Fixey:You said a whole bunch of nonsense. Linking a particular attitude to a whole tribe is stupidity and foolishness at its peak. Sorry for being rude, but it's a fact. Smh. 30 Likes 1 Share |

Yoruba or Hausa owned companies rarely employ Igbo. In the days I was addicted to reading newspapers l have discovered that the western Media don't usually have three or less Igbo employee unlike the Igbo Media companies, like The sun, that usually have Yorubas in the topmost position of the organization. I later did a research and found out that the situation is even worst in other sectors. This 12 Likes 1 Share |

The Company am working with is situated in the south east and a very big company well known nationwide. The company is owned by an ibo but yorubas are head of some major departments and everyone is working in acrimony. I hate tribalism 17 Likes |

Fixey:guy it's like I know d company d op is talking about,I also had a very bitter experience with an Igbo guy n I am 100% sure the company never employ an Igbo staff till date. We were like 7 guys posted to a neighbouring state from d company on a contract job of 7 months of which they are to provide accommodation for us with light, water n other conveniences. we got to the site n they kept us in a face me I slap u with no light n water,we complained to our team leader n he told us everything is under control n negotiation that since they didn't provide conveniences as stated that we will b compensated.unknown to us that this guy have sent a report to head office that we have been well taken care of and he even went to the extent of snapping an hotel n sending it to d head office claiming it was our lodge. we suffered throughout our stay n these Igbo team leader keep blocking all attempt to reach our head office, unknown to us that he has been heavily settled without paying us a dime. After, the contract each if us wrote individual report n submitted it to the head office only for it to contradict what our Igbo team leader claimed. A round table meeting was called and the guy was sacked n I remember d MD made a statement jokingly n I quote "it's like u Igbos need money than all of us ooo, maybe we should hold on for u b4 u sell all of us"......till now I learnt they haven't employed any Igbo till date. I don't know what makes d Igbos think they are smarter than others n they need money than others 21 Likes 1 Share |

Lyrics269: Just a thought, why would they subject your friend to several time consuming test and interview sessions only to tell him that: We won't employ you because you're from a certain tribe? So, your friend never mentioned it during the preliminary stages which state he originates from? And a company who don't employ certain tribe didn't bother to ask their applicants' states of origin to save them all the hassle of completing several stages for several applicants? Methink your friend blew it. Or you're not being sincere here. 5 Likes |

When Amcon was newly set up. I passed the written test and was invited for the oral interview. I discovered at the oral interview that some went into a room that had a panel of 6 people. Those were the connected ones. That was the real interview. After I had sat for almost 4 hours, I was sent to a room where there were 2 of their staff who had just finished eating and had toothpick in their mouths. The first question i was asked was "are you igbo?". I said no. Then the man said my surname sounded like an igbo name. That was the end of the interview. No questions about education or work expérience. They simply said they would get back to me. That was almost 10years ago. I got another federal job that same year without connection. Simply God-factor. He upturned every table of népotism and tribalism because that was where He wanted me to work. He took away their sleep and they had to send me a text at 6.00am Saturday morning to come pick-up my letter on a Saturday so i could résume on Monday. 24 Likes |

I’ve had an experience, but I’ll like to start by saying something my father used to say( he’s late now) The white Americans( whatever this means) don’t like black Americans (whatever this means) Black Americans don’t like African Americans( immigrants) Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo don’t like themselves Igbo man from Anambra feels he’s superior to Igbo man from Abia Man from Aba feels he’s superior to man from Umuahia Man from Umuahia south feels he’s superior to man from Umuahia north The red blood cells are always at war with the white blood cells It’s in human nature to despise what he’s not. A few years ago an agent sent me to work for one Igbo man at Idumota Lagos. When he saw me first thing he asked was “ are you from anambra?” I said no Where are you from? Abia state Ahhh you’re my brother oo Kee kwanu? ( how are you?) I’m fine What part of Abia are you from? Umuahia Umuahia... people from umuahia are always too stubborn, I don’t really like people from umuahia. I’m from Aba but my wife is from umuahia but she is the only good person from that side. All the other people I’ve met from umuahia are always rebellious, but I will try you and see . The other useless boy that left this shop is from anambra, that boy nearly created another shop inside my shop. He was making more money for himself than he was making for me. umuahia people... umuahia people... I hope you are humble oo, I don’t want a situation where I will shout for you now and you start fighting me. This is my shop oo I wasn’t angry that the man said those things about Umuahia people. People are an embodiment of their experiences, so we should cut them some slack. We should strive to be better people Be an example wherever we are My best working experiences has been with people of other tribes, but it’s an individual thing. Person wey good, good. 30 Likes 1 Share |

LordOfTheGame:I hate this nonsense talks from you dumb heads. Who's competing with who? Igbo man no even dey top 10 richest men in Nigeria. You're just glorified traders leveraging on Yoruba ports for survival and aside super eagles and your igbo-speaking nollywood, tell me the industry the igbo come close to Yoruba. You cause problems everywhere you go. You brought the hatred you have for Yoruba to Yoruba soil and expect a pat on the back? Most landlords in Lagos have made it clear not to give out their house to igbo thanks to past experiences. You need to address your characters very well, work on your attitude before jumping bus to Lagos. Not everyone kicks their parents with sliding tackle to wake them from bed like you do. If you can't adapt with our ways of life, I don't know what you're still doing on our soil. Only few of you have manners and that could be because they've lived with us for long. Most of you relate with others the way you relates with yourselves in alaigbo and you expect us to embrace you. Nobody write letters to igbos to jump many south south states before entering southwest. Do anyhow, you see anyhow. Ire oo 18 Likes 2 Shares |

May our loved ones not be treated by a doctor who was hired because of tribe and not qualifications. May we have leaders that are competent enough to lead, not based on tribe or sentiments. May God give us the wisdom to know that there is no Supreme Court to appeal to, above him. Who can deliver us from the wrath/judgment of God? We will all reap what we sow. It is better to be the oppressed than the oppressor because the oppressor can cry to God, but who shall save the oppressor from God? Fixey: 5 Likes |
