Hey pple... Salute. Am just a quiet busy observer with similar interests as everyone here. Pls is there anyone here going to Fanshawe college in London Ontario or knows anyone that is or is already there...? Read some reviews about the school which I found a bit discouraging however the school offers a course that really aligns with my aspirations plus I have got over 5 years working experience in that sector. Furthermore, the course has a co-op option (co-op is a form of internship that is part of the program)... Is advisable to apply to CDHC with this particular program option, hope it wont raise a flag that I intend to seek a work permit of some sort. Also, who knows anything about London Ontario? Shey the city make sense? Nice job pple. And, miss bon... pls say yes! 1 Like |

Autos / Re: Where Can I Get A Car To Buy With Flexible Installmental Payment ? by Pholy(m): 6:33pm On Dec 31, 2012 |
hisblud: Personally i would advice against such. It will be better you save that money as fixed deposite for that length of time, buy your car wit peace of mind. What if the following occurs (God Forbids oh) it gets stolen, had an accident, gets burnt- you would continue paying for a waste and it might hurt! Be patient and buy, even if the above should happen, all along, it was YOURS. Naaa.. Dats why there is insurance.. He can insure the vehicle to prevent such financial loss in the event of such. |

Business / How Effective Is Nipost Postal Service. by Pholy(m): 3:26pm On Apr 28, 2009 |
Hello House, My company intends outsourcing its logistics function, (that is, the dispatch of bulk mails to overseas countries, mostly UK, USA and EU) ; to a courier company. In selecting an appriopriate courier company, we would be looking at effectiveness as well as efficiency. At our last meeting, we nominated NIPOST as one of the prospective courier companies which we would probably engage. Nipost is a very good bet for us as regards efficiency (cost is cheap), however we are uncertain about how effective the organisation is as regards delivery. Please House, i would welcome comments or experiences from anyone who knows a thing or two about Nipost or has had any business to do with the Organisation. Thank you. |

Family / Re: Your Spouse Gets You A Life Insurance Policy Behind Your Back by Pholy(m): 12:26am On Oct 21, 2008 |
Hello nairalanders. I feel sad about most of the posts I have read so far. It all boils down to the point that majority of thee populace do not really know the essence of taking out an insurance policy; more specifically, a life assurance. Besides, what makes you all think husbands die first in all scenarios, a life policy should be a mutual thing. A life assurance policy is an insurance policy taken out on the life who eventually is the beneficiary to the sum assured when the life insured dies. By the discussion on these posts, many of you see life insurance as a catalyst to untimely death either caused by the beneficiary or as a “cause” just cos a life policy has been taken. I put it to you my friends that these insinuations are outrightly incorrect. A life insurance policy should be a mutual undertaking between the parties involved, however it is not binding, the principal party that is the one who insures his life should see a certified broker or agent so as to get the policy which best suits him/her. For those who are worried about the time value of the sum assured, there are policies with provisions for inflationary indices, thus these effects are eventually loaded on benefit payout. However, I advise the best type of life insurance is the endowment, which ensures payment at the untimely death of the insured life or at maturity of the policy, which could be a designated number of years. This policy thus ensures payment in two ways; either one that comes first. At least, this will alleviate the will for the beneficiary to stab the loved one from behind. Life insurance is one of the best things ever to happen to future security, safety and investment. |

hello house, i am in my final semester in one of Nigeria's foremost university, and i am in a dilemma. presently, i am on a 3.4 CGPA, with an option of graduating with this result which is a 2nd class lower degree and taking an extra semester to upgrade this result to 3.5 CGPA which is a second class upper. however, my situation is this; if i graduate now - i would graduate this month and go to serve in march 2009 but taking an extra semester means i would graduate sept 2009 and serve mar 2010. please, what should i do? is 2.1 really worth the wait? i am 23yrs old and studying Insurance |
