When I say some of you here are dull and actually love tyranny, it would seem like I'm overreacting. But you are indeed dull. Forget the fact that you can read and write, it is no evidence of a brilliant mind. Why isn't your argument about "under what law as stated in the 1999 constitution which is still operative today, would Nigerians be prosecuted?" As things stand today, that law isn't in existence. And your guy malami, has shown to the world why quota system is the reason the north will never rise to the peak of any merit driven institution. GeneralFarouq: 16 Likes 1 Share |

Almost a week and the corpses of his killers haven't been shown on the internet, like they paraded the corpses of the igbo persons they claimed shot Gulak. Also, no one has been arrested for the murder of the Neco Registrar ( who is an igbo man). Like I said in the past, if you are igbo and you still don't understand that you are seen as someone whose life is worth nothing by the Nigerian state, then, I don't know what to say to you. These bastards killed random innocent igbo youths, and claimed they were Gulak's killers, and One Nigeria people celebrated. God where art thou? Illumined939: 9 Likes |

BlackBaron: I posted an article about a week ago and all these were addressed in the article. The plan of the government is to launch another satellite in 2021 but with dwindling revenue, slow economic growth and the effect of the pandemic on the economy and with other issues that far out-ranks satellite program, I doubt that would be possible this year. In the security sector alone, we need more fixed wing aircrafts, more attack helicopters, more transport helos, more reconnaissance aircrafts, more logistics aircrafts in the airforce. More tanks, more artilleries, more MRAPs, more APCs, army aviation, more IFVs and many other weapons in the army. The navy needs Frigates, corvettes, missile boats, patrol boats, helicopters, missiles and lots more. The police also has its needs too. The cost of making these equipments functional alone in terms of fuel is enormous not to talk about servicing, repairs and replacement. These is only in the security sector alone, we have health, infrastructure, commerce, education, power, and so many other sectors. There are also emergency needs; the government had to pump billions into the economy as relief funds to sustain the economy during and after the pandemic, purchasing vaccines for citizens and so on. How much exactly is the country's revenue and what percentage of that revenue is going to the federal government that we expect them to be fully functional. The government wanted to increase revenue by increasing VAT a little bit and we all still protested against it! We are paying one of the lowest VAT in Africa. Only Eritrea's rate is lesser than Nigeria's and that was after Nigeria increased it from 5% to 7.5% And its not even like we still can't continue getting satellite images after the satellite stops functioning. All that is needed as a temporary measure is agreement with countries with robust space programs to share the images with relevant agencies in Nigeria. The functioning satellite isn't providing 24/7 coverage in the first instance so the effect of not having it functioning won't really be felt so far those agreements are in place. I'm glad he has highlighted how the agency can generate revenue for the agency and government through communications satellites. He should write a reasonable proposal and present it to relevant people in government. If it is very profitable, I'm sure any government will be willing to even borrow to finance such. NN came up with the idea of an hydrographic survey ship. It will serve much needed functions for the navy and also generate massive amount of revenue for the navy and government when they provide its services to countries that need it but can't afford the ship. Ministry of Transportation came up with the idea of extending the rail lines from the coast of Nigeria into Niger Republic to make Nigeria a logistics hub of the country instead of Benin and generating an impressive amount in revenue from that. They are partnering with Lagos state government and private sector to build one of the biggest deep seaport in west Africa thereby directing logistics traffic to Nigeria and generating more revenue. The ministry of works came up with the idea of granting private entities tax breaks in return for construction of roads thereby reducing burden on government and cutting cost (private sector will do these things far cheaper than government), they are engaging private sector in other constructions and making sure revenue will be generated from roads. They are in the process of concessioning roads already completed and so on. Jamb used to be a liability for federal government years ago, right now they are generating billions each year and that is after they've reduced the cost for the citizens by almost 50%. These are the kind of things civil servants should be deliberating on. 9 Likes 1 Share |

More than 20 people have been allegedly killed in Igangan, one of the towns in Ibarapa North local government, as gunmen opened fire last night. The Palace of the Asigangan as well as a popular petroleum station were not spared. They were razed by the suspected bandits numbering 50, who were said to have invaded the town around 11 pm in more than 20 motorcycles. This is coming few days after the chairman Oyo State Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps, General Kunle Togun (rtd) alleged that foreign Fulanis have encamped the entire Southwest region and may strike if nothing is done urgently. A former caretaker chairman of the council, Tunji Omolewu, who confirmed the incident to OYOINSIGHT.COM said he had to rush down around 5 am this morning. ”People had barely retired to bed when they said they sighted motorcycles entering the town. Before our people could know what was going on, they had started killing people. I got the call around 11 pm. We were on our way from Ekiti where we had gone to do the Yoruba nation rally. I got to Ibadan around 12 am and when the calls did not stop coming, I decided to come home. I have counted more than 20 dead bodies. The palace of our monarch was torched. Adolak filling station too was burnt. We are assembled here…” he said, almost breaking down in tears. A former caretaker chairman of neighbouring Ibarapa Central, Yemi Akinlabi, who is holidaying in the United States, said his phone was bombarded with calls. ”It is so sad. Only few days ago, our people got intelligence report and forwarded it to the appropriate quarters for actions but here we are today. Are we going to continue to live in fear in our land? I have spoken to General Toogun about last night’s incident and we would want him and his team to do something. Our people must not be allowed to resort to self-help,” he added. https://oyoinsight.com/breaking-igangan-boils-again-20-killed-palace-petrol-station-burnt/ |

