a complex that was just completed had it fully payed for like 6 months before it was declared open.

You see those inner city investors might be your customers in the future.

In the USA we have what we call urban flight and in the 60’s white flight.

The inner city’s will become too crowded, too noisy, too congested, etc and families will move to the suburbs to raise families and retire to.

And there you are waiting,

I’m actually a very small player there. I was bargaining on a two acre layout out of 15 acres. My offer was rejected because an entity bought the whole 15 acres

Ibadan is ripe for off-plan several years ago. Location ain’t issue in Ibadan right now.

You just need to create the environment that’ll attract your target audience.
Akala is cool due to nearness to Lagos/Ibadan expressway but as a smart investor I’d been looking at neighboring communities to buy. Don’t be surprised when the buying pattern suddenly shift towards those communities.

Those in power are just narrow-minded people who can’t see beyond 4 years.
