You press a deeplying playmaker, you disrupt his team, and Jorginho succumbs to press everytime. I don't know why Martinez will be sitting back playing 3-4-3 with 3 centrebacks who don't contribute to the midfield, leaving Belgium midfield one short. . . instead of putting a 3rd midfielder on which is the AM you need to harry Jorginho. If you just put one AM on Jorginho, that's Italy's killswitch right there.

Jorginho had no one on him all day. He was just dropping deep to collect ball from the centrebacks with no AM on him because of course Witsel and Tielemans have to keep the 2 man shape deeper in the midfield

He did not go any head to head with KDB. KDB played on the right. Jorginho was unmarked all game due to Belgium's 3-4-3 formation, not that him passing the ball at the back would make any difference if not for Insigne and Barella pulling worldies.

Forget bringing in Danish team who are not mates player for player with Italian team. What does KDB playing on the right have to do with Hojberg in the centre.

The fact remains Jorginho was the only spare player in the match due to the 3-4-3 formation. KDBs pressing brief was on the Italian left back. Nobody had pressing brief on Jorginho. All those useless passes won't mean nothing if Insigne and Barrella hadn't scored worldies and Lukaku didn't miss two open nets. Nothing to do with Jorginho getting the ball off centrebacks with no pressure on him . Put pressure on him and he will crumble. That's why he's a so called deep controller and Chelsea don't control matches, simply because their controller can't handle any sort of pressing. What a disgrace of a controller, to the point his fans start counting tackles when we bought him to control games which he can't do under any sort of pressure.

Anybody who wants to build on Jorginho can't mean well for Chelsea. Thank God we are targeting other DMs that can do the job, not failed controllers trying to pose as tough tacklers