bidexiii: Maybe Fulani related maybe not. The problem with self help security arrangements in security architecture is gaps in communication with Army. They reported on social media that armed foreigners were camped around these areas that were attacked. Why were soldiers not drafted? Maybe because stupidity has taken over and parts of the architecture were absent.. "since you now have champion Igboho" This is no way to run a modern country. Mob sense is no sense. States need to link up with the Army and Police. To say that Army and Police are partial so you won't cooperate with them is stupid. If you want to take that attitude, then use PMCs but PMCs are expensive. So we are back to what we should be doing; scouting, reporting, evacuating, securing, attacking and arresting. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The funny thing about this igangan issue is that, if they people decide to pick up arms, then you will see soldiers invading the town searching for arms. The people of igangan do not deserve this unprovoke havoc unleash on their communities by Fulani heardsmen. I'm so pissed off. The useless vegetable won't say anything about this now o. When the people starts taking up arms, the idiot will start asking for peace. Fulanis have really pass their boundary, the way they will be paid back will be more brutal than the way they are killed in CAR. 10 Likes |

Odunayaw: I also love righteous rebellion. I'd go so far as to argue we all have a duty, as citizens, to rebel against unjust law or diktat. When the abominable Zuma was president, he tried to suppress photos of his illegally-funded by taxpayer money country home. Amongst the leftover laws from the Apartheid police state, there's the National Key Points Act which forbids photographs of key infrastructure deemed to be pivotal to national security. It's unconstitutional on various grounds in today's SA, but it remains in the statute books because nobody has ever been prosecuted for infringement and therefore it has not come up before the courts. Overnight, Zuma's private compound was included in the list of Key Points and a statement issued by the Presidency stating that it was illegal to photograph National Key Points. What did South Africans do? We posted photos of Zuma's place and other Key Points, tagged the various departments responsible and dared them to prosecute. Not a single prosecution, and the emperor was shown to have no clothes! 9 Likes |

Nnamdi Kanu has already told you all the agenda of the fulanis - occupying the lands of indigenous Populaces in Nigeria. The Esn guys are at war with the Nigerian security forces because these are the folks that help the fulanis in their quest to conquer the people. Nnamdi Kanu in his broadcast today, revealed that a large detachment of soldiers have been flown into Sam Mbakwe Airport. So, in the coming days, expect more mayhem. Thing is, unlike in the past when Ipob members were killed for protesting peacefully with their flags, and the military incurring no losses. This time, the Nigerian soldiers will die along with the probiafran guys. You kill me, I kill you. DubaiLandLord: 4 Likes |

TROOPS FOIL ANOTHER ATTACK ON IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND, NEUTRALISE 'DRAGON', 4 OTHER ASSAILANTS Nigerian Army (NA) troops operating in Owerri the Imo State capital foiled an early morning attack on the Imo State Police Command today 6 June 2021. The troops assisted by the Police Special Forces eliminated a top IPOB/ESN Operational Commander, Joseph Uka Nnachi alias King of Dragons, who has been orchestrating attacks against security agencies and government establishments in the South Eastern States. He has been at the centre of several heinous attacks since the death of Ikonso who gave up the ghost during an encounter with security forces on 24 April 2021 at Awomama Village of Orlu East LGA of Imo State. Equaly neutralised along with Dragon were four of his cohorts while one was captured alive and has been assisting security forces with useful information. The troops recovered four AK-47 Rifles, a Toyota Hiace Mini bus used as operational vehicle by the assailants as well as several assorted ammunitions and charms. It would be recalled that IPOB/ESN Terrorists attacked the Imo State Police Command on 5 April 2021 and since then, the security forces had been on the trail of the assailants leading to the successful elimination of the key figures involved. The NA wishes to place on records it's profound appreciation to the peace-loving citizens of Imo State and the entire citizenry for their support towards combating security challenges in the South East and the rest of the country. The Chief of Army Staff, Maj Gen Faruk Yahaya, particularly noted this as a patriotic gesture and appealed to the public to do more while assuring them of the NA's resolve to end the reign of terror in the country.
