My People, Please, i no understand but wan borrow wisdom join little knowledge wey i get... My 'Uncle' whom i claimed as a connection in Canada actually lived with my grandparents. As in my grandparents were his guardians. You know as we do things in this country, no document, his parents did not pay for guardianship, etc. Different family names entirely but he watched me grow up and he grew up with my maternal uncle and aunties(picture to proof). I call him Uncle and he sees me as niece. He is ready to provide all support needed. From your experience house, how do you think Manitoba will treat this? Or what further proof can i give base on the above scenerio? Please, help me with wisdom |

Dimeji2020: A Manitoba Supporter must be the applicant’s close relative or friend / distant relative Your 'Uncle' can stand in as your distant relative or friend in your Manitoba PNP, provided he or his household is not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program. https://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate-to-manitoba/swo/swo-eligibility/ Don't include him in your Express entry profile because EE does not recognize distant relatives/friends. 2 Likes |

Canadahome: as ednut1 said... but 14th is ideal since you are unsure. if anything, an loe saying this "The original result came out on 10 /3/2021. And I remarked and it was uploaded on 14/4 2021" should work without any unnecessary explanation 2 Likes 1 Share |

Canadahome: Even IRCC asks for results date....when submitting your APR, you'll be asked for date of language test as well as date of test results. When responding to OINP NOI you may also want to include the upload of the remark results from the MOD/BC portal/website from April and any other correspondence from the test organiser in April, even remark/refund evidence (if you want) - this shows to OINP that your IELTS was valid BEFORE the NOI (as far back as April) but for admin purposes they showed a later date (June) on their paper print out. Out of curiosity you may want to ask MOD/BC what date shows on their portal as the test result date, this is where IRCC will look to check the validity of your IELTS, I guess All the best! 1 Like 2 Shares |

Hello everyone. Can someone explain how proof of funds are eventually calculated/converted? I understand the Bank of Canada rates are used but I don't see an option for Naira (NGN) For those who have successfully passed this stage, did you need to first convert to USD or IRCC used direct conversion rates. |

Hi guys, when is the likely next draw for skilled permanent residency and what do you project the minimum scores could be? Heard the last draw was in December. |

Mrfemi1: If you mean FSW no one knows except IRCC, however based on the announcement by Trudeau that the borders will open to Americans in mid August and to everyone else in September. It could happen anytime between next week and September. What is clear is that things are getting back to normal. 1 Like |

Hello house, Please I will like to make enquiries on POF. If one doesn't have money in his account and enters the express entry pool like that. Then you get selected by a province. Can I quickly seek for funds to update my account and then submit my bank statement or will this pose a red flag? Please suggest what I can do as one who doesn't have any POF before entering the pool. Thanks |

philonyx: You don’t need to show proof of funds before entering the pool. Once you get ITA though you will need to have it available to submit alongside your application |

Guys I have a question that keeps me up at night.. please help. Regarding POF, I work in a place where some monies are given by hand... eg after a training in Nigeria or probably abroad, we could get an envelope paid in dollars for the training. Or “thanks for coming” kind of envelope when a project has been completed. If I go ahead and pay this sum into my dom account .. how do I explain to IRCC. Will showing a document from work stating the completed project suffice? Or will showing a memo for the training suffice? In the office documents, it’s not stated that we’d be paid any money... will writing an LOE suffice? Please help. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Dennyjuff: 11:51am On Jul 17, 2021 |
sweetoma: Please don’t touch it. You could be asked for an updated pof proof mid-application and wen u print ur statement and they notice it’s been tampered with, it could lead to rejection. On Ircc website it says “you should have this money when you apply and when you land in Canada” Your application isn’t done. So you shudnt touch it. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by GraciousWords: 12:11pm On Jul 17, 2021 |
Dennyjuff: If it is a significant proportion of your POF and not obviously accrued from your salary over the years, then a VO may want to know where it's from. Is it paid by your employer? If so, they shouldn't have an issue giving you something.....maybe a payment slip or certificate saying "payment for project completion" OR "travel/training allowance". LOEs are ok, but what will you do if the VO asks for documentary evidence of what you have written in your LOE? 1 Like |
