which fact? If the suffering overseas is equivalent to suffering in Nigeria, we would have made some progress.

true but many would have been more successful back home. Go there and seek opportunity, then come back home and apply it and you'd never regret it. I know friends who are professionals in the USA doing odd jobs. I remember my friend who was a chartered accountant before relocating. He's merely feeding from hand to mouth now.
. You cannot compare the bountiful opportunities there and here. The economy there is doing well. If the government of Nigeria really wants to fix this country and stopping people from migrating, then they should do the needful by stopping the jumbo salaries they're being paid. Nigeria is getting bad day by day.

This man of God is banned from the UK for fraud after being investigated by the UK Charities commission. See attached. Criminals will always prefer to stay and thrive in Nigeria because we don’t have functional law enforcement due to corruption plus the people are also very gullible.

brown as much as I respect your worldview to a lot of issues on this I will disagree with you because

WOULDN'T YOU RATHER BE A KING IN YOUR VILLAGE THAN BE A 2ND CLASS CITIZEN OR SLAVE IN A MANSION?

In another man's land you'll always be a guest or "not part of us just living with us" and will be treated as such.

Nigeria is bad, Nigeria is bad.you run away and leave the mess created by everybody.yes I sad everybody because no Nigerian is exempted from all the madness going on in Nigeria on a daily basis to another man's land but the menace is still there, yet you run to another person's house that has taken time, sweat, labour pain and even lives to fix their country.

Now imagine if every country had the myopic mind of Nigerian leaders and every country was as messed up as nigeria ,where you go see run? Won't you be forced to sit down and collectively agree to fix the mess?

Nigeria is bad because some people think they still had alternative.if I was American,France, Germany or Japan's president I will show every Nigerian tough love.i will close the borders and tell them you made your shiii,go and fix it.if you don't fix it Don't come back here.you will see how Nigerians will speedily fix up the nonsense.i believe Nigerians are intelligent, creative and daring when it comes to wickedness.if they channel such same energy into the development and sanity of the country, trust me, within Less than 5 years what seemed impossible will become very possible.

Just look at how Nigerians are breaking boundaries and doing a lot of exploits positively for the advancement of another Mandy country, you think if he does that here nigeria will not be a better place and a country to be proud of?

Fix which country, Nigerians doesn't appreciate their own that's why our people are doing great outside... If my plan I'm nurturing kick up seriously I can't build this company I have in mind in Nigeria because of insecurities instead I will apply for citizenship of nearby country and established the company there, I can have branch in Nigeria but never will the head quarter be in Nigeria

I'm beginning to see why some people dislike Oyedepo.

Common sense would mean asking what the state of Nigeria was economically in 1987?

Of course we know it was far better then compared to now.

Oyedepo is talking as if he's the only one who refused relocating abroad far back when many of our parents have the same story to tell.

1987 Nigeria was a viable option to western countries.

The second sensible question to ask is if all Nigerians in diaspora are slaves. Again No, as we've seen cases of many who are progressing notwithstanding the obstacles of an unfamiliar environment.

If you take a closer look at his life, you would see now that some of his kids too have schooled abroad and probably residents over there.

Honestly, as a Christian, I'm beginning to dislike this man too.

Many of his utterances are insensitive.

I'm also cocksure that he has another passport to one of these western countries.
Lol he has eaten fat money on tithes, build University that an average Christian of his church member cannot attend

How can he compare Nigeria of 1987 to Nigeria of now, then it was even better....now the country is in its worst state.
I will still move if I have the opportunity, someone should ask him if all his children are in Nigeria as well

I understand what you're trying to say. Again, where's the job here in Nigeria? Ain't people also suffering and doing menial jobs, too? Hell, the minimum wage in Nigeria is $50, $50!!! Doesn't that sound absurd to you? How did you know many would be better off back home and not worse off? Again, I say life doesn't have a single path. And it's good to try options.

I wouldn't refuse any chance or scholarship for a postgraduate degree in a European country. That'll be a perfect opportunity to change my position. See, I finished service not too long ago and most of the people I know who finished with me are jobless. Some has started selling stuff like clothes, bags, shoes on what's app and Facebook. The only thing that's saving me right now is freelancing. Tell me, how can I and others refuse the opportunity or option to immigrate for economic reasons?

The struggle is real!

There are more opportunities there because the people use their brain, Nigeria have more natural resources more than a lot of the countries they are going for greener pastures but they lack the mental capacity to build.....

Come to think of it how many foreigners come to Nigeria the way Nigerians are migrating?

Who cause am?

They come. But na mostly Indians, Chinese, Lebanese etc.

What’s annoying is that they come here and dominate things here while treating us as second class citizens in our own country. Whereas it’s the opposite for us whenever we migrate anywhere.

If nigerian economy is stable, I believe more than ninety percent of people living abroad would return home.
If I remember correctly, in early 80s ticket to london from lagos was about four hundred to five hundred naira only. And you get visa at the point of entry.

That time serious market women got money more than people in abroad.

My guy don't be unfortunate with this nationality pride rubbish here, Immigration is part of life and everybody from the most developed country still migrate to another country for various reason.

From you previous post, where would the knowledge for the solar panel have emanated from if your Uncle was in Nigeria and not in developed country? We are not done utilising the brains of those ones that are willing to stay to make changes but we are more bother about those that want to immigrant for whichever reason. My guy face front, there is nothing I dislike more than national pride just because you are earning some peanut from the country, you then become blinded by the obvious evil and lack of direction prevailing this nation.
