Family / Re: My Son Lied To Us For Three Years, That He Was In The University. by PeeBee: 4:16pm On Nov 28, 2011
@op, i think he has learnt from his mistakes by now. Discuss his open uni choice with him and tell him your fears (maybe he's considering the stress of UME and UTME), also give him options of part-time programmes and schools away from home (whether in a diff state or country). He would definitely make up his mind and when he does, try to get the contact of at least one lecturer or the HOD who'll keep you updated.
A lot  of people have made these kind of mistakes and have come out better when given another chance.

Fashion / Re: Girls: Do You Really Need Makeup? by PeeBee: 3:50pm On Nov 01, 2011
But what are you hiding? are you that ugly or too many skin diseases that you don't want the public seeing?

None of the above, i just feel good with it and make-up hides very little IMO. With the responses, I'm beginning to wonder what people define as "make-up"

Lost my way that day and could'nt have gotten a cab around plus i was'nt sure of the exact place i was directed to. I now know my way around there and would'nt be in that situation again.
Family / Re: Is It Wrong For A Married Man To Give A Lift To A Helpless Girl? by PeeBee: 3:16pm On Sep 13, 2011
I don't think there's anything wrong with it, you just have to be smart and consider the environment. An obviously married man helped me some time ago and I'm eternally grateful; saved me from trekking a long distance.

AjanleKoko:

ATM cards can't be personalized in 1 hour, yes.
But I have gotten a card in one hour also, from FBN. I lost my wallet, and they gave me a card within 30 minutes. It wasn't engraved though. My names and the card number was printed on the card with ink.

Same thing, but i can at least get my cash with that. My other cards took a minimum of 3 weeks after much stress.
Religion / Re: Christian Romance Novel. Is It For Real? by PeeBee: 10:37am On Sep 13, 2011
There are christian romance novels, these books discuss courtship, love and marriage in a Godly approach. Bible verses are used, the need to be born again is emphasized and the characters do not engage in sex until marriage.
Christians are humans and have the ability of falling in love and even making mistakes in relationships, so these novels describe love in a responsible way and re-affirm that love is not always about sex.
Some christian romance publishers are "Heartsong" and "Love-inspired".
