I think it depends on the club. If they value the player so much and cannot risk letting him go.

I also think that's the reason Olise wasn't invited. Not sure though.

To be precise, you're trying to say Chukwueze is not really Valued by Villarreal undecided

Bar injuries , I think Nacho is now the finished article..its all there right now. everything you need to be a striker for Brendan. The touch, hold up play, passing, pressing, finishing top notch.

Rodgers could've sold him off to fernerbahce earlier on but opted to keep him instead while crafting out a post vardy formula that will bring out the beast in him..
His first touch, ( which has often been his acheles hill), his link up play, and all round game has magnificently improved.. Add that to his natural nick of being at the right place at the right time and you now have a man worth more than the 50million pounds buy back clause mancity inserted into his contract..

Now the formula has been found, tested against a top team(second in the table) and there's no going back..

Nacho single handedly delivered a semi final spot to Leicester after over 30 years of their waiting..God forbid's but imagine if nacho gets injured and is unavailable for the finals and Leicester goes on to loose, trust me, the fans will imagine a different scenario had he been present..)
That's goes to show how much the senior man has grown in leaps and bounds.. So What more than to build the team around him now surely?..

Even if Barnes returns, its Perez that'll drop to the bench..
Nachos development or soaking of knowledge (as thesupernerd will call it) is finally complete..
Credit must go to Brendan anyways, for putting faith in the lad..

I see kelechi with a masterclass performance against mancity @wembley final, effectively denying them the cup.
I see kelechi @ the champions league next season...

Just to be clear. I dont own that term @bolded. It actually belongs to My Good man, TheGoodJoe. He mentioned it here first, expanded on it and super analysed it several times.
I only concurred and also saw the light early in all TheGoodJoe said years back and also added it to my own analyses of Nacho's situation back then and now.

So credits to TheGoodJoe for coining it first.

Knowledge soaking and "Drilling tunnels" (as made fun of by several here years back) isn't bad afterall as Nacho has shown and as TheGoodJoe and I agreed would do Nacho good even when he wasn't getting enough chances.

So dazall... wink

My dear, some people are simply the enemies of progress. You find them everywhere, even on Twitter sef ... dem full there. They are experts in criticizing and bringing down Naija players. And they still call themselves Naija soccer fans. Imagine that!

O pari

TheSuperNerd:
I dey tell u Andy. Komekn is a choir boy and a saint sef when it comes to Hafeful Nacho Criticisms compared to Curtis.

As in, Komekn has been here longer than the guy but not all of Komekn's posts revolve around pulling down Nacho or Osimhen or any other indigenous-born Naija lad. But this Curtis guy, Omo... Na him daily bread be that before his sabbatical and recent return.
6-7 pages of this entire thread has Curtis' name attached to Nacho Slander. That says a lot.

Nerdie, what’s the status of Ademola Lookman and Fikayo Tomori? Are they still interested in playing for Nigeria, or are they all waiting for the 3 Lions a la Ebere Eze?

O pari

TheSuperNerd:
8 key passes in a Championship game. 8!!!! That's wicked chances creation ability.
Although Reading drew the game but just imagine creating such giant number of chances for the likes of Osimhen and Iheanacho or even the wingers in Chukwueze and Simon in one game. Registering at least 5 goals should be expected.

Ejaria and Olise will instantly make the quality depth of our midfield tops once they finally make their debuts.

Smartsmith0907... Keep eyes on and put pressure on those NFF guys to Super-Quicken this process or I vex for you. angry

No, I ain't implying that. It should depend on a number of factors. Whether there is a replacement, upcoming matches, as well as the player's happiness.

Among the names you dropped, it's just Lookman who has since applied for his switch and is already at an advanced stage. Just his passport and final fifa clearance left.

The others are English boys. Tomori already made his choice and he was already 21 when he made his debut for England. Whether he regrets or not is not our business. Dude must live with his choice.
Ebere Eze too has since pitched his tent with England.
We have no business with internationals of other nations for our Super Eagles. wink

Nothing new here. He has made the US squad before and has been name-dropped here already. He balls for Leicester U-23s I believe. So yeah... He is "American".

Besides we have eyes on Arthur at Arsenal among a few others and our GK role is secured for the next decade and more.

Mbok. Nacho did not do anything single handedly. It was a success of his team. He was just the one that got the goals.

It is always a team effort.

Yup, Ebere Eze is a big miss but good luck to him and Tammy Abraham. I wasn’t aware that Tomori has decided to go the same route as well. I wish them well.

As per Lookman, I think he’s a great talent. He’s been one of the best Fulham players this season. Thanks for the update sha

Yes, I believe so. I don’t think he has repped England in any competitive games yet. But Nerdie has indicated that Tomori, like his colleagues: Tammy and Ebere, is more interested in waiting for England.

He actually has. Back in November 2019 vs Kosovo as an 84th min sub. It was a Euro qualifiers.and he made that debut at 21 yrs and 10 months.

The new fifa eligibility rule states that you must have only played not more than 3 official (Competitive) games before age 21 and those games should not be major tournament games.

Tomori was already 21+ on his England debut. So it's up to him. But he chose England so no one should expect us to go after him again after he rejected us already. It's up to him to reach out. Chikena.

Ramon Azeez played for Cartagena again today. All 90mins. His side lost 2-0 away at Albacete.

That's back-to-back 90 for Ramon in La Liga Smartbank. Five games so far too in the last 4 weeks.
