I agree but still that doesn't stop Tinubu from aligning with the rest of the south if he has ambition to lead.

He should act as the father of the south..

He is doing that but also trying to balance it by appeasing the north

I don't think Buhari has openly endorsed his successor in APC.
I know he might be having a double mind now on wether he should hand over to Tinubu or A fellow Northerner..
It's Still Undecided.

Or who do you think Buhari would like to hand over to?

As for PDP, their Northern candidacy is non-negotiable for them.

But Let's see what Southern PDP governors would do.

I will tell you the truth, Buhari is under serious pressure to annoit a Northern candidate, if he fails to do it, the north will hate him..

They know that any southerner he hands over to will definitely come hard on key northern agendas..

We shall see...

You can see how almost all northerners are coming out to say power is moving down south.in apc,the next chairman is going north which means they have zoned power down south inevitably.the southern governors settled that issue today,it is a forgone alternative...

That is the mistake the south keeps making.the problem of the south is not the north but the south just as the problem of the north is the north.our problem is internal.you need to read this book "how Africa underdeveloped Africa"...
You arw very funny.you are crying against perceived and alleged marginalization of the south but you still want to sideline the core north.metaphorical

Bro core conservative north us dragging this nation backward, stop all this silly debate.. Are you telling me that even if you're Buhari's son that you don't know that he doesn't have what it takes to lead a nation to glory.

Bro, Tinubu believe that as he forged an alliance with the north for Buhari so the north will forge alliance with him for the ticket..

He has no care for the rest of the south. This is the simple truth...

Despite all these, the north sees him as a potential strong leader, they are not comfortable with that, will he now try to forge alliance with the south No way , that time has passed. South needs a fresh mind for support..

Totay agree with you. It is now like a duel to the death.

Buhari has shown such a nepotistic and openly pro-Fulani Northern agenda that even the most docile Southerner to become President will be unded unbearable pressure to negate the damage Buhari has done against the South, and ensures that never happens again.

Imagine that one of the justification of Buhari for building a free rail line to Niger Republic, running into billions of dollars, is that he has family there?

Southern leaders now understand that Buhari has openly drawn the battle line and that they too must beging fighting for their people or risk becoming slaves to the Fulani domination and expansionist agenda. Waiting for 2023 will be too late.

When APC brought in moin moin Buni to cower Southern strongman Tinubu, a protected favourite of the Western world even Northerners have to be careful with, it was Southerners, i.e Igbos, who cheered loudest instead of seeing the big picture of how the strongest political leader from the south should never be abandoned to ridicule from the Machiavellian and feudal North.

It is all of us in the South who will suffef for it given what we now know to be the plans of fhe North in their cynical attempt to gain massive advantage from plundering a nation they know is falling yet they still want to gain enough advantages to see them have a good chance od survival oncw Nigeria implodes.

They are not even hiding it any more and the skewed and unfair provision of this currenf PIB is further proof the North is a desperately scared region now cynically determined to go for broke.

It may never be too late to be awoke.

The South has always been divided amongst itself politically, where the Sub Regions in the south will be fighting amongst themselves in order to be a second Fiddle to the North.

But I'm glad that we are all awoke now, thanks to Buhari's unapologetic nepotistic political disposition. If not, the south would still be wallowing in their political ignorance.

We have all learnt our lesson, and I'm happy for the southern leaders for uniting truly against the North...

I have this strong feelings that the North wouldn't cede Power to the South.. maybe they would, but if they don't, that would actually mark the beginning of the end of Nigeria.

That Nigeria is indivisible is because the Political class have not had a major war or disagreement grin

Bro, there will be no balkanization, we will put the north to their rightful place first , after dealing with them then we balkanize.. All we need to focus on the strategy using every advantage we have both external and internal forces..

And once we get back the power, the core north must never again be allowed to rule..

Only if Kogi or Benue would side with the South.
We would definitely cut the wings of the core North.

The North is really in a tight corner now, they don't know how to begin tackling this recent type of Southern Unity.

Their Divide and Rule have expired, we know better now.

Bro, Umahi, Ayade and the likes of Tinubu should be observed with one eye. Their personal interest supercedes the region's interest .

Stop hating in Tinubu bro.. that guy is bringing APC down South to one of his loyalist. (Osinbanjo, Fashola, ) that is generally accepted.
It's high time u move on from the role BAT played against PDP in 2015.

The issue is who is going to force PDP to drag the party ticket down south?? Nobody.. PDP may be seeding north.. hence APC must present a generally acceptable and formidable candidate..

Fahsola, Osinbanjo, Amaexhi..

Could that be the reason why Buhari made that carless statement of;

That guy seems like he's not ready to handover to a Southerner.

This is no longer The North vs South-South or Vs The South-West or The South-East.

We are talking about The North vs A United South.

What do you know about Politics?

Has the North ever won any Election without winning at least one Geopolitical Zone in the South before?

The great jagaban himself made a mistake, he brought the ailment upon us all, the most he could do was to humble himself and built underground bridge with the south south first for taking out their son and then with the ibos.

Going to kano and declaring Fulani and Yourba are one despite all we have seen was just a prove that he is not a serious man..

Jagaban is a politician who calculate asap..I belief he made that move to get northern friends and loyalist.. that even if PDP will choose outside south, APC will still win with her Southern Candidate..

The fire will come down if PDP decide to go with southern candidate too..

But PDP who is despirate to take power, a politician like BAT won't fold his arm, he LL plan ahead to make bind and bridges against opponent.. if PDP seed for south, the job will be easier ...

No,they can.even the south can.if a northerner wins the north and then get 25% of the votes in 6 southern states,he becomes president.the constitution never said win so so and so states or geo zones,it said get the highest vote cast even if you lead by one and secondly get 25% in 25 states.that is whether you win 2 states or all states doesn't matter

If the South should unanimously present a candidate, he's going to sweep southern votes.

Benue, Kogi would vote in favor of the South, plateau would be too close to call...

I don't see how a Northern Candidate would get 25% vote in any Southern state in 2023.

The election would be about survival, it won't be the normal presidential elections we are familiar with.

Don't know what other sectors Buhari did well, as far as the country and the world is concerned, we have the highest number of poor people , one of the highest number of unemployment and a near total collapse of vital institutions such education and health. I don't even want to talk about security.

The core north detest progressive minds.. Even look at your example of success ( Ganduje ) a theif that is meant to be serving 15 year imprisonment for stealing state fund and abusing his status..

By the way GEJ was a failure as well but at least he gave us democracy and respect for the rule of law and human rights so don't compare him with Buhari...

Finally the core conservative north has been given great opportunity since the independence of this country in 1960, sit down and count how many from there has ruled this nation with less success yet you still want more opportunity.

Let others try abeg...
