is sub judice and Northern States Governors Forum would respect this.

7. The Traditional Rulers Councils appreciated the efforts made so far by the NSGF in addressing the key areas of challenges facing the Northern States, they expressed their willingness, solidarity and collaboration with the Governors’ in addressing these challenges particularly the issue of security. It was equally resolved that perpetrators of crimes should be dealt with irrespective of their status in the society.

8.The Forum decried the high level of conspiracies being perpetrated by some Judicial Officers in releasing / granting bail to arrested criminals. This attitude sabotages the fight against criminality, therefore, there the need to develop good and robust intelligence mechanism amongst States was identified as a panacea.

We lost such a handsome boy. The boy happens to be my Neighbor in Tudun Faira area of Jos North along Dogon Dutse, Bauchi road.

I remember last year same situation happened with one little boy in same street in early morning. The most scaring is they all got slaughtered from the next position and there is no little or drop of blood from the body of the victims children. That's definitely sounds those that killed them are after their blood for ritual, because they have to drained all the blood.
Like me and others living in the same street we concluded that there are Blood suckling individuals within the area, that annually sucked the blood of innocent children.

With the matter of Urgency all hand must put on deck to quickly find a solution to apprehend any one involved.

This is heart breaking.

The Sokoto State Executives Members of Peoples Democratic Party National Youth Agenda (PDP NYA) paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman PDP Sokoto, State, Hon. Alh. Muhammad Bello Goronyo to present the great Organization. The PDP NYA were received by the State Excos of the party.

The PDP NYA State Chairman, Hon. Shamsu Tambuwal explained the mission, vision and rules governing the organization from the National, Zonal, States and Local level.

He added by saying part of this visitation was to commend the entire Party Excos, and to inform them the PDP NYA North West Inauguration will hold here at Sokoto State, to showcase the good and wouderfull projects of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Sokoto State.

He briefly introduced the documented project and the Convention Budgetary plan to the State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Alh. Muhammad Bello Goronyo.

The State Chairman expressed their appreciation and gives assurances of their maximum support and cooperation of all the assistance needed by the PDP NYA.

He also explained that, this as a new and good achievement in moving the Party forward, and the entire good Peoples of Sokoto State and Nigeria at large.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) State PRO, Hon. Abdullahi Yusuf Hausawa, appreciated with happiness about the Idea of behind this Organization. He also said, I am very sure that this organization will bring some new things in Politics which can help the Party during the elections.
