After an argument in church resulting from “calling me mommy” and “I am older than you”, I have been having this curiosity, why are pastors now called “Daddy” and their wives “mummy?” personally, I do not believe that it is right to address a pastor as “Daddy”. Like pastor is not enough respect to someone who teaches the Bible? Jesus was called teacher and not Daddy. Is there any bible verse to wrong my thought or are we now adopting our own style of Christianity? Matthew 23:9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven https://www.nairaland.com/3340626/why-pastors-wives-called-daddy |

i should ask you the question rather. so Jesus apostles did not ask Jesus questions to know? why e be say when person ask question e go be like say the person day challenge God? if you are really a Christian then clear me up. no one is looking at how people practice. i am teeling what happened in church between pastor wife and one elderly woman way cause argument you are telling me if am looking at others. if you are bringing tradition into church then why not we focus on traditional religion make we no where we day face? anybody way ask question u go call am terrorist that is a cheap attack when you have no answer. i dont fall for that. you self you are not a christian cos you cannot defend christian doctrines. 2special: 57 Likes 2 Shares |

Now you have compared your offering to juju priest, is it what it is? They stand in comparison? Why did you quickly use juju as an example when asked about God? Does it equate to you? As someone who represent sayings of the Bible (which i find questionable now) aren't there better explanation in the contest to use to explain a doctrine? Secondly, you talk about enrichment of pastors, why did you jump into that conclusion when i never wasnt going there? or is it what it is? Now, since you mentioned that topic, can u explain to me the source of wealth of these pastors? What you said, that offering can open many doors what do you mean? is that the same as when Jesus said knock and it shall be opened? Did Jesus lack the right word to use when he said ask and ye shall receive? Ken4Christ: |

Thank you very much for this Bible verse. I never knew it existed i just checked it. Matthew 23:9 And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. But the pastors read this verse in the Bible, then why do they accept when people cal them that? ministeriallist: 42 Likes 3 Shares |

otedola1:Is the business not profitable? Why not share your thought so everyone can benefit here. would it be better to partner with a transport company or to run one's own company himself? on the average how much do transport lines remit to investors every month? The other guy said the income is roughly 7000-9000 Naira daily possibly after paying all the dues and every 21 days one must spend roughly 45000 Naira on maintenance of the vehicle which by my calculation is roughly 140,000 Naira remittance monthly. So can you or someone else throw more light into this, if you give your vehicle to a transport company to manage it, how much would be the monthly remittance from the transport company to you?? 1 Like |

farem:yeah, bro! I speak several languages and I have taught many for free. Am not asking for a visit to my place is just an online thing. Simply a conversation to enable me speak it, fluently. I speak it already, but been years since I last had a chat in Yoruba. I got friends who do, but am better talking to strangers cos' they are already accustomed to talking in English with me. They aren't core Yoruba breeds anyway. Moreover, if you have to name a fee, then ensure you have your certified teaching qualification which I will screen, cos am not going to throw my money in junks. I don't no y Nigerians can't freely help their compatriots. And, not to be modest, I take it back! I can very much afford beyond your costly and affordably, but language isn't what I pay to learn except if I'm getting a certificate in the end. Again, I appreciate your kindness |
