Family / Before You Say I Do by philus66(m): 8:39am On Aug 08, 2023 |
Dear one, give yourself an average good life before you say "I do" to someone else for a couple of reasons. 1. Though no one is perfect, but get rid of any character/behavior you know that is not good. Do not allow your future spouse to deal with everything. 2. Make friends not enemies: it might be surprising to you to know that some persons got married to their spouse and also got married to their enemies. Do not allow your future spouse get to make enmity with someone they know nothing about. Your relationship with people will eventually affect your spouse's relationship with them. 3. Be financially okay: yes 'okay' not perfect. You don't need all the money in the world to make your spouse happy, but when there isn't enough of it, your spouse is not happy either. Money is like gas that keeps the engine running. Have a good financial life even though not perfect,it should be enough. Till I come your way again. CIAO!! |

Hello NLANDERS, good morning. Amidst this economic harshness where everyone is trying to survive and make ends meet, people are venturing into various things just to survive. However, the uncertainty wrapping some so called "FINANCIAL LIBERATION OPPORTUNITIES" are too obvious to deal with. People have been scammed through these means. Just today 01/05/2023, a new platform had been launched called INSTANTNAIRE. I brought this to the house to get our opinion or if we have heard of it, is it a trustworthy platform?. Can someone actually invest in it? Your views are highly appreciated. Thank you. Moderators please I will be glad if this can get to the front page,it is a matter of national interest. Thank you.( The site is not allowing me to post pictures ) |
Culture / Talking by philus66(m): 10:46am On Apr 21, 2023 |
Recently I discovered that it is not advisable to speak on things you know nothing about or things you don't understand. Don't speak! I guarantee you, you will be speaking from two places IGNORANCE AND FOOLISHNESS. Sometimes we speak because a topic is brought down for discussion, therefore we don't speak out of necessity. These days I find myself keeping quiet in order not to sound foolish. Do not talk to impress someone. EXAGGERATION IS THE MOTHER OF LIEING. CAUTION: LONG READ BUT LIFE TRANSFORMING!!! Culture is defined as the way of life of a people. That statement is a total truth. Culture shapes the life of a man,it creates a kind of mindset for a man,it creates decision making patterns for a man. Culture builds an ecosystem in the life of a man,in this ecosystem everyone thinks the same, acts the same, talks the same and every other thing that follows. This ecosystem in most cases does give anybody the liberty to act differently,it will take something stronger to change the view of any man about their culture. Take for instance, how can you convince a Yoruba man that Amalu and Ewedu belongs to the Igbo tribe of Nigeria?. It will take a mammoth effort to achieve that. Culture is not a bad thing ,it is the very foundation of the society,it is what colours the society. Now this is the catch, individually we all have our culture, behavioral attitudes. That is things we grew up to meet, things that are practiced around us,things we are familiar with, some are good some are bad. Take for instance,a father that has a bad money spending habit, his children will be born and then grow up to meet a bad culture,if not taught otherwise the pattern will continue. So whichever culture we were born into,or we grew up to meet, the ones practiced around us that are not really healthy it is time to have a change. We want to look at some triabl steps in achieving this. 1.OBSERVE AND ASK YOURSELF THE QUESTION "IS THIS GOOD FOR ME"?: a careful observation of what is practiced around you is the number one step to having a change of culture. Be careful enough to note things down if you can. Identify the kind of culture practiced around you and make your choice. 2.MAKE PLANS TO CHANGE AND ADOPT A NEW CULTURE. 3. BE DETERMINED: the truth is, adopting a new culture, character is not a task it is a battle because you are no longer swimming with the tides but against it. Everything you were used to before will come militating against your new practice. Stay sharp and don't slip. 4. WELCOME TO A NEW LIFE. NOTE: this does not apply to our tribal culture, I mean who we are born as. This is strictly a behavioral practice. I want to use this medium to thank Mr.Best here on Nairaland for having me write his content for his product. Thank you very much Mr.Best, thank you Nairaland. Politics / Imumolen Set To Unveil Election Master Plan To Nigerians In New Year's Day by philus66(m): 11:57am On Dec 31, 2022 |
Accord party's presidential candidate, Professor Christopher Imumolen is set to break new grounds in his quest to become Nigeria's next president as he unveils his election master plan in a nationwide broadcast to Nigerians on New Year's Day. According to feelers from the Accord party's campaign office in Abuja, the broadcast is set to address key issues already articulated in Professor Imumolen's manifesto for February's highly anticipated polls. The broadcast on network television will also be streamed live on all social media platforms for the express purpose of maximum traction and reach. The schedule of the interaction says the broadcast by Imumolen will last 25 minutes while another half hour will be earmarked to entertain questions from the media. There will also be an opportunity for Nigerians to call into the programme and ask probably the country's most educated presidential candidate questions in what promises to be a highly engaging session. Professor Imumolen, an engineer and an entrepreneur made history when he became the youngest amongst the 18 aspirants vying for the office of Nigeria's president come the 2023 general elections. He has made no secret of his desire to effect a paradigm shift as he seeks a turnaround in the fortunes of a country battered by years of misrule and endemic corruption. He is passionate about addressing the decay in virtually all sectors of the Nigerian economy with the ultimate goal of returning her to it's former pride of place as the giant of Africa. Professor Imumolen's live broadcast to Nigerians on New Year's Day -- a day which symbolises freshness and newness -- is guaranteed to not only signal a novel trend in political campaigns, but set the tone for a flurry of political activities leading to the now well hyped 2023 general elections. According to astute political watchers, the passion with which he usually sends his messages of emancipation across is what marks Professor Imumolen out as a man who really is desirous of making a change if he gets the chance. |
Crime / We Have Fished Out The Killers Of Mrs. Raheem-muyiwa Adejobi by philus66(m): 6:45am On Dec 28, 2022 |
Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the 25th indigenous Force Public Relations Officer of the Police Command has spoken about the gruesome murder of Lagos-based lawyer, Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem. He has identified that the three police officers involved in the case are currently under detention. However, he stressed that due to the fact that an Assistant Superintendent of Police is involved, the rules of engagement might delay them in the course of dismissing him. He explained that it takes the higher superiority power of the Inspector General to dismiss the ASP. He said, ''The police will not in any way condone indiscipline, we have fished out the killers of Mrs. Raheem Bolanle, you can go and find out, they are currently in detention. But the ASP involved is going to slow down the process a bit. Because of an ASP, the CP in command cannot dismiss an ASP, it's a process that we need to write to the IG. We will forward a report to the police commission, the commission is the one that has the right to suspend this man.''
